My menu bar disappears when I move the cursor to the top of the document.  F9 it back, but I have to hit it twice everytime I go up to the menu bar.  How can I disable this feature?

  If this does not work in mode without failure, then disable all extensions and then try to find out who is the cause by allowing both the problem reappears.

  There is no way to turn that - files are stored automatically. However, you can log into your account on https://cloud.acrobat.com/files and download your files. Once they are downloaded safely on your desktop, you can delete them from your online account.
