  I turned on my brand-new Satellite L50-A-1This for the first yesterday set it up which worked like a charm. Today, as I tried to turn it on for the second time, the screen wouldn't come. Although you can hear the snoring treatment unit and also to see the cursor, the screen remains black.

  When you start your laptop you see Toshiba welcome screen or it's dark all the time?

  I bought new Toshiba Satellite L50-A-1EK 18/04/2014.
  I unboxed my computer and I have "little problem" with keyboard.
  It is really hard to push 'g' and 'h' actually these buttons only works when im pushing hard.

  There is a reason to go to the shop with warranty card or can I fix it myself?

  I have a new Satellite Pro A200, I've had for about a week. Initially he was charging fine, now it won t load and I have to run to the network it all the time. For the first few seconds after lighting it seems to be loading it then does nothing.

  Before you start to speculate on potential problems I recommend you contact your dealer as soon as possible. The laptop is new and everything should work fine. The behavior described is certainly not normal and may be that something is faulty.

  The description of your problem is OK, but we don t know what you don t in the past.
  This problem doesn't happen for no reason and maybe something you did can be responsible for this.

  Looks defective BIOS so can you please tell us since when you have this problem, and maybe you tried to update the BIOS in the past?

  I bought just new Satellite L50 - B - 1 DM, model number PSKTCE and installed on Windows 7 Professional SP1 64 bit. He came without OS installed and without driver installation disk.
  Problem is that Wlan card does not appear in Device Manager.

  For my Toshiba support model are 37 drivers and programs. I have already installed: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, all updates to Windows that appeared, SP 1, driver LAN, Toshiba Value added Package. And I tried to install all wlan drivers 4 in the list of "tool utility Intel ' also.
  Does not always display any connection without wireless WLAN card. Pressing Fn + F12 does not change. In "Network connections" is the only connection - LAN. No WLAN, no bluetooth.

  In the past, that Toshiba gave driver webcam but for Win8 or Win8.1 this driver is not available more. Driver webcam is part of the operating system.

  Hi, the new Satellite L50 - C - 1 L 2 has maybe a problem of USB 3.0. All the componetens that I connect to USB 2 works correctly. But some of these plugged into USB 3 doesn't work. A driver from Microsoft for USB 3.0 extensible Hostcontrolller v 1.0 is installed, no more. I cannot find any USB 3.0 driver in collection of driver of Toshiba. What can I do? They are a special USB 3.0 driver?

  im not toshiba but tell me how you know that your usb sata 3 do not work, you should have a usb 2.0 port and two usb 3.0 ports, if you use the usb 2.0 to usb 3.0 port device you will get only 2.0 speeds. USB 3.0 is backward compatible with usb 2.0 even peripheral id usb 3.0 according to manufacturer and specs of the device and how to use it. lets say spec is of high quality and again then you transfer files small speed should be fast that belong to 3.0 speeds but if you transfer large files then your currency becomes warm or hot and gets corrupted performance speeds down you can even get up to usb 2.0 speed and maybe that's why you think that your USB 3.0 ports do not work correctly , I hope that its clear things that worry you.

  Brand-new Satellite L50-C03E laptop pad touch does not work. Upgrade to Windows 10. Tried using all combinations of F5, FN & F5, don't hit to swipe and checking settings and nothing works.

  I guess you can use external USB mouse.
  Connect it to the laptop and uninstall the old touchpad software / driver for Windows 10 system. You should find it in Control Panel → programs and features.

  After the the touchpad driver has been removed, restart the laptop and win 10 updates.

  It would be very interesting to know if this solution allows you to get the touchpad working again.

  I bought a brand new Satellite L50 - B - 1 M 9, everything works well except my indicators for Wi - fi and battery. I am talking about the small LED lamps on the front right-hand side of the laptop. I use Win8 64 bit and so much worse if wi - fi is on / off battery uses DC or not these two indicators remain lit all the time.

  This strange s that the two indicators should operate as follows.
  WiFi/BT indicator should amber lights when the BT or WLan is enabled.

  DC IN / battery indicator shows the condition on the DC-IN and charge the battery. White color indicates that the battery is fully charged, so that feeding properly.
  The LED would change to amber if the battery is partially charged or it s not charged.

  Anyway, if there is no feature of LED sign, I guess there must be a problem with the hardware of LED. I think it would be a good idea to check the unit by the authorized service provider.

  In General, recovery image is always designed for certain model of laptop computer with a certain hardware configuration.
  Designed for L450 recovery image includes all the drivers, tools and utilities for certain hardware platform and it is tested.

  You can try to install on your new machine but I'm afraid that it will not work and you will get a Mr. blue screen I tested in the not on my machines.
