My new HP Officejet 7610 large Format cannot print A3

Hi all

I just buy and install a large Format HP Officejet from the 7610 and I tried several times to print a sketch of A3 from photoshop. In the preview, all right, I checked the size of A3 paper and all, but printing is a cropped image of the original in the middle of an A3 paper A4.

I use Photoshop CS6 on a Mac with os x 10.7.5 operating system and I'm really confused.

That I am I wrong to do so since the preview is ok?

What else could I do to print in A3 size?

Hi, in response to my post, I installed the software directly from the disc that came with the printer without the help of the online resource.  Previously, I had simply related that he and it worked for A4.   He now works as well as many other features that had not been installed.

Bought an Officejet 7610 wide format e-all-in-one more than 1 year ago.  Finally put in place.  Am I correct, that there is no advanced settings of color as my old Photosmart C6280 - brightness, saturation, hue, and settings for each color? Is this what current HP - Photosmart line?

    Hi @jyz2100,

Although the advanced color settings may be different, there are options with software and print, dialog box that you can modify. I wonder if you might find the following useful information:

    The default sRGB mode
The default sRGB color space is the most common configuration for print jobs. As mentioned, most of the images are sRGB and sRGB offers color high quality automatic without user intervention. When sRGB is selected, the driver controls the color management. Color management should not be attempted with ICC profiles, while the pilot is set to sRGB mode. This will lead to generally low color fidelity.

    Hi PattiVan,

It seems that you can not set HP Officejet 4620 as default printer, you get the error message: 0 x 00000709.

What is a local printer or network printer?

We will try the following methods and check if they helps us to solve the problem.

Method 1: Try to change the default printer value in the registry key and check if it helps.

Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. • HP Officejet 7612 large Format: Stuck ink cartridge support

I changed my ink to a printer large format HP7612, and now it seems that one jumped back when the truck went all the way to the right and now is stuck. How can I fix?

    Hi @wkwood,

@DocCottle will be out until next week, but I thought that I will answer to save you time waiting for an answer.

Here is the document of support for this printer is not turned on - printer does not turn on.

If the 'Transport Jam' document provided by @DocCottle did not help and your printer is still under warranty I would contact HP Technical Support. What you can do, is to use the following link to create yourself a file number, then call and it can help to expedite the appeal process:

Step 1. Open the link: www.hp.com/contacthp/

Step 2. Enter the product number or select Auto detection

Step 3. Scroll up to "still need help? Fill out the form to select your contact options.

Step 4. Scroll down and click on: contact HP options - click Get phone number

File number and phone number are displayed.

If the printer is out of warranty, you may be able to get transportation released with a small "MacGyvering", if there is no guarantee to worry about urination.

When you do anything inside the printer that you want to unplug the printer for safety, but you want the trolley in the unlocked position, then turn on the printer and open the cover of the transport area before unplugging the printer.

I realize that with the trolley completely to the right is not easy to see what you're working with, but if you have something flat and long, like a ruler, perhaps there is a way to slide in on the top of the cartridge enough to push toward the bottom of the cartridge that has popped up and pull the hand trolley.

I hope that you are able to get it out.

  • OfficeJet 7610: no option to print 13 x 19

Any program I use (2013 Word, Adobe Reader, Adobe Acrobat 10, painting), I can't find an option to print Super B (13 x 19).  I am able to create a document of 13 x 19 in a casting of programs, but then my printer wants to break upwards in 4 pages. The drop was larger than 11 x 17 nothing listed and I've not found a way to create a custom size.

You are using a driver who come on a CD with the printer or downloaded from HP?  I suggest to download the driver available from HP here, that's the one I tested it with my system Windows 8.1 x 64.  8.1 Windows can also have a driver available automatically if you simply connected a USB cable with the first loading the driver.  The autopilot has perhaps not all the features of the printer is capable of processing.

You can give any name you want, to the new form but the paper size cannot be more than 13 x 19 or the form will not be displayed in the driver.

  • OfficeJet 7610 frequently performs maintenance printer minutes and using the ink

Since I got this printer, he managed frequent printer maintenance pretty much everytime I go to print a page. That in itself would not be a total problem outside waiting, but it seems to use ink. I've printed a single page of color since I got new ink cartridges. Whenever he did the interview, he uses more ink color. I already get messages saying that I need to replace the Cyan. It's ridiculous! Is this normal?

    Hello @DarinP1965,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand your Officejet 7610 running maintenance of the printer and use the ink. I will do my best to help you! Just so you know, usually when a printer keeps clean the print head, it indicates that something is wrong with your print head.

I recommend the continuation of this entire document of HP ink trails fixing faded prints and other common Print quality problems

Try cleaning the printhead by yourself a few levels to see if that makes a difference. If this does not help, you should then contact HP technical support for further assistance. Click here to read: worldwide Contact HP. Good luck.

  • OfficeJet 7610 Wide Format pri: Officejet scan to E-mail problem.

I have a problem with scanning to email on my 7610 Officejet printer. On the network and through apps, it works fine. The problem is if I scan a multi-page document and email it to me directly from the printer.

Each page is sent as a separate pdf file and attachment. If I want to read the PDF document, so I have to open a new email every time to see the page.

Is there a way to tell the machine should it all be a document? I still haven't the computers to scan and save, then send it. Especially if I send information to a friend until I walk out the door.

Print / scan doctor - nothing wrong and all updates installed.

Updates - controls performed weekly Routine 1-2 update

Software - complete software is installed (except the photo option and the Bing software)

Firmware - updated to update to the latest version (checked once a month at least)

Scan of the computer did not work - something about the complete software has not been installed, although it is.

Printer screen option - everything is configured correctly and everything works from this screen.

    Final solution:

    (1) I uninstalled EVERYTHING associated with the printer, including remove from Control Panel and use revo uninstaller to completely remove everything.

    (2) re - install the printer from scratch (as if I just bought).  Installed from HP.com rather than the accompanying CD to make sure I had the latest version.

Now it works, glitch, so more than likely, typical of software that only showed when that specific option has been selected.

  • Paper size HP OfficeJet 7500 has large Format - custom printing

I am a collector of stamps and create all my own scrapbook pages.  I use the white pages of a well-known stamp album manufacturer (lighthouse, Germany).  The pages are 10.625 "x 11.7".  How can I set up my printer to print correctly on them?  I don't see any option for custom paper, even if your listing online says that he accepts custom formats.  What should I do?

    Thank you

    Lloyd Thrower

I found a solution.  The height of my pages are the same as the width of A3 pages.  So I have 1) used for the adjustment of the A3, 2) turned the page in landscape mode and 3) only used the 10,625 left inches of the page.  It prints perfectly.

What I learned from this is to think a bit off the beaten path.  If the paper size is not supported, find one that is, which can be changed.  It must be greater than what you use - but not too big or you end up with too much adjustment.
