my photos have disappeared!
When I open Iphots... There are LIBRARIES NON!
And in the sidebar in the finder... the option DISAPPEARED!
I can access it on my iCloud? HOWWWW!
What version if iPhoto do you have? And what version of Mac OS X? Is the signature in your profile 'MacBook Air, OS X (10.8.4) Mountain Lion' still topical?
What happened, before your iPhoto as missing Library Library? You upgrade the system. Or restore from a backup mac store?
Anything that might give us a clue.

I accidentally restore my iphone6 to an old back upward, and then all my recent photos have disappeared, is it possible to restore? I need help. Please, I beg you. I'm so desperate
Hi desperateme
Your recent photo (in the last 30 days) should be in the photo stream assuming that you use.
Otherwise you can just clean up the phone (settings > General > reset > erase all & content settings) and restore the phone again to a more recent backup.

My Photos have disappeared. How to recover?
My Photos have disappeared. How to recover?
There are several options for data recovery if you remember the name of the file associated with the file in question and do not forget, if your Spotlight index does not work right, using any tools at the bottom of this tip can help you find these files:
http://discussions.Apple.com/docs/doc-1689
The Photos and iPhoto use XML files to manage their library. Once you discover an XML library, usually you can use the command option key while you open iPhoto or Photos to redirect where is the Photo library file, so the application opens again the library from the file.
Note, it is unlikely an older version of iPhoto or Photos will be able to open a library was updated to a newer version.

photos have disappeared and all I see is a thumbs.db file
Some of my photos disappeared randomly and now all I see is a thumbs.db file in the folder. I am the only person who uses this computer and I did not remove the pictures of theses. I tried a search, but I'm still not able to locate them.
Hi Dfiore,
1. what changes have you made on the computer before photos disappear from the computer?
2. it happens with all types of files on the computer?
Thumbs.DB is a hidden file that contains thumbnails of the pictures stored in a folder.
The option must search the images on the computer.
The image search

I also suggest that you scan and remove any malware or computer virus infections and check if it helps.
The scan below only works on the 32-bit version of Windows

You can use the Microsoft security essentials to scan your computer

Phone crashed, the photos have disappeared, phone has slowed to a crawl
My phone crashed while taking a picture. Now the photos app shows 0 photos (should be) 6000 +, even if the application is still in 8 GB of space.
I had this happened before and the pictures app would begin to repopulate. Now, this isn't the case and the rest of the phone is barely functional, everything is extremely slow and apps crashing.

Looks like you're consuming a lot of storage of the iPhone.
Check the settings > general > storage & use iCloud > Storage manage and make sure that you have absolutely no less than 10% of the total free storage of your device.
Most likely, the solution will be to restore your iPhone as new and then very selectively add content since your last backup. As has happened before, you have probably been run too close to capacity for some time.

My photos have disappeared from iPhoto
I worked with my photos in iPhoto, the night last and this morning. Was having some issues when you try to send or share one of my albums to iCloud. This morning, he left unexpectedly and when I opened it, it says it must rebuild. After more than an hour to tell him that he's rebuilding, he leaves again. When I restarted it, it had NO pictures in it at all. I had thousands of pictures. I had not had the chance to save all those I take it morning and evening. I can't understand how to get back them. Help.
P.s. in the finder, under 'photos' and 'iPhoto library' this folder is GB 135.6. But he also says "last open Thursday, October 29, 2015." I use it almost every day. I can't understand this.
I do regular backups on time machine, but have not backed up in two weeks. I don't know how to recover from that either.
Try the following:
1 - Launch iPhoto with the command and Option keys to open the window of first aid. Don't forget to follow the recommendation circle in the screenshot.
2 - Apply the Option #4, rebuild the database.

Good grief, the component that shows all the photos have disappeared
I would call it a "browser", but apparently this isn't because this small doohicky shows only a single image at a time.
Everything has gone as I was alt-tab back and forth between the first and Photoshop, so I must have pushed a wrong button... I got most of the rear panels by selecting Windows - layers, etc.
Please, tell me how to get this section on the bottom of the screen which had all my images open to come back?
In more recent versions of photoshop elements, you can use the signs reset under window > reset panels or on the menu bar.
.
You can go to the Menu plan (on the menu bar) and press the icon consolidate everything to get rid of the mosaic images.

I organized some files and noticed that a progress bar appears at the top to left that moved slowly from left to right. A message appeared to say something like "2 ongoing operations". When he finished all my photos had disappeared from lightroom.
Lightroom to backup every week and I have disc full back ups on external drives. When I re - import pictures I had already worked on them are now non-edited. What is the best way to restore my edits on the 10,000 photos that disappeared?
Basic rule: re - import is most of the time - or even never - a good idea
- Quit LR
- Back up your current catalog (*.lrcat)
- Open the last zip of the backup folder and replace the current catalog.
- Start LR

I can't find my old emails that is to say the last 4 years e-mails have disappeared. I can't see in the 'archives' folder list and also in my list of "local" files
I recently formatted my system. It causes this problem? Is there anyway to recover my emails?Assuming that really format you your hard drive.
Can erase you every single entry to a file, message, photo, program, document, etc. When you select format you get warnings on this subject.
The format is the last thing you want to do without going through a backup of your personal and important files.Local folders is automatically created when you installed Tbird.
And it is empty until you move something over there.
(Your former local folder with all its files and messages has been removed under format).Only messages that are still on your server (stbeehive.oracle.com) can be recovered.

Album 'My Photo Stream' disappeared from 10.11.5
Recently, I upgraded my MacBook Pro to 10.11.5. After that, the album of my photo stream in Photos Apple disappeared. It used to be listed as one of the albums in the sidebar; It has now disappeared.
The album My Photo Stream still exists on my iPhone. Today, I took a few photos on the iPhone, and they have been synchronized on the MacBook (they appeared in Photos in Apple's photo gallery). This indicates that this photo stream working its magic between the iPhone and the MacBook and the iCloud.
Of course, I have My Photo Stream enabled in Photos. I don't have any iCloud that library enabled.
What happened to my photo stream on the MacBook? And how do I get it back?
What are your iCloud on each device settings? It seems that you are using iCloud library rather than MyPhotoStream
