My Internet Explorer, updates to the computer, iTunes and everything, EXCEPT my AOL, does not work. My connection says 'excellent '. (Hang everything on my laptop to my wireless are works fine, that my office is having this problem)When I click on Internet Explorer, it says "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage", and when I click on "analyze the connection problem" said "problems discovered - the remote device or resource does not accept the connection detected.I talked to my internet provider Comcast all morning this problem: she said that his side internet connections work properly. She walked through me steps including reconnected the router cords, control the way in which the Internet is put in place and other things, but everything was how it was supposed to be. The remote device or resource does not accept the connection
I have a desktop computer Windows 7 connected to my router via an ethernet cable, but when I try to go to a website on Google Chrome as Google.ca, loading the page forever without even showing the page. Finally after a long wait, it finally says that the Web page is not available. I tried to go to the Web sites by using Internet Explorer, but occurs the same result. I tried to troubleshoot the problem and it "the remote device or resource does not accept the connection" is detected, but does not set automatically. I have a wireless printer connected to my router which is online and works very well. I can even connect to my router page. But still no access to Web pages don't like my outlook.com and etc. Sometimes a go open the network and sharing Center to change the settings of the card and disable the wired ethernet only to activate it again. It works only a few times, and it's really frustrating, because it is the only computer that does not connect to the internet, even with a ethernet cable. Please find a solution as soon as possible. Thank you.

The remote device or resource does not accept the connection detected
I have a computer that cannot connect to the internet. It is connected to a LAN line through a switch that has another computer on it. The other computer works fine. The computer in question says it is connected but when I try to open IE I get the unable to load the page. Outlook also connects and the computer does not connect to our domain controller. When I run the windows diognostic, I get the error "the remote device or resource accepts the connection detected. I was looking on the forums and tried everything I found. I have reset the settings of Internet Explorer and unchecked the proxy server box. I tried to replace the switch and the CAT5, even if the other computer on the switch works fine, so it isn't a problem with the hardware. I'm out of ideas.
The computer is running windows 7 and IE 9.

Error message: the remote device or resource does not accept the detected connection
I had this problem for months at this point. The common way with that I solve is to restore to a previous point. Once restored, but I can't stop or restart the PC without the same problem occurs. For this reason I only turn sleep mode and then the connection is working. But by mistake an update made me restart automatically and now I'm back to the previous question. I downloaded and saved a substantial amount of data from my last restore, so I was wondering if there is a practical solution to this problem?
Original title: perfect connection, but can not use the web or programs that require connections
Hello
Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft community.
Who are you referring when you say, "web or programs that require connections"?
It seems that your antivirus software is blocking the connection internet or computer is infected with a malware or a virus.
I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.
Method 1:
Run the network troubleshooter
Using the troubleshooter from network in Windows 7
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/using-the-network-troubleshooter-in-Windows-7
If this does not help, then use method 2.
Method 2:
You can disable your antivirus and check if it helps.
Reference:
Disable the anti-virus software
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/disable-antivirus-software#1TC=Windows-7
Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
If the problem persists, use method 3.
Method 3:
I also suggest you use Microsoft security to check the virus or malware scanner.
Refer to this article:
Microsoft safety scanner
http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx
Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.
Hope this information is useful. If the problem still persists, please post back for further assistance, we will be happy to help you.

Hello! I'm hoping to get clarification on the issue, I'll have.
So, I restored my Toshiba PC to its factory for another question settings, I tried to solve. Now when I connect to my network (which is fully functional on other computers, you mind) it says it is connected, but every time I try to go to a browser through the wireless, it says "this page cannot be displayed", the URL has no importance. I searched for hours all the different suggestions and none of them does not seem to work. When I plug the Ethernet cable, it does not work.
Can someone help me?
Thank you
Pete

Error: 0: the database does not accept a connection
Hello
We have EMP 11.1.2.1 and EAS worked very well. We applied successfully patches of SAE 13904635 and 13904640.
However, after you apply the patch, we received the error
Error: 0: the database does not accept a connection
For example, when connect us to EAS and click the EssbaseCluster1 under "Essbase Server" node we don't get something, like the list of application as such. We just get the error log.
What could be the problem, is there anything, we had to do after you apply the hotfix?
The essbase server seems to be running so we can pull the reports in the workspace and all.
Thanks for all the answers.
Have a read of the following Oracle Support doc - "impossible to add or connect to an Essbase server in Essbase Administration Services (EAS):" error: 0 in Essbase Administration Services: the database does not accept a connection "or" "error: 105: Login with token at MaxlJni" "(Doc ID 1469492.1).
See you soon

Import metadata connects in online mode, but "view data" says the connection failed
Hello
My installation of obiee is on AIX (solutions for linux will be good). I installed successfully obiee. I created a connection odbc with no problems.
I download and installed the dev admin too i.e. the stand-alone tool.
Offline, the two 'import metadata' and after the table is imported, 'Examining the data' works without any problem.
In online mode, I click on 'Import metadata' of the connection pool or file, both instantly connect. Once the table is imported, I select a column and say "Look at the data" and it says that the connection failed. Should the customer Oracle DB installed on the machine as unix? I tried to copy the file tnsnames.ora to my local computer to the OracleBI_1/network/admin directory, restart services and connected in online mode, BUT always "the connection failed".
Could someone help me with this please? seems to be a known issue.
Thank you
Dan

I had this problem before on sites Web of VA. How Firefox can not trust a site from the U.S. Government? It indicates that the connection is not approved and will not let me continue. How can I make Firefox let me continue?
This page opens another page in a frame.
In such a case, you cannot make an exception. This server does not send a certificate chain that ends with a built-in root certificate.
You can open this page in a tab to make it possible to create an exception if you really need access to the site.
Note that storing a permanent exception should not be.Open the chrome URI by pasting or typing this URI in the address bar to open the window "Add the Security Exception" and to check the certificate:
- chrome://pippki/content/exceptionDialog.XUL
In the field location type and paste the URL of the Web site
- retrieve the certificate via the button 'Get certificate '.
- inspect the certificate via the "view..." button. »
