  I have lightroom 6. Installed on my laptop. Works very well. I had upgraded LR 5 on this same laptop computer. I'm also 5 LR on a desktop imac. Same license - worked fine when I created this on LR 5. So, after getting a new camera GX8, I also wanted to upgrade my imac to the same configuration of LR 6 I on the laptop because otherwise the raw files of Pana GX8 simply do not work.

  don't use do not CC. Or rather, at some point I installed CC on the laptop (to 6) but then licensed the download of LR 6 entirely perpetually. So I don't use CC do not have it on the imac.

  Tried installation connected to Windows as a brand-new user account.

  Installation failed to get Element_StarFrameCircle.psd, although windows seems happy enough with the cab file.

  Downloaded trial version of the website of Adobe, but that would not be executed (exe file is corrupted, but it is mentioned as a possibility on web site)

  Any ideas?

  You get an error trying to download?  Are you able to try another browser such as Firefox or Chrome?  You will need to download the whole trial, we do not have the data13.cab file available for download.  It's a good idea to get a new download anyway as there could be additional problems not yet met your installation media.

  Kristina, PSE 7 is now end of life we have few resources for the same thing. Please make sure that you check the system requirements | Adobe Photoshop Elements before installing the PSE 7 on a new machine.

  • For installation, you can try: products download Photoshop Elements: 7, 8 and 9.
