Hi mahroch,
The first thing to do to solve this problem would be to run printing HP and doctor Scan. It is a quick and simple tool that diagnoses and solves many problems of printing, scanning and connectivity. See the following link for more information on downloading, installing and running this tool:
Let me know if this solves the problem, and if not, what the tool provides.

HP Solution Center has stopped working
Product model: CB683A
Product name: HP Deskjet F2280 all-in-One Printer
PrinterSerial number: CN88E4S2GXWindows XP SP3
This has been working well up until now. Now when I click on the HP Solution Center nothing happens. In Windows Task manager it is a process present hpqdirec.exe, but nothing appears on one of my two monitors. I left HP update to update all the software, but it made no difference.
Following the suggestion of the FAQ, I went to Windows Paint and did a scan 'from scanner or camera"and access to the printer and scanned ok.
So why this request is no longer appear?
If you are able to analyze correctly, you will have a problem with Adobe Flash. Flash is required to operate the HP Solution Center. There are more details in this thread if you are interested:
But to summarize, please try to uninstall and reinstall Adobe flash player via Internet Explorer. You can get Adobe flash player here:

OfficeJet J4680: HP Solution Center has stopped working with Windows 10
From today, after the last version 10 of Windows Update to the HP Solution Center software won't start/open. After clicking to open, there is a beep and nothing. No dialogue error or indication that something does not, but the program does not start.
He had worked all the way up through yesterday with the latest versions of the Solution Center and Windows 10 installed. The only change was an update today which says that it was just an update to the flash player security.
I uninstalled and reinstalled twice, checked to make sure that my private network settings were OK, all to nothing done. I need it to scan documents.
Anyone with ideas?
There is a problem with the last Windows security update. It disables some flash programs, including the HP Solutions Center uses to load.
Here's a solution:
Enter "View installed updates" in the search bar of Windows. It will show you an option in Control Panel.
Click the appropriate option.
Select the "Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB3132372)" and an uninstall option will appear next to the drop-down list to organize.
Click on uninstall and work through all the guests.
Once uninstalled, the HP Solution Center will work.

HP Solution Center: HP Solution Center has stopped working
I have a HP Officejet 4500 all in one printer, copier, scanner, fax machine. When I first added the printer to my HP touch computer, everything was fine. After that I have upgraded to Windows 10, things are complicated. I used the HP Solution Center software for my scanner. It worked yesterday, but does not work today. I uninstalled the software and reinstalled, but now the scanner part does not appear in my devices and Solution Center still does not work. I can scan from the buttons on the front of the machine, but I don't get the opportunity to change it before the scan is saved. More embarrassing, and I hope that I don't have to buy a printer that is compatible Windows 10. No simple solution out there? I saw some other suggestions for similar problems, and they require a list of steps that I'm not comfortable trying on my own.
Found the solution. See that the other thread on this forum titled "Center of Solution does not work since the upgrade to Windows 10. You should go to Windows Update and uninstall the security update 29/12/15, Microsoft pushed the 29/12. Solution Center and then charge again.

Solution Center: Solution Center has stopped working
I use Solution Center several times a week to scan documents. Today the product would not be open to the top. When I tried, the main screen would show a moment and then disappear and the computer would "Ding". I uninstalled the product and reinstalled from the web. Installation seems to be okay and my HP Solution Center icon appeared. However when I try to start the application the computer 'Bumps' and nothing happens. As a side note, I was on Windows 10 for a few months.

Original title: WMC no longer works after update of August 10
Windows Media Center has stopped working after installation of my Windows 7 Professional pc all 11 updates gave me on August 11, 2010. I used system restore to the day before the updates, and install them individually. The first 9 no trouble with WMC. But the IE8 KB982664 for Windows 7 compatibility view list caused my action center to report that I needed to check the undeclared solutions to problems. WMC would still start. But after installing KB983590 .NET framework 3.5.1 for Windows 7 x 86, WMC has stopped working.
After you uninstall update 2 above WMC would still not start.
After using the system again restore forward updates, I installed the other 9 updated with, so far, no problem with WMC.
New installation of Windows 7 Pro.
V.1.0.1963.0 MSE completely up to date. [have not installed the latest beta version due to this problem]
