My processor speed is half of what it was after that I installed the new RAM. What can I do to recover my processor speed?
I use a laptop HP Pavillion 5220, XP Home Edition. It came with 1.6 GHz AMD Processor 3000 + and 512 MB RAM. I upgraded to 1.25 GB of RAM, and my processor at 800 MHz.
The solution was to update my BIOS and AMD CPU since the HP Web site software. I don't know who did the trick, but it is now 1.6 GHz processing speeds. The RAM was correct for my computer.

Hello.
The capacity is 16 GB maximum supported RAM in this model, you can go ahead and update if you want to.
In addition, you can take a look at the technical details of your laptop and follow the steps to change the RAM:

I have Safari 9.1, El Capitan. The changes I make in the Safari preferences are not saved after that I close the program. There is no such thing as a Library/Preferences/Safari. What should do?
I think you're looking in the root folder not your home folder. Tilde ~ in front of the first slash indicates the folder.
Try this...
Quit Safari.
Open a Finder window. In the Finder menu bar, click go > go to folder
Type or copy paste the following text:
~/Library/preferences/com. Apple.Safari.plist
Click OK, and then move the com.apple.Safari.plist file to the trash.
Restart Safari to test.

I bought the extra memory. I have to do something when I install the new memory?
I went to the Disk Defragmenter, and he always says that I have 35% of free space. The new memory will change this amount? my windows vista starts normally until I have pass the user coice screene. After that, I see the cursor but everything is black. What should I do?
It was probably caused by the removal of any file system as I was scaning the pc for malware and probably deleted some important file. only safe mode works nowand I need my computer quite urgent for the University.Thank you very much!Hello
No saving necessary data and re-installing Windows Vista might be the best option, but here
are a few others. You can save your files by putting the drive in another computer as a 2nd disk (best) or external
Drive USB enclosure and then backup to removable media such as CD, DVD or other USB drives.
Of course a real store of the computer or the manufacturer of your system can help to recover the files.Or you can use a boot Ubuntu CD to back up data.
Use Ubuntu Live CD to backup files from your Windows computer dead

You can access Mode safe? Repeatedly press F8 as you start? If yes you can try Control Panel - device
Manager - graphics card - Double click on - driver tab - click on UPDATE driver - then right click
on devices and UNINSTALL - REBOOT.A method to try to get to the desktop (try in normal Windows Mode without failure) is CTRL +.
ALT + DELETE - Manager tasks and tab process EXPLORER.exe and COMPLETE the PROCESS on this subject - and then
on the Applications tab - lower right - new task - type in EXPLORER.exe. Safe mode is available by
repeatedly tapping F8 as you start. CTRL + SHIFT + ESC also begins the Task Manager.First check this thread in case it is simple and if not to come back to this thread.
Black screen problems are extremely difficult to repair and all patch is usually on a base hit or miss.
That there is no information on a black screen as it is on a blue screen just adds to the
Difficulty. Often using a restore point or Startup Repair will have no effect. You can try a

I am not able to see my stuff on my desk, I fear he may have crashed. What can I do to recover it?
See other responses to your question, but let me say the following: If you don't create regular external backups of the files that interest you, you play with fire.
You can read this article on the backup that I wrote: 'Return to top your computer regularly and reliable' to http://www.computorcompanion.com/LPMArticle.asp?ID=314

When I close my laptop running 2 files and when I do the closing and after that I open the screen is white... what I need to do?
Hello
Let us try these methods and check if that helps.
Method 1.
You can try the last good known Configuration and check if that helps.
Using the last good known Configuration: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-in/windows7/using-last-known-good-configuration
Method 2.
You can use the restore points for Windows 7 to return to a previous state, when your computer was working properly.
System Restore: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/products/features/system-restore
Important: System Restore will return all system files not as documents, email, music, etc., to a previous state. These files of types are completely affected by the restoration of the system. If it was your intention with this tool to recover a deleted file to non-system, try using a file instead of system restore recovery program.
Let us know if you need assistance with any Windows problem. We will be happy to help you.
