My iPhone 6 s deleted all my music

Hi guys

My iPhone 6s deleted all my music last week. Is there a way to get music, because now when I search the songs I had iTunes gives me the opportunity to buy again. I do not use the the iCloud, so I don't think its there.

Please help, thanks

Hello khanyilesp,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

If you need to re-download your purchased music, then please follow the steps below.

Download a song

You can redownload the songs on your iPhone or iPod touch, the iPad, Mac or PC. You can listen to the song already purchased on your Apple TV, but they download on your device.

On an iPhone or iPod touch

  1. Open the iTunes Store app.
  2. In the menu at the bottom of the screen, tap more.
  3. Tap purchase, tap music.
  4. Not touch on this iPhone or not on the iPod.
  5. Scroll to find the song you want to download, and then type it.
  6. Press the download icon to the right of the title. Your song downloads on your device.

Download your latest purchases

Take care.

You can (and should) get the free mp3tag: http://www.mp3tag.de/en/

Install mp3tag.  When you install, let it be added to the context menus (an option during installation).

Open mp3tag and in tools, Options, Tags, Mpeg do option Write ID3v2.3 ISO-8859-1. Those are tags favorite rocket, and once make you it by default, whenever you save tags in mp3tag you will get tags Fuze and respectful.

Your albums may not be labeled at all, or may be marked in ID3v1, who will not read the "rocket". So he goes to the title, if there is a title tag or file name if there are no tags.

You can now right click on an album folder and see mp3tag as an option to open it. When you click mp3tag, you'll see the files listed. Put them in order from top to bottom - you can try clicking on the header of the track-number or the name of the header file if they are 01-Track 1. If you can align them up and down, highlight all the and click Dial automatic tools Wizard with the option of leading zeros. Bingo: Track numbers 01, 02, 03, and they will play in the order.

Sometimes people put numbers to track on the file names and they list in alphabetical order by song title - not good. If the "rocket" Impossible to find track numbers and the name of the file is FirstSongTitle-01 (rather than 01-FirstSongTitle), the "rocket" will play them in alphabetical order by name of file: FirstSong, FifthSong, FourthSong, SecondSong, SixthSong, ThirdSong. Then you will have to put in one of the track numbers.

  • iPhone deleted all the music from the device

iPhone deleted all music device twice already. I was always away from home when this happens. First time, it happened a few months ago. Mobile data are on. What's wrong?

iTunes and iOS updated to the latest versions.

After the iPhone has been deleted and all music. Then Apple ask me to join Apple music, but I don't want to do that. I just listen to my music on my iPhone.

You have restored your phone before that?

Have you checked that Apple music is disabled in the settings/music?

To make sure that it is not software related, set the phone to the factory settings by following the steps described in this article:

  • I deleted ALL the music of the iPhone 6 and I still get the message saying storage ON PHONE is full - why? It shows 0 (zero) gig available - there is NO solution t this question - again! Anyone who responds to get my smile of approval.

Searched these forums for a while and all I see is frustration-someone ' one has a slution to this ongoing problem, I tried the suggestion of wiping out cloud & synchronization still but no solution. Almost removed all applications, but always said "iPhone full storage" and in places-0 (zero) bytes of available storage. So many people have this problem, so I thought I would make a second time to a point - I tried of you "recently deleted" photos as well but - even managed to remove the u2 album that no one seems to want to

The same way you sync music to the iPhone. Connect the device to the computer and iTunes. Select the iPhone and go to the music tab. From there on, remove the check mark for the synchronization of music and perform a HotSync. That will remove the music.

  • iPhone delete all iTunes except album U2 free music!

I had an iPhone 6s for 3 months with no problems.  Last night I connected my iPhone to my iMac to load all night, like I always do.  In the morning, 99 + % of all my music on the iPhone has been deleted.  (It was still on my iMac, and I was able to restore everything, it took 8 hours to do, since there are about 90 GB of music).  With almost 10,000 songs in my music library (which were on the iPhone), the * only * DO NOT deleted songs were 10 titles I bought from iTunes, free U2 album that Apple offered increasingly (and why they are so *).  (I think the U2 album came pre-installed on the phone, if I remember, but I finally deleted it previously).

A friend suggested I look to see how the phone is synchronized to the iMac and, of course, the box that says "sync any iTunes library" was NOT checked.  (Of course, I had checked at the origin of this box, which is how I got my entire library to transfer in the first place.  "And I have ever returned to this screen since then.)  So, I checked this box once again and re-installed the entire library.

    So, a few questions:

    1. it happened to someone else?

    2. are these possible clues to anyone:

    a. only songs not deleted were those purchased through iTunes (Yes, only 10 of the 10,000).

    b. free U2 album mysteriously reappeared.

    c. Despite 'losing' nearly 90 GB of music from iPhone, the bar capacity (that thing at the bottom that shows how much storage is available on your iPhone, and how much is used by music, photos, etc.) remained unchanged.  In other words, even if there were now only 20 songs on the phone, he always says that the music was about 85 GB of space (and the phone had about 32 GB of free space, as he did before all the songs have disappeared).

