  CS2 is not compatible with OS 10.7.5 (Lion) so it won't work. The latest version of Mac OS that works with CS2 is 10.6 (Snow Leopard).

  Are you sure, that the file saved to the desktop is an image?. The file name extension .m4v suggests it's a video. Try to double click on it. It should play. Part e the name of the name of the file will always be IMG, when you import from an iPhone, the file name extension is what counts.
