  HP solved the problem free of charge, including shipping in both directions and repair.

  It took ten days in total, and we used the laptop without a problem for about 10 days more.

  It seems that the hinges for laptop and the display case were entirely replaced, and no data has been lost.

  My son is thrilled to have his laptop in return, and to my eyes, HP just went through.

  I wouldn't hesitate to buy another HP product, although I confess in the hope that:

  (1) HP manufacuring no longer uses defective parts

  (2) HP treats everyone with this problem of hinge with the same care

  I have a Pavilion p6214y that I bought last November.  I recently bought a Wireless N network card D-Link PCI Express desktop computer and installed.  I managed to do it start and run perfectly, shortly after installation.  Suddenly, the monitor became all white and the computer was completely inadmissible.  I held the power button to turn off so I could reboot.  When I tried to reboot, the fans and lights that all will turn on, but there is nothing on the monitor.  This will be repeated for a few seconds (maybe 20 or more) and then closed for about 5 seconds and repeat.  I cannot even hold down the power button as he tries to restart to turn it off and must resort to unplug for a few seconds that it is inactive.  I checked on the motherboard and other components and see no signs of Burnout.  There was a little dust on the inside, so I carefully cleaned it as best I could.  I'm at a total loss for what is the problem.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  Hi, autocompletion changed a lot in TB31. Now, it no longer matches the equal strings, but it looks if the typed string is contained in one of your email addresses. It checks only the full name and email address, but also other areas. Also if you type several words all of the words are controlled separately. Unfortunately there is no way to change this behavior again.

  Unless you are abusing the iPod (i.e., a fall) it seems that you are just out of luck.

  For a later use of anyone with the same problem. I sent in the filing that it was still under warranty. It was a hardware problem. They replaced the mortherboard, UC and wireless card, as well as the HDMI port. It works perfectly now.

  Lenovo has been incredibly fast to solve the problem. I sent it to the depot for repair on a Saturday and it was back in my hands fixed on the following Wednesday. They paid for everything, shipping, pricing, etc. I am very impressed.

  You cannot discuss or talk on the phone with a professional Acer support if your SNID is listed as "out of warranty". You can will not receive a 3rd party that will help you for a fee. (very frustrating)
