My laptop (Dell Inspiron only 3 months old) is displayed on an external monitor, but not on the laptop screen. I am running Windows 7.
My laptop (Dell Inspiron only 3 months old) is displayed on an external monitor, but not on the laptop screen. I am running Windows 7. It was running and display very well last night. When I turned on this morning the monitor lit up but show just a gray-white screen and no office. When I attached an external monitor, I could see desktop and all other programs and Windows 7 routines seem to work very well.
Press the Windows logo key and the p key, and then set up the PC to display on the built-in monitor only cycle through with the arrow key. You can make this Store if you want - key Windows-p, right arrow once, paused for a few seconds & the laptop monitor should then appear normally.
You can do so at the end of each session using the external display while you are ready for the use of the laptop on its own later.

My laptop with Windows 7 (64-bit) can not see the other desktop PC running Windows XP via a wireless connection, except if it is plugged into my laptop so only I can see them on the network.
I checked all the working groups to ensure that all are the same.However, when my laptop into Wi - Fi, I could see the other wired desktop PC by specifying the network path in "search programs and files" to the start menu in the Windows 7 laptop, I was able to add network folder by specifying the drive letter for the connection and file I want to connect via a right click on the network to connect a network drive...
Then, finally I can access any other desktop pc wired to shared folder via the Wi - Fi by this method.
But I still don't see them on eventhrough network I can access by this method. Please help me solve this problem.

As the laptop is barely a month old and a 1/2, it is under warranty.
Communicate with the computer laptop manufacturer A.S.A.P. and make a claim.
Make a claim because it may be the precursor of future problems with your laptop and you want this connected with the manufacturer.

A60: Work of the Audio Conference on laptop but not on the car radio CD/home
Hello
I tried a number of blank disc CD - R and CD - RW, but none of them work with record Sonic to burn music from an audio disc on a blank CD. Music plays on laptop, but not in the CD drive or the car home. Anyone know what the problem is. Really is tired of the use of different brands. nothing works!Hello
You burned the CD and this CD works fine on your laptop, but it of not possible to play in the drive of the car and on your cd player. Is this good?
Well, in this case there no problems with your laptop.
I guess that the other players cannot read the CD because they don t supports the support or the audio file format.
Which audio format you used and you burn music from the original CD? -

TRY TO UPGRADE TO WINDOWS 7 BUT C: DRIVE FULL DESPITE THE REMOVAL OF ALL UNNECESSARY PROGRAMS
I'm trying to upgrade to windows 7 Vista but not like the 40 GB c: partition has only 3 GB free. Removed all unnecessary programs, etc. If you only really have Vista on C: drive but still showing 37GB used. Any ideas how I can release another 6 GB of free space.
Tahnks a lotI hate to say it, but it would be a great time for a bigger hard drive. While 40 GB meets at least for installation you really need more for in-place-upgrading a system using 37 GB. Setup needs space for temporary files, its own temporary relocation, etc.

My HP officejet pro 8500 has more - will print from my laptop, but not by the desk top
It prints my laptop downstairs, but not from the Office superior or smart phone. There is a Wi - Fi connection. I tried the diagnostic tests and does not issue?
When was the last time the devices were power cycled?
I recommend an oil change of the full power of the system:
Unplug the router when turned on
* Wait 30 seconds
* Connect Router and wait for it to reboot completely
* Reboot the computer after the powers of the router to the top
Unplug the printer when turned on
Disconnect the other end of the power cord from the wall outlet
* Wait 30 seconds
* Plug the printer back to
Try to print now that everything has been updated. If the unit still does not print, then get the IP address of the printer. This can be achieved in the Setup Menu > wireless Menu. Check the IP address which seeks the printing software.
* Click Start menu on PC
* Select all programs
* Select the HP folder
* Select the folder for the HP Officejet Pro 8500 a A910 series
* Select update the IP address
Also check the information contained in the document located here. Let me know how it goes.

I wonder if you can help me please?
I have problems with my satellite internet access on my laptop wireless. He beautifully connects to the router and the signal is excellent. However, I'm unable to connect to the internet. I can use the laptop first thing in the morning because it connects right away, but I would say that 95% of the day I can't use it at all. Sometimes it will work later in the evening. I learned this could be due to the intensity of the signal and that some suppliers to fall during the day. My desk top connects perfectly (if the weather permits it) but is not on the wireless network. I had no problem with my laptop when I used my previous service provider. It becomes more frustrating that the inability to use the internet visited my lap top unnecessary. I can't use it on my neighbors wireless network no problem at all but they we internet different provider. Can you please help because I don't know why it works first thing in the morning and sometimes late at night, but not during the day? No matter where the lap top is the first thing in the morning, it will work even if it is forty feet away. I can sit during the day with my phone right by my router and it still not connect to internet even though the router signal strength is excellent and desktop is on the internet. Any help would be great, because it leads me into the wall! I am using WIndows 7 on my lap top from acer.
Kind regards
Julie
I would like to thank everyone for their help with my question. I can tell you now that I have it solved and I'm pretty embarrassed to say the least. Following a change of internet service provider, I put a cable into the wrong port on the router... silly me! It works perfectly now. Thank you once again.

The Adobe Desktop installation program will not load the app screen tab, all I see is the loading icon and runs continuously without ever loading. All the other tabs seem to load without any delay, only the app tab does not load. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the software, rebooted a couple of times and tried to activate the download of the Premier Pro via the website, but it still doesn't load in the desktop application.
This solved the problem for me:

Battery not charging - Edge 15 0301 - CTO only 18 months old
15 0301 - CTO edge
Sony-made battery:
made on 12-27-2010
First opportunity 2011-01
FRN P/N 42T 4755
Firmware 3f98-0004-0160-0130
Power Manager 6.32
- This PC only used about once a week, a total likely that about 300 hours in 18 months since
- Always run with the AC adapter is plugged (except when sometimes forgotten)
- Battery indicator had been max 98% for the past two months, but he was charging to 98% ok
- Adapter works ok, if the battery is inserted
- If the power is disconnected, the battery will discharge at normal speed (now up to 77%)
- However, the battery is not at all - it has blocked 77% according to the meter
- Manager to be able to say 'No activity' what should be charging the battery
- Nothing happens when I try to perform the reset of battery meter, (is it because he can't do the 100% load cycle?), just 77%
- If I leave the power adapter disconnected, the battery drops 3 to 4% then the PC bleeps, said that the battery is critically low (although at 77%!) and goes to sleep or whatever
- the FRN P/N 42 T 4755, it's what's on the battery in power manager - so it's not one of the listed Fox here http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/diagnose-and-fix/detail.page?DocID=HT003431#battery I did not this
- Uninstalling drivers ACPI and restart battery makes no difference
He has all the symptoms of a failed battery (which is very disappointing given the low age and use - well I realize that little used does not facilitate the life); but before replacing the battery, is there something else to try?
I don't want to go on a wild goose chase, try I don't know how many possible solutions, if the battery has not really...
Any ideas gratefully received.
This method has solved my problem, I can recommend it!

Hello
If you bought the DVD of Windows 7 with the license, and it's a retail license, Yes, you can transfer it to another computer.
OEM, pre-installed Dell, HP, etc. as well as Microsoft OEM System Builders licenses are non-transferable to another computer. They are tied to the computer first they are installed on the.
Retail licenses are transferable. Remember that a single installation is allowed at a time.
You may need to do a phone Activation when you reinstall on another computer.
