  I have a 2015 13 "Macbook Pro, that will not start at all. Last night I came back after a day holiday and powered to the top of my Macbook for the first time in two weeks. The battery level was around 25%, so I plugged the magsafe and did some navigation / watching Youtube. I noticed the GET a little slow mac and a youtube video stutter a bit, but it was late so I was not too concerned and put the Mac to sleep mode by closing the lid.

  This morning, after waking up, I noticed that the magsafe light was still orange, which seemed strange to me as he did pay for one night for a good 10 hours.   I spoke to Apple support, who say it could be the battery and take it to an Apple store. My most close is a 150 miles round trip, and there is no reserves for the next 8 days. I'm sure this will be a hardware problem, but everyone does not accept that it is likely to be the battery? I did have problems with the battery before it and the charge went really well. Would not the Mac boot always if there was a problem with the battery while it is still plugged into the mains?

  There could be several reasons why your macbook pro turns on.  Just throw the grounds up into the air and choose one.

• Bootcamp 6 on Macbook Pro 2015 does not work

  I just bought a 13 "Macbook Pro retina 2015 and I try to use bootcamp version 6 to partition the 512 GB SSD 2 x 250 GB drives and one for Macintosh HD for Windows 10 but bootcamp fails every time.

  I start the bootcamp assistant and the first screen's INTRODUCTION that gives just the info about backup etc.

  I then select continue and get a second screen asking for the path to the iso file of Windows and what size I want the partitions I divide also (250 GB to 250 GB for Windows and OSX.

  I then press install and it takes about 1.5 hours to partition the drive and download the Windows support files - SO FAR SO GOOD.

  Macbook Pro then restarts and that's it - I am left with a blank screen and all I can do is, turn off and on.

  When I look at the SSD then I see it has been partitioned to 250 GB for OSX and 250 GB for windows but while do I do?

  If I restart Boot Camp Assistant it gives me just a button to RESTORE the SSD drive in OSX partition

  I tried several times but just keep going in circles...

  Can someone help me please?

  -Reset SMC - tried but no change after

  If you have the Apple store, take the machine evaluation.  There is no charge for this, but you need an appointment.   The first thing I would check would be the cable.  You have another machine to test this with.

  Firstly the Toshiba recovery image is already enabled and you don t need this key more activations.

  Second, it's an OEM key and it will not work with other versions of Vista!
