  Turn the printer off

  Unplug the printer from the computer and the wall outlet

  Reinstall the cartridges

  Support all the ink cartridges until they snap into place to make sure that they are well housed

  Close the cartridge cover and push it down until it snaps

  Close the scanner

  Press on the Stop button to start loading of ink. It takes about 2 minutes.

  When the the light stops flashing and remains on, the ink load is complete

  Never turn off the Epson Stylus CX while ink is in charge or you'll be wasting ink.   As indicated in the document "If there are still defects on the page after the print head has been cleaned once, go to solution to replace one or two print heads."

  Solution 6: replace one or two print heads

  If you have done all the troubleshooting steps and you are still experiencing a problem, replace the printhead.

  This article is for a different question, but I recommend the manual steps to wipe the nozzles and contacts to make sure there is no jets dried or debris preventing the ink to produce quality printing results.

  Have you never done this successfully?

  If you try to print by directly connecting a camera, what is the brand and model of the camera?

  If you try to print from a memory card, have you tried to copy the files from the memory card on your computer and then open them on the computer to ensure that the files are not corrupted?
