  Was working on a major project and got a caveat that my internal HD was almost full. FCPX get very laggy. So I moved several large projects HD internal HD of the iMac to my external movie player, following all the instructions on how to do it. Everything is displayed on the external movie very good player, and these projects show is no longer on the local disk library, but not more space appears released on hard drive of my iMac. What I am doing wrong?

  Hello, my name is Alex Randazzo, and Ive been working on this project for the past 3-4 years and I am within a month of a feature by 2 1/2 hour of finishing. I have the project saved on several external hard drives, but I spent last week working on the project on A external hard drive, is no longer only than the other drives.

  I was working on my project, and all of a sudden a warning popped up message, warning THAT FCPX has detected a problem, exit FCPX now to save your project.

  I left FCPX, I have encountered this problem before and have had no problem leaving FCPX and restarted with the result of everything being fine.
  I did it once again.  But this time, when I opened FCPX back, my project disappeared! I don't know what to do!

  The project is loaded in the timeline panel, but the project is empty.

  The event is raising Dragons Movie0 and it is the only one who doesn't even have a box of purple and the star.

  

  WWhat version? What OS? Close the application. Go in library bundle and place the flexolibrary file in the trash. Relaunch the application. If the database rebuild you will have to try to open a recent backup.

  I want to change the creative projects of different external hard drives on my laptop. I have a large project stored on 5 TB HD I am working on on a trip and another project on a 500 GB SSD.

  I want the cache built on each HD own projects since my internal HD of the laptop is not large. How is that possible? First not allow cache file locations to be set individually for each project?

• Opening an archived project

  I have used the project archive in first 11 items to copy a project to a 132 GB memory stick (project is 85 GB, including all assets).  I then copied the project on the hard drive to another computer and when I opened it using first elements 11 on the 'new' PC chronology opened correctly, but none of the assets of the project were there.  The project assets are on the hard drive of the 'new' PC  How can I open the project, including all assets?

  Well, I don't really have a clear solution. I started a process of cleavage rule where I deleted half of my items and retried until I managed to narrow it down to one specific thing. Then I found that simply removing a single javascript command on a chassis mounting elements a (sym.play(1000) ();), the problem has been solved. Weird huh? Thanks again for you help.

  1 huge feature project pulling several hard disks, because we had so much pictures + music and audio files, etc.

  Now that the film is done, I want to back up only the files that made the cut.

  Is there a way to automate this, because hundreds of files are different HDs?

  In the thread above "Moving a project to another computer", it states that the assets should retain their file names and folder locations so that Premiere Pro can find and automatically linking them to their clips in the project and even though I'm only a novice user of PP is standard advice for all software.  However, I can't find anywhere of the tips on how to exchange a project from a hard disk to one another on the same computer.

  What I want to do is move that the media my network project files (L :) will Assembly computer C: drive as all advice here on hard drives must not to use network drives.  I copied the files on it but how do I replace the links to media files within the project PP which are currently pointing to the sub folders on my L:drive with a points to the same file name replacement, but with the path in the C: drive.  Sorry if it's a matter of numpties but I'm not the answer through research.

  Reason for delay of the project - for a reason that the sequence files were lost when I have opened the project so I had to reuse the last auto-save good despite the loss of some editing work and the project had also suddenly started to take an hour to load all related media.  In the light of the opinion on the use do not network drives decided to remove one of the possible causes before going further with the risk of losing the edited file...

  Now, when you do not move the files, the (absolute) paths in the PRPROJ file, will be more correct. The drive letter will be changed.

  When you open your project in its new location, you will get a box of question, 'Where is file _?' for the first active, where the link is now broken. Using the Finder, navigate to the folder where the missing first asset is NOW located and select this. PrPro will then look in this folder and automatically connect to all assets in this folder. If you have assets in several files, you need to repeat for each file, and the new, PrPro will connect to all assets in THIS folder. According to the folder/sub-folder hierarchy, you will have to repeat for all folders.

  When all assets have been re-issued of the moment, I would immediately a Save_As, increment the name of the project, in order NOT to overwrite the original files Project - just in case you need to return to that.

• Can barely hear my voice on the burned project.

  Hi, I'm new to

  Forum and hoping someone can help with a question I have. I finished editing my 1st project that I added a voice more. On the project, I hear the voice very well, but when I burn the project on my hard drive I hardly hear the voice but the music and original soundtrack volumes are very good. Hard drive, I burned the disc through burn IMG according to good advice and burned easily project, but still have the same problem with voice over. I missed a simple value somewhere? I use first Elements 8, Computor is a HP DV8, i7quad processor, ram 6 GB 500 GB.

  Welcome to the forum.

  I agree with Steve G. here. The Audio Mixer Panel is a great tool for Audio editing (at a level of the tracks - very important distinction) and monitor Audio resulting.

  The first thing I would do is to test your project, says Steve, with the opening of the Audio Mixer Panel. Watch two things very carefully in the Audio Mixer Panel:

  • Audio levels (presented in the form of green bars on the counters) and focus on the Narration/VO (voice over)
  • Watch the sliders for each track, especially for the Narration/VO - he moves his own?

  If the cursor moves on its own, then you accidentally added to this audio track keyframes, and they adjust automatically to volume of the track.

