  • Wallpaper base of Windows Vista has been lost

My Red Cardinal bird Desktop background has been lost and I want to. I don't know what happened to this wallpaper.

    Hi CU Agent,.

If this comes to pass, try a restore of the system to a point BEFORE the problem started.  Here is the procedure: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/76905-system-restore-how.html.  Don't forget to check the box to show more than 5 days of restore points.  If the first attempt fails, then try an earlier point or two.  NOTE: You will need to re-install any software and updates that you have installed and uninstall any software that you have removed between now and the point of restoration, but you can use Windows Update for updates.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

    Original title: Blu - Ray

My computer can read blu - ray, but when I try to play one, it says "Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD. The disk has been created in a way that does not support the player. "How should I do?

    Hello

The Blu - ray disc format is not supported in Windows Media Player. To play a Blu - ray Disc, you must use a non-Microsoft program that supports playback of Blu ray and a device that can play Blu ray discs.

  • Windows updates have been loaded last night no idea those who. Now my computer does not restart. I can't restart in safe mode. I can't reboot with the original disc from the manufacturer. I have Vista OS with a Dell laptop inspiron 1720.

I have the page that says that Windows does not load the last time and you have the choice between about 4 ways to load. Not the work.
I tried the dell disk and who does not. All this just goes back to safe mode page.

  • Error 6 B 7 Windows has encountered an unknown error when you try to install the Office Live update 1.5 on the House system top of range of Vista SP2 64 bit with Office 2007 is installed.

On a m950y of HP with AMD Phenom Quad Core processor 2.4 GHz, 8 GB of RAM, lots of available hard disk space, accepted the software license agreement. Can you tell me what's happening, if this should be fixed, and how it can be fixed?

    Mike-

UH! After posting the added information in my last post, I have acted on an intuition, uninstalled, Office Live 1.5 from the Control Panel, rebooted, reinstalled and everything went well.

So I guess there's a glitch somewhere where Windows Live Update thought I needed the upgrade while in fact I have not, and he is involved in a problem that cannot be resolved.

    Thank you for your help.

  • Windows Vista Home Premium - problem "task manager has been disabled by your administrator".

    Nice day

I had problems with my task manager (I use the operating system "Windows Vista Home Premium"). Evertime I try to access the program, he returns with "task manager has been disabled by your administrator". I used different tools to remove malware and got rid of a lot of problems but still can not in Task Manager.

I created a new user with administrator account and logged on it and had no problem until my 'Task Manager' program open, but when I went back to my origional administrator account the same problem occurred.

Why can I get to "Task Manager" in my new account administrator and not the former?
I still have malware in the old account or do I go into my registry and restore something?

I am at a loss, and any help would be appreciated. I'm worried that I can always have some kind of malware that prevents me to access my task manager in my old account.

Please give step by step instructions because I am not computer savvy computer even when it comes to fixing the problems of this kind.

    Thanks in advance.

  • in any case to recover a drive that has been lost by updating in a dell windows 2000 xp with plent of memeory and space left

Or how and what I can download a driver for a USB system.

updated the computer and then eluding to lose a drive and drivers card sound you mention.

audio drivers can be downloaded directly to the computer via its internet connection.  is not clear why you want to use a usb key.

you mentioned something about losing a 'drive '.  can you explain what "drive" and what she had on her?

Sometimes, dell also has updates for its computers that can be downloaded and installed, such as microsoft updates.

However, you will need to go to dell and pull the top of your Web page the computer models with all set to day, drivers, patches, fixes published software since the computer was transported out of the factory.

what you can do before you go to the site of dell for the updates, is to run a system restore on the computer which can abusive, made changes that microsoft updates.

then see if the system goes back to normal eventually.

  • How can I get a license key for an Express upgrade that has been lost in the Digital Locker service?

I bought a Vista Ultimate Anytime Upgrade from MS Anytime Upgrade site in 2007. I now need to reinstall after a crash of the PC. However, while I still have the DVD can't get the license key. When I checked on the order confirmation emails, there is a "Digital locker" link for me to recover when necessary - that's why I the have not kept. But when I now try the link there is broken, and browsing the web, it seems that the Digital Locker service no longer exists, so as it is I have no spare key while it is a legitimate purchase?

I tried to find someone at MS to provide me with a new key - it's a legitimate purchase, fee, directly from a web site of MS, but so far no one has been willing to help. Anyone know who I can contact to get this resolved please?

    Thanks in advance

Hello again once again not good it is the message that I'm getting ideas?  Thank you, Rob

    Hello husa58,

Equip your Vista OS dvd, see below:

To help resolve this problem, use the tool (SFC.exe) System File Checker to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click principally made programs, Accessories, right-click guest, and then click run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow.
    2. Type the following command and press ENTER: sfc/scannow (Yes there is a space after sfc) the command sfc/scannow. analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

Hope this helps you. Let us know anyway. Make it a great day!
