I checked the specifications of your laptop on the Web from Toshiba site and it has the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD graphics card.

    3. save in a profile and apply the changes.

My problem is that when I try to play some games that I have the screen goes black and I have to do a forced restart using the power button. There are no other noise running in the background, and Ctrl alt del does not work either.

Is or has anyone else suffered from this problem and if so how they remedy? I'll try to re-installthe drivers when I get home this morning, but I can't think of anything that could be the cause of the problem...

    Hello

Which disc you used to reinstall Windows?

Normally, if you use the all Toshiba Recovery disk should work fine after that. These parameters are pre-tested by Toshiba.

In addition, you can try to clean your laptop using a jet of compressed air. This could blow the dust of fans cooling and, therefore, it of not necessary to disassemble the laptop.

    Hello

To help you, we will need files DMP to analyze what exactly happened at the time of the accident, etc.

If you don't know where the DMP files, here's how to get to them:
    1. go to the Windows\Minidump folder.
2 copy all the DMP files in the Minidump folder on your desktop and zip then those files.
3 download the zip containing the files DMP to Skydrive or a Web hosting of your choice and paste in your answer.

If you plan to use Skydrive, but do not know how to download it, please see the following:
    http://www.WikiHow.com/use-SkyDrive

Please note that all "cleaner" such as TuneUp Utilities, CCleaner, etc., default will remove files DMP when using because of their place too.

If your computer doesn't generate DMP files, follow these steps:

    1. start > type systemroot which should show the Windows folder, click it. Once inside this folder, make sure there is a Minidump folder created. If not, CTRL-SHIFT-N to create a new folder and name it Minidump.

    2. Windows key + key Pause. This should appear in the system. Click Advanced on the left system settings > advanced > performance > settings > advanced > make sure there is a check mark for "manage automatically the size of pagefile for all readers."

    3. Windows key + key Pause. This should appear in the system. Click Advanced on the left system settings > advanced > startup and Recovery > settings > failure > ensure there is a check mark next to "Write an event to the system log" > make sure that "automatically reboot" is unchecked.

Ensure that the partial memory image is turned on and make sure the path is % SystemRoot%\Minidump.

    4. check that the viewers is ENABLED:

Start > Search > type services.msc > on the name tab, search for Windows Error Reporting Service > if the service status is not started, then right-click and select start. Also to ensure that, under Startup Type set to automatic rather than manual. You can do this by right click, select properties and under general selection on 'Automatic' startup type and then click on apply.

If you can not get into normal mode to do this, please do so via Safe Mode.

    Kind regards

    Patrick

  • When you try to play games online... Games Yahoo, pogo and so on... After you connect and choose the game, I come back to my office

    Help, please

    Hi sal4469,

    (1) is the issue only when you play online or are you experiencing similar problem when you surf the internet as well?

    (2) do you mean to say that the page Internet Explorer (IE) reduces to a minimum on the desk or page closes itself to show the desktop?

My first suggestion would be to uninstall the current flash player if you have one from the link below.

    http://kb2.Adobe.com/CPS/141/tn_14157.html

    Once you are done with the flash player uninstall, reinstall the same from the link below;

    http://get.Adobe.com/flashplayer/

You can also run Internet Explorer in No - Add mode and see if it makes a difference that certain claims of users have experienced the same problem due to some add-ons.

To determine if the error is caused by an add-on, run Internet Explorer in "no Add-ons" mode To do this, follow these steps:

    1. click on start and type Internet Explorer in the box to start the search.

    2. click on Internet Explorer (No Add-ons). Internet Explorer opens without Add-ons, toolbars, or plug-ins.

Test Internet Explorer to verify that it works correctly.

If it works fine, then it might be some add-ons causing the blocking of Internet Explorer. Follow the method below to solve the problem.

Step 2: Use Manage Add-ons to determine which add-on is causing the problem

Use the tool of management of Add-ons in Internet Explorer to individually disable each add-on to determine which add-on is causing errors. To do this, follow these steps:

    Internet explore 8

    1. open Internet Explorer 8.

    2. click on tools and then click on Manage Add-ons.

    3. in the drop-down view menu, select all add-ons to display all the modules that are installed on the computer.

    4. for each element in this list, select the add-on, and then click Disable in the information window.

    5. When you have disabled all the items in this list, click OK.

    6. exit and then restart Internet Explorer.

    7. If the problems do not recur, repeat steps 1 to 3.

    8. click on activate for a simple add-on.

    9. Repeat steps 6 through 8 until you determine which add-on causes errors occur.

After you have used this process to determine which add-on causes errors, you can disable this add-on. Or, you can uninstall the software that installs the add-on. We also recommend that you contact the software vendor that provided the add-on for additional troubleshooting and support.

For more information on the above steps, you can access the link below. You can also try the other steps in the link below.

Let me know if that fixed the issue.

    Hello

I understand you very well. For me it s a shock if 90 IE Windows would appear on my small laptop screen. SHOUT OUT! : O

However, have you installed any 3rd party applications that can open the windows?

I think that this is not a normal state of the system and if it appears the days of view therefore, you should try roll back BONE to the beginning.

In addition, you can try to check in the MSCONFIG what background process runs on the operating system. If there are some very strange processes you must turn it off and you must remove the Autorun.