  Then you have your Narration/VO on your Narration track? If so, select all the Clips on this track and then drag them to another Audio track, which is empty. If you do not have one, you can create Track - Audio to accommodate the Clips. The purpose of this test is that some have had problems with the Narration, or the soundtrack of Audio tracks. These issues have never been identified and seem random and infrequent, they are happening, and I don't know exactly why. They are all two fixed securities are created automatically for all projects. They can also not be removed, as other tracks. They are convenient place the Narration/VO and music on, but that the placement is not required. When some seem to go off on their own, just the Audio from the other Audio tracks is going to fix it, whatever it is. On the off chance that you have been bitten by this random Bug, we can easily work around it, using a free another Audio Track.

• Extremely slow Webhelp & amp; project does not respond

  I have a file Webhelp containing 270 topics. Two weeks ago, I imported about 50 Microsoft Word files using the RoboHTML to get instructions from Webhelp. Each topic matter content favorite, which I deleted manually. I then had to repair broken links.
  It takes nine minutes to open the first topic. Subsequently, a minimum of four minutes. My sistem is not responding once I have visit four or five subjects.
  
  I uninstalled and reinstalled RoboHTML. I started one archive earlier (30/06/06) where I had already imported a dozen subjects, and I have the same problems.
  
  Technical support (Adobe) had my database since Thursday morning, but I'm short on time! Any suggestions will be appreciated!

  
  My project is working this morning. Today was my turn - I 'fixed it' today, or I started.

  I moved the project to my hard drive. I brought all the file names. I looked for the unnecessary tags. I deleted the cpd and xpj files. Nothing has changed.

  Colum, I followed your advice. I have createed a new project and import my subjects. I tested the project after each 10 htm file imports and the project has worked every time. The last 10 files imported included the CSS and it failed. I created another new project and import only the .htm files and used the default css. It works!

• Backups taking over 130 GB of 160 GB, getting 'Startup Disk Full' and the computer does not. Help!

  I fight for free space on one of my older iMacs work and I am to the point that we cannot use it because the startup disk is full.  I've recently upgraded to Snow Leopard OSX Lion (10.7.5) so I could update our video editing software, Adobe Premier.

  We run all our video projects on external hard drives, which does not have the boot disk space and are always good on the erasure of files from the Recycle Bin, audio, photo and video so that they are not get bogged down.  About this Mac shows my 160 GB boot drive contains 8.87 GB Audio, 7.69 GB, 6,49 Photos GB movies, 6.58 GB Apps and a huge 129.34 GB of backups.  I have time Machine backed up on an external hard drive and can't seem to find out where these files are to be removed from the startup disk.

  Turn off time Machine and restart does not clear space.  I have even made the Terminal kill command no matter what auto backups, deleted device and old library version in iTunes, etc.  and I have no backup label appears when I bring up the screen of star wars of the time Machine. I went through so many stages and suggestions to get this machine working again.  I understand these backups are supposed to remove themselves automatically, but why are there still first place if I save on the outside?

  PS I'm not very computer savvy, but I know my way around.  Additional suggestions are appreciated - please let me know if I need to provide more information.

• ACER ASPIRE 5560G BIOS ISSUE

  I bought an Acer Aspire 5560 g yesterday second hand, lappy has worked very well. Has been updated all the drivers was the BIOS. Installation suffered and then restarting the black machine projected. No HARD disk activity no display. Just a solid blue light on front bezel running fan. Connected to the monitor external and still nothing. All Ive read it sounds like watered installed BIOS. Can someone please give me a good step by step on how to reflash the BIOS on this machine using a USB? I have also reset cmos battery and reinstall the RAM.

  OK... First of all, Jack Merci for the help. After all else has failed... I decided to try the ram in a laptop, I had laying... around this laptop could not start... therefore true implemented a fix... the simplest tech support mode was what I should have checked in the early stages of the couple. Replaced the ram... and now I write in this forum of the Zombie Lappy... Thanks again Jack, you are tha man!

  I need to restore a laptop with windows Vista to its factory settings.  The computer was purchased at best buy and it has been implemented by them when it was purchased.  As much as I now it has not come with a Windows disc, and the owner of the laptop have not configured an image recovery 'drive '.  The owner has all the information in the laptop and he has a virus.  How can I achieve this without needing a kind of disk?

  If it is a Compaq and no DVD came with her, she should have a recovery Partition factory projected onto the hard drive reinstall Vista.

  Hi, okay so I have a dell inspiron with windows vista 32 bit and I am trying to install windows 7 64 bit, I followed all the instructions and everything works fine until it gets to finish install, after the first reset itstarts completing installation and then I get a blue screen with the 0x000007e error code. I tried to remove ram and installation with only 2 GB, I downloaded a new startup of windows 7 on a flash drive to see if the drive has been courrpt but I got the same error, I also tried to projecting my drive hard and still no luck. Any ideas?

  Check the BIOS settings and change the SATA AHCI option and check. Consult the computer manual or contact their support site.

• Premiere Pro cc gel 2015.4 on import AVCHD

  I recently upgraded from CS6 to CC2015

  10.9.6 version

  2 x 2.66 GHz Quad - Core Intel Xeon

  16 GB 1066 MHz DDR3

  After you import the 3rd batch of AVCHD .mts vid to my project through the media browser, I receive a perpetual pinwheel of death. I have the project on the hard drive with the OS and the cache on a second disc. I put the memory with 12 GB dedicated to the first and 4 for other applications.

  Should I go back to an older copy of first, upgrade the operating system, encode it prior to importing for the first time, etc.?

  Any help would be appreciated.
