I now have a new icon on the bar called "intel graphics media accelerator driver for mobile' tasks and my desktop icons are scattered. What's past and how to fix it. I can't find mention of the graphics accelerator intel in the list of applied patches.

  1. go into "View Update history" > mark down the KB # of you February patch.
  2. If your Windows Update is set to Auto, change it to manual.
  3. do a system restore. Choose the date before you install the latest Windows Update as your restore point.
  4. If everything is back to normal after the system restore, ask a question in the Windows Update forum. Ask if this KB # is required to install or if you can ignore that.
  at the moment I am unable to go to the Windows Update forum. So I can't give you the link to the forum. You will have to do it yourself.
  5. soon you will receive the new update available. Check the update. If you find the same update you have problems with, don't install this one until you get the answers from experts in Windows Update.
