• Path is no longer valid, but search find real files.

  I have several thousand mp3 registered only user account (we tell new user).  The "New user" account has been deleted, and so all the files 'New user' had saved were lost.  When logged in as an administrator on the computer, the search will find all mp3, with the path of c: new user/music/music folder.  However, when I click on the file, it says that the network path is no longer valid...  OBVIOUSLY!  So I know that the files exist, I just need help, restoration as giving them a path name valid.  PLEASE HELP SOMEONE!  Thank you!

  C:\New user/music/music maybe isn't a valid folder - it may be a virtual folder or the junction point and thus the files that you see can not really be there.  The REAL files may have been deleted.  We'll cover that later.

  Even if you are logged on as administrator, it could still be a permissions problem (I realize that is in contradiction with what you know without doubt about administrator rights, but I've seen it happen).  Sometimes when you install a program, even if an administrator, you must right click on the executable file, and then click Run as administrator so that it can work (not related to this issue, but try to make the point that being logged as administrator sometimes is not enough).  Some files are not accessible even as an admministrator without additional modifications (especially with Vista).  Not only you must reset the permissions but also recommend resetting the property (I know all say you that you already own, but the user has been deleted so that no one really has the files- but back to your new user name of the account just to be sure).  And make sure that all the user is not set on deny access (which replaces all other permissions) - although I doubt that this is the case or you would not be able to access through either search (which may be the problem because this seems to be the case as well).

  Where to find the files (full path)?  They should have been if they had moved in the folder of the profile so it is unclear why this happened or what permissions they carry are now (they could carry the permissions of file system blocking same adminisrators).  I would try to move them if the system allows you to do this (or after you have changed the permissions/ownership if it isn't).  Find one of them then go to the parent folder (or the top folder, if there are several layers) and right click to get properties and click Security to check things and change them if necessary.  Here is some good information on permissions and ownership that can help you solve the problem.

  To view your permissions, right-click on the file/folder, click Properties, and check the Security tab.  Check the permissions you have by clicking on your user name (or group of users).  Here are the types of permissions, you may have: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/What-are-permissions.  You must be an administrator or owner to change the permissions (and sometimes, being an administrator or even an owner is not sufficient - there are ways to block access (even if a smart administrator knows these ways and can move them - but usually should not because they did not have access, usually for a very good reason).)  Here's how to change the permissions of folder under Vista: http://www.online-tech-tips.com/windows-vista/set-file-folder-permissions-vista/.  To add take and the issuance of right of permissions and ownership in the right click menu (which will make it faster to get once it is configured), see the following article: http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/05/21/take-and-grant-full-control-permissions-and-ownership-in-windows-7-or-vista-right-click-menu/.

  To resolve this problem with folders, appropriating the files or the drive (as an administrator) and give you all the rights and the property (you as a standard user or you as an administrator - since you have trouble, I use the administrator account AND add the standard account of right and give ownership of the administrator).  Right-click on the folder/drive, click Properties, click the Security tab and click on advanced and then click the owner tab.  Click on edit, and then click the name of the person you want to give to the property (you may need to add if it is not there--or maybe yourself). If you want that it applies to subfolders and files in this folder/drive, then check the box to replace the owner of subcontainers and objects, and click OK.  Back and now there is a new owner for files and folders/player who can change the required permissions.  You can change now switched to read-only (even if the main folder indicates that they are always read-only - you can access yourself as the owner).  You can keep them in read-only to other users, customers and administrators even (although they can support themselves and access, if they wish, and it is really not that you can do to stop it except protect the file with a password by using a 3rd party product.)  Here is more information on the ownership of a file or a folder: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/67717-take-ownership-file.html.  To add take ownership in the menu of the right click (which will make it faster to get once it is configured), see the following article: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/add-take-ownership-to-explorer-right-click-menu-in-vista/.

  The files are not really deleted until they are crushed (although they are no longer available through conventional methods).  If you decide to try these recovery programs, you should stop using your drive hard immediately in order not to replace the data that you are trying to recover.  He slave on another PC and launch the recovery of this PC.  Even now you have definitely lost some of them if you use the same PC.  If you can not do this (slave on another PC), you run the risk of overwriting the data with every action you do on the PC (but you may still be able to recover some or most or even all files - it's a matter of luck).

  If you purchased InDesign CS5.5 as an upgrade then it looks like it's showing that you need to provide information about the old version where you improved since he found nothing that qualifies.  You must only choose the old version and serial number.  (I don't know anything about InDesign, nor how it might relate to PageMaker).

  For groups or layers Warp independently of their parent group, add a "+" to the beginning of the name of the layer in PS / HAVE. It's the same select group in the Panel of puppets and by checking the Warp option independently in the properties panel.

  Once a group is warping independently, it will be attached to its origin at the origin of the group from its parent by default.   This will still show the old Apple ID, but can be "crushed" and has added a new.

  You can go a step further by going to ~/Library/Preferences and delete the com.apple.ids.service.com.apple.madrid.plist file.

• iPhone has old Apple ID and we do not know the password

  My friend is one of 94 and has an iPhone to MacBook Pro and iMac.  Here course Apple ID and password are used on its App store, iMac and MacBook Pro. Everything is very good.

  Problem is the iPhone has an old Apple ID it's [email protected] it doesn't have the password.  I tried everything short of a complete wipe/reset.

  Other solutions?  (She can't receive email aol of the former for the same reason, I forgot the password.

  You may be able to change the Apple here ID

  Reset of the iPhone won't work - it'll still be hooked on the lock activation - it is what the Apple ID has been designed - in other words turning off the Find iPhone requires that you know their Apple ID and be able to provide the password

  If the above does not work and you have proof of purchase - you might be able to bring it to an Apple store for them reset the phone.
