  Yesterday, I installed the update to Lightroom. After this update, Lightroom does not display the picture in the menu develop instead, it displays a blue spot. Is this due to a setting?   Go in Edition > Preferences > Performance and uncheck CPU graph use.

  If you're updating your graphics driver, it may be possible to work with this option enabled.

• Photosmart HP 6520 does not recognize the envelopes in Word for Mac

  I've been printing envelopes #10 my Mac from word on my old HP 309n-c with no problems.  I now have the HP 6520 and it does not recognize the envelope size.  I was in and made sure the print properties were positioned and I still get the error message that I have not match the paper size.  Any suggestions?

  Choose file > Page Setup. Choose Page attributes from the settings menu, and then choose any printer from the Format pop-up menu for. Choose any printer ensures that your document can print on any printer that supports the paper size that select you.

  1. • If the Page Setup is not available, choose file > print. If the print dialog contains only two pop-up menus and some buttons on the bottom, click the triangle beside the printer pop-up menu.

  2. Choose Manage sizes custom from the paper size pop-up menu.

  3. Click the Add (+) button.

  4. Double-click the name of the paper size, and then type a new name.

  5. Enter values in the fields the paper size and margins of the printer and then click OK.

     Note: Make sure that the envelope is placed in the center of the printer with the flap upward

• My HP Photosmart C8180 All-in-One Printer does not scan the black and white film strips or slides.

  This problem occurred recently. Previously, the scanner accepted slides and strips of black and white film and scanned them without any problem. Since I've updated the OS on my iMac (I am currently using OS X 10.6.8), I contacted Applecare because I thought that it was possible that my current operating system might have some incompatibilities with the C8180. 'Expert' AppleCare then accompanied me by a uninstall/reinstall, but it has not solved the problem. AppleCare said then that the problem is no doubt HP hardware failure. I find it quite peculiar since the scanner otherwise Applecare analysis works and there is no problem with respect it print or copy.

  Your C8180 can scan slides or films fixed on the memory card.  This will allow you to test the scanning equipment.

• HP Photosmart C6380 does not scan or print photo with Windows 8

  Just bought HP M6/1125DX/15j with Windows 8. My current HP printer is a HP Photosmart C6380 All In One.  The printer does not work, but the photo and analysis part icons no longer appear which were on my front desk. I tried to download the entire program which said would update my printer, but after 6 tries to one hour each, at the end he just said my download has been cancelled. Is there a chance that my printer will be supported by Windows 8 and how do I do that if I can't download.  Or am I stuck buying a new printer? Thank you

  The C6380 is supported in Windows 8 and has a Solution Full Download.  I would try using the Print Wizard to download and install the drivers.

  The default analysis workflows configured to scan photo 6 x 4 in. make sure you change the scanning settings to not crop the area swept as follows:

  1 open the HP utility and select your device.
  2. based on Scan Settings open the "Scan to Computer".
  3. click on the tab "scan tasks.
  4. Select the shortcut Scan allows to analyze, and then click on edit.
  5. in the section of scanning from an HP device, click the blue triangle or button view details to expand the menu.
  6. in the expanded menu now, open the drop down next to cultures in and set as none or A4.
  7. click OK and try to scan.

  What file extension, these files get when save you them?

  If they do not have a file extension valid for a picture as a .jpg or .png then try to rename the files and give them an extension of .jpg file to see if that helps.
  
  If Windows hides the file extension and then use quotes ("image.jpg") around the name.
  
  You can check the type of file using the context menu > properties.

• Xbox 360 does not recognize the pictures or videos using Media Center

  My Xbox 360 suddenly stopped recognizing the pictures and videos using Windows Media Center.  I have a number of files on my laptop that I like to stream through Media Center so I can watch them on my TV, but WMC no longer seem to acknowledge their existence.  I can play my entire library of music very well, but when I try to access my photos and my videos, it shows me my user folder and claims that there is nothing in it.  Not really sure where to start even on that.  My firewall is let through the WMC and my network is configured to share media.  Windows Vista by the way.

  Hi, I realize the research that there is a problem with some printers analysis not when Maverick was installed. I don't know if I used the analysis since I installed it when it was released, but whether the scanner is not working now. Printer works, it's OK, all updates copy not just no scanner installed.   I understand that you have a B210 you encounter problems scanning with now that you have the OS 10.9. I'm sorry to hear that, but I'll do my best to help you!

  From the sounds of it, you may still use the software from a previous operating system is not intended to be used with 10.9. If this is the case, you'll want to follow this document uninstalling the printer software for the HP software removed then follow this OS X Mavericks v10.9: installing and using the printer on a Mac document to get the printer installed via the Apple updates.   I understand your position when you add a contact on your iPhone 5 it does not appear in the Contacts application, but appears on your Mac. I know how important it is that you are able to see all the contacts that you create on your iPhone.

  I check the Contacts and make sure that all groups are selected. Press Contacts > groups (upper-left). Make sure that all your groups have a control on the right side. Also, make sure you see hide all Contacts. If you see all the Contacts, click View all Contacts.

  I have a new Toshiba Equium M50-164, but it does not correctly display the my internet page at http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/lorne.anderson/Bridge/

  I have 4 other computers all display correctly (under XP, 2000, 98SE) and several of his friends say they can see OK. If I look at the HTML unlying by right click and view source in IE the fuse that displays the logo should read:

  Note the blank line 2 where the code to display the logo should be. If I open the page of the files on my hard drive it is displayed correctly so my guess is that Toshiba have done something to the security IE by default overide settings but I do not see what. How can I get IE on my Toshiba to work how Microsoft has designed to work?

  Try to install the latest updates. Perhaps the problem will be solved.

  Welcome to the HP Support forums. I understand that you get a connection error message when you try to use your printer Photosmart 6520 scanning e-mail.

  Please define Manual of the printer an IP address manually and DNS servers. If you do not know how to this I have included a link to another post which has measurements, including screenshots, on how to do it. Please do not worry that the screenshots show a printer Photosmart 7510, the steps are the same.

  Once you have set the IP address manually, you still have the same problem with by entering the PIN code?

  Please let me know the results.
