  How did the Deskjet printer connected to your Mac?

  Do you get any error messages?

  I just inherited a HP Deskjet F4280, printer all in one and put in place.  It auto downloaded the correct driver from Apple and added the printer in system preferences / print and fax.  I use OS 10.10 on a mini mac computer.

  I tried an alignment page and it prints blank page.  Goes through the motions as if it's really the impression, but the page is empty!  Tried a regular document via overview and MS Word, same result... blank page.

  I checked and the utility said all the cartridges are fine and have enough ink.

  I deleted the printer and readded twice and reset once the CUPS.  Same result.

  Any other ideas?

  Hello! I just got my new printer yesterday, and I for the life of me can't seem to print correctly.

  Is the printer with that I have a problem my Deskjet 3054 AIO and I am working on a PC running Windows 7.

  It printed the page alignment without problem and the fine prints when using Mircosoft Word 2003, but the problem comes when I try to print in other programs.

  In Photoshop CS3, when I try to print something, it overwrites the preview image before printing and when I print it out it comes out tiny and confined to a corner of the page.

  Also, when I try to print something from Mircosoft Office Picture Manager, the printer immediately gives me the message "error - printing".

  Also, since Adobe uses its own drivers for printing, you can check the updates/patches for Photoshop CS3 as well.

  This should help. When another page comes out of the printer, first disconnect the computer then place the page on the scanner and hit the resume. After restarting makes the printer to see if it will always print a page. If it continues to do, he checks the quality of the page. There must be black on it and at least 1 color. not to mention the color in the picture of the printer.

  I solved my problem and print again.

  Acting on information from a search of general blog, I searched my harddrive for spoolsv.exe and found quite a few copies.  It should only be stored in Windows\system32 and update service pack.  I found a few others that one with a corrupted name, that which I deleted.

  When I tried, I was able to print!

  You're never really sure, but a wrong is spoolsv.exe could stop it working properly.
