My HP laptop cooling fan does not work.
Okay, so. I have a HP Pavilion 1145sg g6. It worked fine all morning, and then I put sleep temporarily (about ten to twenty minutes). When I went to turn it on, the screen was black and he said something along the lines of
"the system has detected that a cooling fan does not work correctly. Suite operation is not recommended at this time... may result in unpredictable behavior that may result closed random, loss of data or damage the system as possible. »
Then after a few seconds it stops completely. There is an option to continue with the summary of the system and I clicked once on it, but she didn't go through completely for allowing me to use my laptop properly (I arrived at my wallpaper and it stopped).
This has never happened before, and I never had any problem with my laptop, like this before. I have had him since last August, and it worked pretty well through until today. Of course, the system sometimes, accused but nothing serious, for the most part just aggravating.
How can I fix?
Someone said here that they stung the fan with a hairpin and it started working. I took a toothpick and switched my laptop and tried to move the fan and the fan started WALLA on! I noticed that a lot of dust in there and that's probably the culprit first event hough I keep this laptop clean every day, this darn dust is sneaky and small. If you use a toothpick, make sure not to break anything especially the toothpick. last thing you want to do is cause more harm. Now that I think I don't remember when the last fan worked and if it wasn't for the message that popped up today I would not of the same notice I wasn't to hear the fan because last week I said "wow is not the substance of this portable super hot feeling", but I just thought that my fiance was simply playing games on the computer for too long and that's why he was hot. He never closes the computer off smh. in any case, I'm very happy I read this post of a person using the PIN to hair. That's what forums are all about. Help each other. I hope it works for you. Be gentle, try pushing the way fan propellers in clockwise. Use a flashlight to see if dust or anything like that is by the way to allow the fan to run its on. I blew in the vents, but it did have almost all of the dust of the road. All of these messages, it seems this is a common problem. Good luck

Satellite L505 - 10 X cooling fan does not work
Dear friends, good computer Toshiba Satellite L505 - 10 X Day.My laptop cooling fan does not work. The CPU temperature is not displayed in the application of PC health Monitor. Kindly guide me to solve this problem, cordially, Siva
Simply because the temperature is not mentioned in the Toshiba Health Monitor, it doesn't mean, that the cooling fan is not working properly.
You can hear fan running cooling?
The laptop is turned off unexpectedly? In my opinion if the cooling fan would not properly work, internal temperature should rise very quickly at a critical level... in this case that the laptop must close automatically...
But if the device does not turn off and if you are still able to use it properly, so I doubt that there is a problem with the cooling module.

Satellite Pro C650 - cooling fan does not work
My Satellite Pro C650 overheats and stops automatically within 20 minutes of leaving upwards. I checked the CPU fan and noticed that it does not turn upward, even if the laptop would become very hot. I tested the fan with a 9 volt battery and it works perfectly.
Can someone tell me exactly what the problem is? And how to solve it.
Thank you.
> Can someone tell me exactly what the problem is?
On this virtual path, no one can say with certainty what the problem is. We can only speculate what may be the problem.
Usually, cooling fan starts immediately after starting the laptop slows down and offers the optimum temperature of material. After reading your ad I didn t understand how it works. He turns and there is no sign of life?
Problem can be power.
Cooling fan will be controlled by sensors of temperature and activity depends on the temperature of the material but if your machine cooling fan does not work, I imagine that there is no electric power. What do you think?

Pavilion g7-1368dx "cooling fan does not work correctly.
Greetings. I have a HP Pavilion g7-1368dx laptop with Windows 7 I bought in June 2012, is no longer under warranty.
A few weeks ago he had a thermal cut-out once during use. After cooling, the laptop works very well for a few uses, but then it has started giving the boot warning message, "the system has detected that a cooling fan is not working properly," with an additional indication of the damage if the computer is used in this State.
I ordered a new fan and succeeded him, and I cleaned the fan grille in the process (although it wasn't very dirty), but I still get the same fan error message. I went to the HP website and saw the suggestion to do a "hard reset", so I did it, but the problem persists.
I saw another suggestion to try a BIOS update, but I thought that would not be desirable because the fan does not work. Suggest you go through with the attempt to update the BIOS anyway?
Is there something else I can try before ordering a new card system?
Thanks for your help.

