My Flash project contains too much memory.

I am creating a Flash photo album and left many pictures in my work. However, my project has recently stopped working in Flash Player and either crashes or causes an error message indicating that too much memory is in use. I need all these pictures in my photo album, so removal of some is out of the question. Is there any other way to fix my project?

Yes, not to put one of the photos in the photo album manually.  Have them all loaded dynamically. You will not have to leave one of them and update the album will not require editing, just change the data file, you use that identifies the images and add images to the collection.

  • AVG says using too much memory because multiple firefox is open, but I only see one.

AVG regularly analyzes in the background. Lately he has demonstrated a popup window that says multiple applications of Firefox are running and using too much memory, so I should close some. But I can only see 1. Tried CTRL ALT DEL to see if I could find the answer, but only showed 1 firefox, and that he used more than 28 000. So I think that AVG is correct, but does not know how to see what who or where they are. They DO NOT display in the lower menu on the main screen, so I guess they are in the background. Do not have the virus, and Firefox, regularly updates itself. What should I do to fix?

    Hi cmich80220.
It is true, that you should only be able to run only one instance of Firefox at the same time. I searched but could not find someone else with a similar problem. If the problem comes back to Firefox running slowly, you can consult this article for troubleshooting:

  • Satellite 4030 has much too much memory embedded - 66 MB not 64 MB

    Hi all

I have a 2nd Satellite 4030 user who has far too much memory shipped! [66 MB not 64 mb]
The maximum allowed to my machine is Total = 312 mb.

I added a 256 MB stick in slot 1 memory to the supposed 64 MB on board & it does not start.
I put back the original 128 MB & started stick & apparently, I have 66 MB of RAM?

Adding to this 66 MB 256 = 314 MB! 2Mbmb more than max allowed.
I tried 2 different sticks of 256 of ram to my other laptop Toshiba & still no boot [prove it is the amount of ram?]

Am or work around for this I stuck running on only 192 MB?

    Help K Morton

    Hello Morton

This is a very stupid situation. That I can see, nobody has written anything in the last 3 days and to be honest, it is not easy to say why this happens.

I don't really have experience with these cases, but maybe you can try to update BIOS. Check Toshiba support page and try to update BIOS. Maybe BIOS values will be refreshed, and after that the memory will be displayed as it should be.

You can disable hibernation if it is enabled and you do not...

When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system. If you don't use the Hibernate feature and want to reclaim the space used by Windows for the hiberfil.sys file, perform the following steps:

-Start the Control Panel Power Options applet (go to start, settings, Control Panel, and then click Power Options).
-Select the Hibernate tab, uncheck "Activate the hibernation", and then click OK. Although you might think otherwise, selecting never under "Hibernate" option on the power management tab does not delete the hiberfil.sys file.
-Windows remove the "Hibernate" option on the power management tab and delete the hiberfil.sys file.

You can control the amount of space your system restore can use...

    1. Click Start, right click my computer and then click Properties.

-Click on "Settings" and change the "amount of disk space to use: ' something between 64 MB and 128 MB. (There may be many more now.)
    -Click OK.
-Click on 'Delete files', then select "Delete all offline content" (the box), and then click OK. (If you had a LOT, it can take 2 to 10 minutes or more).

  • Explorer.exe and svchost.exe using too much memory

I have disabled the automatic updates after the last round of updates, and now, all of a sudden, explorer.exe and svchost.exe use too much memory... enough to interfere with other programs, I try to use.

Why you turn off automatic updates?

There are between the two options. I just set it to notify. When it is practical, I go to the Microsoft Update slte and use the custom (not Express) option. This gives the user full control of the update of trial.

You will have a better idea of the cause of the problem using Process Explorer.

    Download Process Explorer.
For more information about Process Explorer, see here:

Solution Explorer. exe has a number of subprocesses. Select the sub-process, click Properties and check the Services tab.

Have you recently changed all types of starting any service. This often leads to the problem. Users often disable a reflection of service to speed up the system performance. In practice what is done is of one or several programs to malfunction.

    Hello

I use windows 8 in my laptop for a year. Now, I noticed that the OS takes too (about 40 GB) of memory in the installed drive (drive C). I cleaned the disk using Disk Clean up. But not seen so much difference. What should I do to minimize the use of memory by operating system? Is there something to delete is not in use, but consumes memory. Another thing.  It is the performance of my PC.

    Thank you

    Abhijit salvation,

    Thank you for the update.

As a general rule, Windows 8 Configuration required (x 64) 64-bit requires about 20 GB of disk space and the configuration of the system requirements Windows 8 32-bit (x 86 / x 32) can take up to 16 GB of hard drive space.

If in your case, if it takes about 14 GB, this is quite normal. I would refer you to the following suggestions can help you to empty the little space.

  • kernel_task takes too much memory on El Capitan

Hello, I own a MacBook Pro retina 13 inches beginning 2013 (MacBook Pro 10.2) with 8 GB RAM and El Capitan 10.11.6.

I noticed that I have a process in my activity monitor called kernel_task who gets in as 750 MB of my memory, sometimes of 1 GB. It's very embarrassing and I can't find a solution. I've read the 'tutorials' how to solve but is without limitation my CPU like crazy, it takes like 11%... or more (but not 600% as I've seen on other users). Is however very thirsty on memory and I can't kill him or identify the source of the problem. I rebooted my system does everything like in the book, no devices attached. I don't have a heating problem... or at least I don't think. My cooler starts when he needs too.

Also I noticed this process is written (the tab Disk Activity Monitor) as 13.6 Mb on 64-bit (like) and reads 716Kb. What the * happens?
I want that my memory at the back. Can anyone help?
    Thank you.

I say it's normal. kernel_task is the core of the operating system.

  • iMovie uses too much memory

Hello! We have deleted projects and clips in iMovie so only 30 seconds rest. Even iMovie use 4.9 GB iPad-memory documents and data. Please we advice how to free this memory.

iPad Mini, 16 Gb, IOS 9.2.1 iMovie 2.2.1

    Best regards!

    Hi Sundborg,

Did you reboot your iPad after you delete projects and clips that you had in iMovie?  If the data still showing on your iPad, you can remove it by deleting the iMovie app.

First, make a backup of your iPad via iCloud or iTunes and export all data that you currently have in your iMovie app as an extra precaution.

Then delete the iMovie app and restart the iPad mini.  Once you have verified that the data has been disabled, you can redownload the iMovie app if you want.  Click on the links below for additional information.

How do I Save your devices using iCloud or iTunes

Check your storage space on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

Depending on the application, you may be able to delete its content, or to remove the app and all of its contents.

  • I try to send a photo attatchment. but he just telling me "cannot send, too much memory." What does that mean?

    As above!

    As above!

He undoubtedly does * not * say that. The word 'memory' refers to the RAM, the things that your computer has probably about 2 GB of.

To not give you a hard time, but please, when you ask a question, refer to a message you get, it is very important that you quote the message verbatim. If you have not, you run the risk of your question is poorly understood and your getting bad answers.

In any case, the message is probably coming from your ISP, and all ISPS have maximum sizes, they allow for e-mail messages; This is to tell you that your message is too large to send. So send photos in several messages, not one.
