  I'm currently developing a program of position control in labview. The program is quite simple, in which case the user will enter the distance on which he wants the table in the labview program and labview will send the signal to move a motor that will turn a ball screw to move a table horizontally to the targeted position. Do not forget to post your request (or a version of it that isolates the issue) when you arrive at the lab, if we can get a clear visual of the issue you are facing.

• Try to use my BT headset but "detection of service failed.

  I try to use my BT (official Sony PS3 earpiece/headset bluetooth) headset for my PC microphone.

  I bought a bluetooth dongle that came with the battery of Toshiba BT on the installation CD. I have installed the battery, put my helmet pairing mode and then add the new device.
  My helmet appears as 'headphone wireless. When I click Next, it says 'detection of service failed. I installed the latest version of the Toshiba BT stack, but that did not help.

  I have a printer connected to the computer: an HP DeskJet 932 C printer.  However, the old driver worked very well, and I get this message regardless of whether if the printer is physically connected to the PC.  The printer was initially connected via a parallel cable, and I've been using a USB cable, with no improvement.  I also downloaded and installed the latest driver from the HP support site; still, there is no improvement.  I also followed the instructions on the linked page, and the problem persists:

  Finally, around the same time the "printer" problem has started, the PC started suffering from sporadic blockages mouse: at irregular intervals after the start (anywhere from a few seconds to hours), the mouse stops responding completely.  I tried using two different computer mouse (the two USB), and the problem has occurred at the same time.  I can't prove it, but given that these two problems seem to start at the same time, I tend to think that they are related.

  Glad to hear the problem is solved.

  Check if there are any drivers listed in the printer server properties and delete the same.

  You can use the command to remove drivers below. Follow these steps:

  a. click on start

  b. click command prompt

  c. right-click on the option of cmd.exe and select run as administrator

  d. type: printui/s/T2

  e. opens the printer server properties page

  f. click on the port tab and remove port

• New HD not detected

  HP/Compaq Presario V6000 factory 120 GB hard drive is dead.  BIOS Diagnostics ran and it failed after the Quick Test.  Replaced HD with the new HD 250 GB (not a refurb).  Ran twice the BIOS diagnostics and passed twice.  Install WinXP says that there is no HD and refuses to start installing (so the two BIOS diagnostics works!).  All this in the BIOS looks OK.  Any ideas on where to go from here?

  Are you using XP Recovery discs or a retail XP cd? Is this machine an Intel or AMD processor?

  My assumptions are it is an Intel machine and you are using a retail XP cd. XP not driver SATA for Intel based machines, so it's not 'see' the hard drive. You can disable "Native SATA" in the BIOS Setup to activate XP to install_if this V6000 is less than the series V6500, such as V6120 or V6410.etc. Models, starting at V6500 have no option in the BIOS.

  Another scenario would use a XP cd at least SP1 on an AMD computer. All the foregoing SP1 see the hard drive on AMD machines.

  I just had a battery go on my hp envy 15, I ordered a new, replaced the old, now my loading icon is an empty battery with a red on X. I tried to get out once again the battery and put it back, I tried a hard reset on the phone and I tried to re-install the drivers of battery for my laptop.   Hello. Your laptop is an Alienware M14x? Have you tried to reinstall the Realtek audio driver?

  Reinstalling the audio driver will restore the default audio settings. On many models by default is for line-in (off mic amp) then you may need to select again for a microphone and set the mic boost levels.

  I would check the settings both on the recording of the sound Properties tab (right-click on the audio icon and click recording devices, right-click on the microphone and set as the default, right-click the microphone, and then click Properties device, then the levels tab to set the push) and also the microphone of the Realtek Audio Manager tab. I would test the microphone using Windows Sound Recorder instead of Skype.

Finally, I got the system works 'after' discovery that the enormous power brick disliked the new arrangement of power when I replaced the old computer with the desire. I had to replace an adapter 3 - wat and consolidate the brick. A lot of noise to get her old system to work but now I have the choice of speakers or headphones driven by a hold on a HDMI monitor.