Hello
I have a SP6100 and it keeps giving me an error message about the cooling fan does not. Then he tells me to stop immediately and runs very slowly. The fan come on, but after three or four short bursts it stops and the message appears.
Is it a mechanical problem with the fan? I took out the radiator and the fan, and it was clean and not sticky.
What is a system problem? The BIOS has recently been updated.
Should I just invest in a new cooling unit and if so where would I get one?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cooling fan does not work on Satellite Pro A300
Hello world
I was asked by a friend to repair their Satellite Pro A300, because their CPU cooling fan had stopped working even during the start of the POST and the laptop could overheat and shutdown. So I thought it might one of three things:
# Fan is obstructed by dust or dirt
# Rolling fan failed
# Fan power cable was looseSo I disassembled the laptop and cleaned the fan/radiator with compressed air and check the connection of the supply, which was solid, but this does not solve the problem, so I replaced the fan and the heatsink with another that I knew worked from the same model laptop that had a motherboard fault due to the bug of password to start random bios (out of warranty) but still no joy.
I'm starting to believe that the fan was perfectly fine rather motherboards temperature of the processor or the sensors that control the activation of the fan has failed.
Am I correct in thinking that it is essentially, irreparable without specialized tools and my friend will be content themselves to turn the system off each hourish or is there something else I forget? Thanks for any help.
Hello
I m not a technician, but for me, looks like the fan connector is working properly if you already replaced the fan and therefore, it would be necessary to replace the motherboard
That s all I can say about it having a look for second mainboard or laptop where you can get a motherboard cheap. Maybe it works. :)

Cooling fan does not work - how to remove Satellite L850
How you delete a L850 Satellite in order to get to the cooling fan and replace it. The cooling fan has become noisy and then stopped working, and now the laptop is turned off as it is too hot.
It is out of warranty now as well.
Hello
Replacement of the cooling fan is a fairly complicated procedure. Any laptop has to be disassembled, and as you probably know, it must be done by authorized personnel only.
Is the disassembly laptop procedure must be specific to avoid damage. Many plastic parts have a small-scale plastic and if you n t know how to delete some part can be broken. Any dismantling procedure is described in maintenance manuals, but this document is not a public document and cannot be downloaded.
What to say at this point? You can try to disassemble your machine, but you do this at your own risk. If you n t have experience with what I think this isn't a good idea.
You know someone who can help you with this?

My HP Pavilion g6 fan does not work.
I bought a HP Pavilion g6 2230tx a few months back and its cooling fan has stopped working.
It was working fine, but the problem started when I played Euro Truck Simulator 2 full settings. The cooling fan has been throwing a large amount of heat and the fan was moving quickly, but I continued to play. Later that day, when I turned on my laptop, it showed an error which was: "the system has detected that a cooling fan does not work correctly and continued operation can cause damage.
Fan system (90 b)'.
Then I turns off after 15 seconds.
My laptop is under warranty until 2016-06-16 [YYYY-MM-DD] and the Security category is "guarantee of the factory." {Deleted personal information} & product number is C9L64PA #ACJ. Now my question is that how much HP will take to repair or replace my laptop fan. Will it be free? ;-)
And I live in India.
Thanks in advance

Hello I have a laptop which is HP Pavilion series g and its cooling fan does not work. I get an error popping up whenever I start my laptop, saying that the cooling fan is not working properly, which can cause unexpected stops and damage to the computer. I'm not currently not under warranty anymore and I would like to solve this problem. If you can get a solution please help with this.
Probably, the only solution will be to replace fan. It's probably useful to have someone on site take a peek and diagnose for some. You can buy coins and replace it, but it's quite a job involved to replace this component. It is certainly not a mistake you want to ignore. If you run the computer without fan, you can very easily cause irreparable damage to the motherboard and processor.

According to the message that you posted, I suspect that this could be a hardware problem where in your message 'the system has detected that a cooling fan does not work properly' get. Satellite A200 - 19K - overheating/fan does not work
These 2-3 days, my Satellite A200 - 19 k (PSAECE) was himself cut and was not very hot. I installed SpeedFan, but it does detect any fans. In addition, the fan on the base of the machine is not working. Anyone has any ideas for a solution?
Any help is much apprieciated.
Thank youHello
In this case there is not one any magic solution. Overheating is a very serious problem for me. I see two possibilities here: either is dirty cooling grill and the laptop cannot be cooled correctly or there is a mechanical problem with cooling fan.
If you really think that cooling fan is not working properly please contact the authorized Service partner as soon as possible. I imagine that the laptop has guaranteed valid and if the cooling fan is defective it will be exchanged free of charge.
This is serious problem and please, do not try to do some experiments, but be sure that the hardware of the laptop is not defective.
