My office is not available in my save dialogue

I have als = ways able to temporarily store the files on my desktop.  Now all of a sudden the desktop does not appear when I go to pen a file or record a.

What should I do to get it back.  I went to the finder preferences and he said it should appear in my sidebar.  Help please.

When the dialog box save as appears, on the left side, you see your hard drive listed?  Mine is labeled Macintosh HD.  When you click (single click), you see a folder called users?  If so, click on that one.  You should then see a list of users who have files on your computer.  Click on your username and the dialog box will develop further - you should see listed Office. Click to save everything you try to save to the desktop.  In all, it should look like this:

    A. remove all instances of the OJ8600 which is present in the applications software

    1 double-click on icon HD Mac desktop

    2. Click Applications, and then click folder Hewlett-Packard

    3. double click on uninstall HP

    4. click on continue when opens

    5 Select HP product to remove (OJ8600), then click on uninstall

    6. When prompted enter admin information (name of user and password)

    7. when the UI program uninstall is complete, drag all icons of the product to the trash

    8. return to the Applications and then click the Utilities folder

    9. double-click on activity monitor. Open the activity monitor

    10. under the name of process, click on any process that begins by HP, and then click on leave

    11. click on leave again.

    12. close the activity monitor

    13 empty the trash

    14 disconnect the product and then restart your computer

    B. reset the operating system printing system: NOTE: If OTHER PRINTERS ARE INSTALLED this WILL REMOVE THEM, if YOU DO NOT WANT that to HAPPEN please DO NOT COMPLETE THIS STEP

    6. click on the name of the printer

    7. click on add

    8. test the functionality

    When I turned off my laptop and the switch once more, a problem occurs usually suddenly and my operating system "Vista Ultimate" done before and Windows 7 now do the same thing as well time and time again.

    HI for the past two days, I tried to install microsoft office home and student on my computer, but no edition could not.  It will start but I receive this message Setup cannot continue because a required file is damaged or is not available.  Rerun Setup from the original source disc or download location.  I've done both and I still get the same message.

    Thanks for the guidelines to help me solve my problem. Just to tell you that no, I have no error messages when I tried to access the office programs and Yes, I made a few changes in the pc... in the registry with Glary Utilities. That was my main concern.

    However, I tried the AUDITOR of FILE SYSTEM (CFS) and it fixed some problems.

    I also watched method 2 and did a performance using MICROSOFT FIX patch and ran that the Microsoft SECURITY SCANNER both have not reported any problems.

    Also tried method 1, no problem in safe MODE. I didn't think it was a third party program... so I decided to do a restore to an earlier date... then the problem seems to have disappeared.

    Start the pc also seems to be much faster.
