My printer is a HP Officejet 7500 a large format e-all-in-one printer-E910a.

It shows a general error on the screen # 0x610000f6. And that's all that. How can I resolve this error and make some impression

Hi @Aroo

Usually the 0 x 6 * errors point to a carriage jam. Please use the following document to solve the problem; ' A 'carriage Jam' or ' 0X610000F6 "message for HP Officejet 7500 (E910a and E910c) a large Format e-all-in-one printers.

If the problem persists, I suggest that we call. If you are in the Canada, U.S. dial 800-474-6836 or you can Contact HP worldwide. Even if the printer is out of warranty, I recommend calling that we might be able to offer a discount on a newer model.

I hope this helps.

I have a Mac Book Pro running Mac OS X 10.7.5 (just updated all the software).

I connect my MacBook to the internet through my Apple Time Capsule (wired connection). I use version 6.1 (610-31) Airport utility and I just updated the version of the firmware to 7.6.1

I use a local wireless through my Time Capsule.

I just bought a large format HP Officejet 7500 a (model name: C9309A).

The printer has been set up to detect my wireless LAN and initially he worked for printing and scanning, but it has recently discontinued. I tried to uninstall (purification) the software of my laptop HP, all my software update and reinstall the HP software on my laptop, but it still does not work.

The printer is connected to my time capsule via an ethernet cable and a USB cable. It also includes Wi - Fi connection generates my time capsule. I have preferthe printer plugged into the router (time capsule) rather than a WiFi connection I print large files.

I can install the printer on my computer mac laptop (settings/printers & scanners). I added it as a wireless and a wired connection through my time capsule (it shows that the connection is done by the time capsule). However when I print, there is a long delay, the printer now says "printing", but I get the error on my laptop screen "can not write print data: ÿ * xˇ.» A few minutes later a blank page or a page with a single line is ejected from the printer.

If I go into the configuration of the HP printer, it says I'm under pilot 3.4.1. If I try to open the printer utility I get a message "utility HP does not work with the devices connected to the airport. Try to connect the camera directly to your Mac to work with her. " I tried to connect directly to my Mac via the USB cable and which does not work either. I prefer that the printer is not connected directly to my laptop I have few USB ports.

In my view, this printer is supposed to be compatible with my system.

Is there something more, that I can do or this printer is not compatible with my MacBook Pro or my Time Capsule?

    Hi marion_13,

Turn it on wireless and then try to access the EWS - embedded Web server by typing the IP address of printers in the browser's address bar Safari. I would like to know if you are able to access the built-in Web server?

Document below will also help you get the printer installed on your wireless computer.

    Hello tbendorf,

    Welcome to the HP Forums.

I see that you have a problem with printers all the flashing lights.

You see all the error codes or error messages on the printer?

First of all, please make sure that you have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet and not a bar/power strip. Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer for example, but it is intended for HP products in general. Please click the link which explains the problems when connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power.

Please write me back when you have time and I will be happy to help you.

  • Paper size HP OfficeJet 7500 has large Format - custom printing

I am a collector of stamps and create all my own scrapbook pages.  I use the white pages of a well-known stamp album manufacturer (lighthouse, Germany).  The pages are 10.625 "x 11.7".  How can I set up my printer to print correctly on them?  I don't see any option for custom paper, even if your listing online says that he accepts custom formats.  What should I do?

    Thank you

    Lloyd Thrower

I found a solution.  The height of my pages are the same as the width of A3 pages.  So I have 1) used for the adjustment of the A3, 2) turned the page in landscape mode and 3) only used the 10,625 left inches of the page.  It prints perfectly.

What I learned from this is to think a bit off the beaten path.  If the paper size is not supported, find one that is, which can be changed.  It must be greater than what you use - but not too big or you end up with too much adjustment.

  • OfficeJet 7500 has large Format: color printing

I had a lot of trouble with my printer.  I went online and made the diagnosis, I uninstalled and reinstallled the softward of the original disc.  I now have it print black from the internet and make copies in black and color, but it will not print in color from the interenet.  There's just nothing... no error message, just nothing.  Anyone know what is happening?

    Hey @AlexandraC!

Thanks for getting back to me!

I see that the issue is not yet fixed, but you are able to get a test page to print!  That is great news because you now know that there is some sort of communication here.  I'm sure we can get this resolved!

You can try changing the print using your printer driver is to the other.  To do this open the "Devices and printers" in the start menu.  In devices and printers, right-click on the name of your printer and go to "Printer properties" in the menu in the menu dropdown.  Click on the "Advanced" tab and click new driver.   Click on "next", on the left side choose HP and sideways right choose HP Deskjet 9800.  Click Next, finish and then try again to print your documents.

I would like to know how that works for you!

