    I have a few albums that are separate in iTunes. I checked and verified that the title of the album, artist, genre, date of the album, etc. are exactly the same in both. Yet the albums will not merge. Boards other than the 'regular checkup to see that everything is consistent. I did this at the point of copy and paste from one to the other to make sure that everything is the same (except the title of the song, of course).

    Select all the tracks on the album and get info (command + I, or right-click), add any letter, say X, one of the main fields (artist, album artist or album name), then save the changes. If all of the other Flickr photos, then just repeat Get Info and delete the extra letter.

    It seems that the fact to change these areas of iTunes to update tag information, which in turn solves the problem of forces.

    Please try these two steps, if they don't work, I'll post the link on how to call the HP technical support, because this is a very new computer.

    2 update the PC: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ca/windows-8/restore-refresh-reset-pc as described in the Microsoft steps below:

    Refresh your PC without affecting your files

    If your PC does not perform as in the past, and you don't know why, you can refresh your PC without delete all of your personal files or change your settings.

    Note

    • If you have upgraded your PC from Windows 8 to 8.1 of Windows and your PC has a partition recovery from Windows 8, refresh your PC will restore Windows 8. You must upgrade to Windows 8.1 once the update is complete.

    This sounds like a file in your Firefox profile may be damaged or not valid. To check if this is the case, you will need to create a secondary Firefox profile and test to see if you can open Firefox with this profile.

    This can be done using the Manager of profiles for Firefox which can be downloaded from Mozilla's FTP server. There is no installation required, the program is contained in a ZIP file. Simply extract the ZIP file and run the executable file inside.

    I had my iPod Classic (160GB) for about six years. I received as a Christmas gift in 2010. For the last two days, the "lock" symbol was flicker on and out, even when the switch is moved to the off position. I went to put it on today and it wouldn't respond. I plugged my headphones and the screen lit to show me the lock symbol was done again. I tried to reset the iPod, tried to restore and toggled the switch locking on and off tension several times but nothing does. I think I just need to take it into Apple and see if they can fix it or if I need to go and resign myself to the idea that I need to invest in a new iPod. Any ideas?

    Looks like you might need a new headphone jack and hold together switch. You could do it yourself or use a third party service center.
