If you registered the software at Adobe, you should be able to connect to the Adobe site and find your serial number.

Adobe does not recognize that I uninstalled CS on my old computer, will not let me activate it on the new computer.
Yes, uninstall is not the same as disabling. Call support to reset the activations.

I have my laptop (main Adobe CC machine) and my (home) office. I have a backup of office (at home), and my main office will be in repair for about 3 weeks. Can I activate Adobe CC on my machine back up and then when I get my main office of repair back reactivate the license on it?

That is right.
You can simply disconnect the computer you send for repair.
So that you can enable on the backup computer:
Learn how to enable or disable Adobe applications.
Later, you can sign removing it to the backup computer and reactivate on the repaired computer.
You can disconnect and connect anytime you want, there is no restriction.

Recently, I replaced an old computer running Windows XP with a newer computer of Windows7.
I have TWO Toshiba external hard drives 2... one of them (Mdl HDDR250E03X) is used for external backup of data on my computer. I started using it for my old computer that was running on Windows XP. Due to a Trojan infection, I had to buy a new computer running Windows 7. I thought that the hard drive is simply a plug-and-play device, BUT my new computer has not recognized that there is a device plugged until someone suggested that I make a change in the Device Management section (which only works at Midway). My new computer now sees that the drive is there, BUT the data displayed under a name of file/folder (dec22a69bbd43e6966c9935e4720f7). Data include WORD files, EXCEL files and .jpg files. When I click on this long file/folder name, I get a long list of records as well as other unknown files that I don't recognize. Inside each of the files is the SAME set of files (EULA, LocalizedData and SetupResources.dll. When I try to save a WORD or EXCEL file on this disk, I tells me that the drive is empty, then the path and destination does not allow me to record anything. I suspect that the problem lies in the Windows 7 software to recognize the hard drive but, I'm totally new to this Windows 7. Everyone recognizes what is the problem? I KNOW that the data is always there because I ran my virus on this single drive software and I could see many file names as they were read.

Computer will not activate after installing XP SP2 repair
I see a lot of people have posted on this subject, and some have set. I did a repair of an old computer installation. At the start, it says I need to activate my copy of XP. It just hangs.
I can boot into safe mode (but not with networking). I followed the 312295 article, which had me do the following
1 regedit-localmachine-software... - winnt - winlogon - notify delete RESETS (there was none this entry, so I didn't do anything)
2... regedit wpaevents OOBETimer 'Edit' (don't know what you mean about a hex file editing, so I just delete a line)
3 renamed WPA.dbl
4 extended wpa.db_ from wpa.dbl installation disc (ran OK)
5 looking for any reset5.* or srvany.exe (no current)
6 restart the computer.
The same problem. Still will not start. Any other ideas?
Some recommend to replace IE 8. I'm certainly willing to do that - except my installation disc is a version of SP2. So, how can I get a version of SP3 to install in safe mode? (I download from another computer, but I don't know which version to get).
Why I installed? There was no failure, but because after 8 years of use the computer was bogged down so he could barely work.
But if this was justified is besides the point, because it is already done.
I installed SP3. I Redid the things listed above.
I still get the message saying to activate windows and it crashes whenever I try.
So I took the advice of others, installed IE8 in safe mode. Upon restart, it worked! (An arisen window asking me to activate, I said yes and it worked.
This window looked like IE8 material - probably at the heart of the problem.
Problem solved.

My computer died recently. I had the right to install applications on two different machines. My new Mac is here and my panic to get back to work by using the CC apps, I reinstalled the on the new machine. Now I'm able to use them on my laptop because I wasn't able to disable out old Mac applications and this is why Adobe think I used my two installs.

You can actually have installed creative cloud and on two computers, signed as long as you don't use it on one at a time. Download and install as you did on the first computer, sign in to your Adobe account on the Adobe using your Adobe ID website, download the desktop app from clouds, then download the software. Sign on a computer that should not be used: log in and log out of the desktop Adobe Creative Cloud application

If you have the Setup file to install the program, you can copy it to a USB stick and install it on another computer. You can also install the program by using an installation disc. If you do not have the configuration file, you will not be able to install the program.

I am most definitely connected to the internet and have tried to solve this question many times during approximately the last 18hours?Help would be much appreciated?Good suggestion but I tried this, had to go the manufacturer of the laptop, but still no luck. Think he was playing tricks on me in any case, as seemed to be resolved with a full audit of the system and diagnosis.