  • HP Officejet 7400 series: installing software HP all-in-one cancels before the end

After the upgrade to Windows 10, my HP OfficeJet 7400 (wireless) series has lost the ability to analyze.  The HP Solution Center responds with the message "cannot run because your installation of the device is not complete.  I ran printing HP and doctor Scan and it said that "the complete office solution for your product is not installed on this computer" (even though it worked fine w/Windows 7 before the upgrade).  Continuing through the stages of printing and doctor Scan, you are prompted to install the software all-in-one series I initiative.  He gets successfully to the menu of Options of Installation of revision.  I check out the review and accept the check box and click Next.  At this point, it passes to the "prepare the system for the installation" and for the briefest of moments he says software removal.  But then the operation will stop and the program ends without having to install the software and drivers.  I found a log file pushing files and shows that I am an ERROR_INSTALL_USEREXIT 1602 - the user cancels the installation.

Although my situation seems to be a bit different that other issues addressed in the forums of HP, I've tried every fix suggested in those and nothing works.   I also downloaded Windows Scan and scan HP and Capture and cannot find my scanner.  The print function, however, works with the supplied Windows 10 driver.

    Any thoughts?  Thank you!

    Hello @Bill_M1,

This is a great place to visit for a community support and HP! I see that you are not able to scan and you encounter problems during installation. Thank you for providing all of the steps that you have already tried. I wish I could help you.

I would uninstall the old printer drivers Windows 7 install and reinstall the most recent drivers.

I have provided with steps to unlock the hidden administrator account and the installation of the printer on this account to see if this will help this situation.

Note: Do not connect the USB cable until you are prompted during the installation.

    • Go to your Start menu and in the box "search programs and files", type CMD.
    • CMD will fill as an option to search above, just right-click on it and "run as Administrator".
    • Once opens in CMD (command prompt), type net user administrator / Active: Yes and press ENTER.
    • Then, close CMD and then restart your computer.
    • When your computer is on the newspaper in the new account which should show. It will be called Administrator and will not have a password on it.
    • If your computer automatically connects to your account after the restart then go to your Start menu and click on the arrow next to 'shutdown' and choose 'change user '. Now log on to the administrator account, that we have just released.
    • Under the administrator account, install the printer software.
    • Test the printer.
    • To disable the Admin account start at step 1 and type net user administrator / active: No..

    Here is the driver: Full_Webpack - 140.0.408 - 5-AIO_CDB_FSW_Full_Win_WW_140_408 - 5.exe

    How is the printer connected?

If the issue is resolved, your welcome to show your appreciation by clicking on "Accept as Solution" and the "Thumbs Up". Let me know how make you out. Thank you.

  • Error message Scanner HP 7500 has large Format

I have a 1 - year, 7500 HP all-in-One printer/scanner/copier/fax.  3 months ago the bar scanner has started making a grunting noise when its start and restart and then suddenly stuck.  I have fiddeled autour and I've tried doing a hard reboot by pulling on the power cord for a few minutes then reconnect back.  That did not help.  I discovered that in now the power button so that the printer was ON that unit would apparently do a reset and recycle itself before working once more perfectly.

Tonight, the same thing started happening for no rhyme or reason but this time or unplug the unit or hold the power button causes the unit resets automatically and the unit is practically useless to fill the functions going included simple impression.

I'm somehow missing a step in the process of system reset I forgot?

If please advise if I can get this and works as soon as POSSIBLE, I have a ton of stuff to generate for the IRS taxpayer lawyer unit!

    Thank you.

    Hi gregscher,

At this point, we have exhausted all the available troubleshooting options. I appreciate your persistence, even your will to leave the hammers and power tools! I wish I could say that would help!

You can either use the printer as printer only, or call HP HP. might actually be able to offer a discount on a newer model. If you are interested in discussing your options with them, the number to call is 1-800-474-6836 for the Canada and the United States, or you can Contact HP worldwide.

  • OfficeJet 6500 E709n: Failure of 6500 all in one ink system

Recently inherited a 6500 all in one and installed this AM.

Everything was going fine until I had to print a test page.

    Error: Ink system failure.

The manual says disconnect power and reconnect after 10 seconds.  This did not help.

When I ask to print, it says printing the error message and then it makes a grinding noise - in that order.

Then an error message appears on my pc computer screen.

This printer has been moved from one House to the other - it would have something to do with the message or the squeaking noise?

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you for your suggestions.

I had 2 problems: ink system failure and grinding.

The solution you provided workd partially - that is to say, I can print now but...

First of all, concerning the failure of the system of ink - the operating manual supplied with the machine to stop the machine, unplug from wall, waiit 10 sec and reconnect.

I tried and it doesn't work.

The ground ' n you provided (from HP for the SAME model as my machine) gave another way to reset the machine - turning machine on, unplug the machine, unplug the unit from wall, wait 15 sec, wall plug, machine to reconnect.  In that order.

Similar, yet very different and IT WORKED.

    So thanks for that.

But the machine still makes a grinding noise that lasts about 3 seconds.

I press print, paper flow, paper comes out of the printer, and then there's grinding hard.

Back then a series of sounds as if something has been reset.

All very very different from my previous 960C that is turned on when I printed and do not grind or reset of sounds.

    Clues?