All very strange to me.  Thanks to all those who might have some constructive thoughts on this.

    1. no doubt.  Not for me.

    2 - Yes.

For a and b - I do not think that these remaining songs were actually stored ON the iPhone at this time there.  They are your songs purchased (including the U2 album which is considered to be a purchase).  You probably saw them on the iPhone since Apple servers ("iCloud").  It's the same thing as being able to see purchased TV shows and movies (if you have) on your iPhone and play them in streaming from Apple servers.  That's why you have not seen these '10 in 10,000' songs, because they are items purchased, and you have the advantage of being able to listen to them without the files stored on your iPhone.

C - likely cause is corruption of data on the iPhone store.  For some reason, the song files have been is most recognized by as records of songs by the on-board iPhone software.  The songs you've seen (after the problem) were not saved on the iPhone; they have been seen since the Apple servers because they are purchased items.  You can do a restore on the iPhone via iTunes, in case there is still corruption of data.

Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod settings - Apple Support

After the restoration, use the latest iPhone backup you must leave before the problem.  Update the applications according to the needs.  Then, sync your music library.

  • iPhone delete all music and not resync.

So, yesterday, in the middle of listening to my music was gone. Each song... disappeared. This has happened about 20 minutes after I had downloaded a new song on iTunes without any problems. It was quite irritating, but I knew I had everything on my computer at home so I was not terribly concerned.

Fast forward to today ' hui - my phone will NOT sync. I use the latest versions of iTunes and the iPhone software, and I have an iPhone of 128 GB 6 s. iTunes recognize my phone when I plug it in, and it won't let me not even press the button 'sync '. He says that it syncs and looking at the list of music on my computer, says that all of my songs are on the device. The storage on the device indicates 0 songs, however, and none can actually be played on my phone.

Apple music and game are disabled on ALL my devices - I never even signed up for either.

I have contacted Apple Support three times now and have received a generic response telling me to resynchronization or have not received a response at all.

Anyone who has had this problem has a solution? I don't want to lose all my music, and the idea to leave my old phone just to get music is unpleasant.

It seems to me that something has been corrupted on your phone.  First thing to try is a reboot or a forced reboot:

Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple Support

You may already have done and probably won't help, but it is simple and shouldn't hurt either.  The next thing on the list would be a restoration:

Restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support

Since you have your music on your computer, you should be able to then synchronize your music and apps on your phone.  Or download previous purchases:

Music app on iPhone is configured to not use cellular data for download or streaming (settings/music)

When I put the phone in Airplane Mode, I'm still able to play music from iPhone music application.

It's annoying, because when I move the phone via the USB port to my car, he turns the radio and he started playing the first 13 songs that are 'on' the iPhone.

In addition, as a complaint aside, in-app music, I put my music to only display available offline downloaded music, it shows all the music I have purchased through iTunes. A lot of songs more than the 13 reported that on my iPhone.

  • All the music removed from the iPhone

I was listening to music on my phone today when he stopped playing. Looking at my library, all my music not downloaded from iTunes has been removed from my phone. I do not press anything and have no idea of what has past. Does anyone else have this problem? Advice?

First thing to try is to restart or force reboot your device (nothing will be lost):

Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple Support

If this doesn't help, given that not downloaded from iTunes music has been lost - try to download previous purchases:

Download your purchases past - Apple Support

You can also try to unsync/delete and re-sync your music from iTunes.  To remove all music go to settings > general > use > storage > storage management > music > tap Edit in the top-right, then press the sign less than all music.

If none of these suggestions help, then you may need to reset your device and restore from a backup.

After that the most recent iTunes updated 12.4.2.4 (in Windows 10) and iPhone upgrade to iOS 9.3.3 iTunes sync all my music. A few pieces purchased don't sync and some tunes downloaded from compact discs, which were in iTunes, or does not synchronize completely disappeared from my list of tunes. Even after downloading these tunes again, some are still missing on my iPhone. This happened also with the latest versions of iTunes and iOS.

I followed the suggestions I found on a forum of Apple support, but they did not work. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

If it is missing from your media library see library iTunes empty/corrupted after upgrade/crash.

If the synchronization is not copying the right content on then these steps should help:

    1. Backup device.
    2. Restoration as a new device.
    3. Restore the backup that you made earlier.

From your post, it seems you deleted all your photos and removed the recently deleted photos thinking that they would still be in the cloud.

Looks like you could possibly use iCloud photo library. If you take a look at this article: iCloud Photo library FAQ - Apple Support

If you have active iCloud photo library photos are synced to all your devices include in iCloud. If you delete a photo off of one device, it is deleted on all devices, including in iCloud.
