My iPod has a virus / has it been hacked?

Someone, I think my brother, watching * on my iPod when I left it on accidentally. A few days later, I'm one of these special notifications. You know how if there is a new software update one of these fancy blue boxes will pop up saying that there is a new update? It was one of the people and he says that you have won an iPhone free 6. OK, it was probably a fake, but I went on it anyway. At first I thought it was legitimate cause he says Apple.com in the address bar, but it was not www.apple.com. Anyway, half the info I gave was wrong. Age, sex, address or email maybe I don't remember. Then it asks card number and I just completed with random numbers or something. I thought everything was cool later. But it wasn't cause I also downloaded a few applications on the online store it says to download, but they were common apps that everyone uses. Also, I visited a few sites, they said to visit I think. in any case, a month later, I still receive one of these special blue boxes saying I won an iPhone 6 and $ 1 million. I ignored him this time. Then a week later or so I cold when my iPod started playing my music. But I never turned on my music... So I did a reset and deleted all my settings and data using the option in the settings. But today a kid I know at school, said these boxes may have been used by Apple and that if I was getting messages in the blue box then I mustve been hacked and the reset, I did would not have helped. So my question is, am I hacked / have a virus. If so, how can I get rid of him. I've heard many people say that iPods can / are not hacked, but let's be honest, anything can be hacked if you have the necessary skills. Look at the Jennifer Lawrence, ariana large and all these other actresses who got their pirate icloud. OK viruses can be put on an iPod. Answer please tell me if I got hacked / have spyware or a virus and if so how to remove it. Thank you!

If you have not jailbroken your iPod, it doesn't have a virus.

You should never click on these sites.  Ignore them.

Have an end 2012 27 "iMac, OS X 10.9.5, 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1600 MHZ DDR3 & have no idea what that means I'm technically disadvantaged. I get e-mails, mainly from some places that I buy, like Sears, Best Buy, etc., that contain strange characters & symbols in the welcome message that I do not open. I talked to the Geek Squad at best buy and was informed that a person may have gotten in my computer. No no proposed solution. Last month, my credit card has been hacked. I'm trying to find out if there is a connection. What should I do to make sure that my computer has not been violated & is always so sure that Apple can do in these difficult times.

    Thank you, Roger

As usual, the Geek Squad is incorrect. If you get suspicious emails then contact your provider of Internet Service (ISP) and ask for help. If you tend to use the same password for many of your accounts, including your email address and it is fairly easy to understand, then consider changing to a password is more enigmatic, something like * $Merp78@#. A good thing to do is to create separate passwords for each account, and then use a tool such as 1Password to manage all your passwords.

Whatever you do, NEVER install any antivirus, cleaning or any other third party on your Mac maintenance utility. Not only are they 100% worthless they can create havoc for OS X users. If you currently have one of these types of utilities installed please uninstall immediately in accordance with the instructions of developers.

your Mac OS X partition has not been hacked, unless someone has come to your home or place of business and physically sitting in front of your computer and it hacked. What behavior you see that makes you think you have been hacked that slow? Are you running any 'holder', 'cleaner', ' Mac AV' or any network utility outside of what is provided by Apple OS 10.11? If so remove them, remove them from your system and if you paid for any of them claim your money.

My email has been hacked and used to send Spam. I have to perform a virus check, or simply change the password?

Do not install or run an anti virus app.

How do you know that your email has been "hacked"? It is a common practice for spammers to forge an envoy from the e-mail address. It may be that your email address has been misused. There's nothing to do if this is the case for you. The spammer will soon pass and usurp another email address.

It's a good idea to immediately change your password by email if someone would actually managed to access your e-mail account.

What is your system brand and model?

What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?
Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, MSE, Comodo, etc..
What is the issue that you are experiencing that you think that the system restore will be remedied (or you are just convenient)?  System Restore is not a time machine, but of course, this should work if you think you need.
Some tools Anti Virus 'protect' your system so that they will not allow a restore of the system work properly.

For example, if you use Norton/Symantec products, you will see a message like this:
Restoration incomplete. Your computer cannot be restored...
It is also a popular Symantec problem (well, I'll be polite and call an "undocumented feature"...), they wrote an article about it:
According to what you use for malware protection, you may need to disable the product temporarily, do the system restore and then turn the products light up again when the system restore is complete.
Sometimes you need start your system in Mode safe and so that your protection programs are not running, and then do the system restore.  Tips from Microsoft in some of their articles that if the system restore does not restore your computer, start in Safe Mode, and then run the system restore.  It works for some configurations.
System Restore is sometimes so afflicted or Restore Points are suspicious, the best solution is to reinstall your system restore.  This will remove the old Restore Points, but sometimes it's the only way to fix a broken system restore.  You don't have to reinstall XP, only the part of system restore.
That can leave you with your problem of unspecified origin that you hope the system restore will fix (using a system restore is usually not equivalent to fixing the problem though).
Give these ideas some consideration if they apply to you.
Sometimes malicious will afflict your system restore to prevent you to find and remove malware.  It would much rather you trick into thinking that you need to repair or reinstall your XP when it is not necessary.
No matter what you use for protection against malware, I do so and then only begin to solve any problems:
Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs can solve any problems:
