My Sansa MP3 player does not connect to the Windows Media Player.

I connected several times using the same wires.  This time THAT WMP says "connect a device" in the upper right corner.  This is probably an easy fix.  Any suggestions?  Thank you.

Hi Larry O would be,.

You are able to open content in Sansa?

Method 1:

Run Windows Media Player troubleshooting utility library:

Method 2:

Open Windows Media Player, press the Alt key, check if the device is listed under Tools > options > devices. "Refresh list".

If not listed parameters run 'Windows Media Player' convenience store and check the status.

Open the troubleshooter in the Windows Media Player settings.

Hope the above information is helpful.

  • Windows Media Center extender on my XBOX works initially, but not after reboot of my XBOX. Error: Failed to connect to the Xbox 360 could not connect to the windows Media Center computer.

It's VERY odd and very annoying!

I set up my laptop next to my Xbox 360 with an Ethernet cable directly connecting the laptop to the XBOX, and the laptop is on our wireless network. The XBOX has access to the internet (shared through the laptop), and when I test the PC connection and the connection XBOX Live sound fine to all.

So I'll try to set up Windows Media Center, it works great! I "Add Extender", put the code to 8 digits. It passes through the installation, all works, no problems and WMC opens on the XBOX, I can go into my library, watch movies etc... works great!

However! As soon as I turn my XBOX off and back on, it will fail to connect to the WMC.

He says his 'find Windows Media Center PC' which seems to work fine, it goes to the ' Windows Media Center loading screen "contact...". ", and after about 10 seconds, I get an error"failed to connect the Xbox 360 could not connect to windows Media Center PC. Make sure that the PC is turned on and connected to the network.

I tried to configure the Extender repeatedly, whenever it works fine until I restart the XBOX... :/ - and its strange cause I still the internet connection (shared through the laptop) after turning on the XBOX, its really JUST Media Center which is screwing around.

She continues to keep trying to connect then repeatedly fails.

If I wanted to, I could re-configuration the WMC Extender EVERY TIME turn off the Xbox, which works the first time without fault, but that's all just stupid.

I can't really understand what is happening here... any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Kalyan,

From my research, this error message indicates that you have an old version of Samsung drivers installed on the computer.

Several clients are faced with this question after that they have updated the version of Android to 4.3, but the version of the driver is not updated.

I suggest you uninstall all traces of Samsung is installed in the list programs and then reinstall the device drivers Samsung from the link provided in the previous post.

To uninstall a program see the link below.

    Uninstall or change a program

Once you uninstall programs related to Samsung download and install the drivers for Samsung devices.

Another recent problem is Thunderbird does not connect with the server. I don't know if sent mail will go out, but I know I'm nothing receive. • Does not connect with the e-mail server after update.

Thunderbird ran an auto update yesterday. Then it just stopped working. It does not connect with the Comcast email server. An error message appears "Unable to connect" and "the connection was refused when attempting to contact I don't want to uninstall and reinstall for fear of losing my emails and address book. How can we get Thunderbird set, there is no tool in the toolbar to enable the debugging and correction of program errors.

    I use Thunderbird version 38.1.0.

    Thank you.

The problem solved itself, Thunderbird has just started working. I followed the thread suggested by Christ1 and found none of it applied. No malware, no browser, no certificate error security block. I did, however, in Thunderbird, under Tools/Options/General uncheck the button for "When Thunderbird launches, show the Start Page in the message box." I do know that if this helped, Thunderbird still do not access Comcast mail for hours after that, even with several stops and restarts.

    Until the next problem...

Airport utility shows green points on the AirPort Extreme and the Internet, but my my Mac mini does not connect to the internet. IPhones and 2 portable Windows connect very well, and see all the devices on the home network. The problem occurred after that PSI has swapped an ancient for a Comtrend CT5072T DSL modem. The airport connects using DHCP in Bridge Mode

    The router address is

    IPv6 automatically configures

Also updated the firmware of the airport; no change.

    Network preferences may be damaged.

Open the Finder. In the Finder menu bar, click go > go to folder

Type or copy paste the following text:

    / Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration

Click OK, and then move all files in the SystemConfiguration folder to the trash.

Restart your Mac. See if that makes a difference.

Your Mac will generate a new SystemConfiguration folder for you.

Then open AirPort Utility located in HD > Applications > Utilitiies

Make sure that both Internet and Extreme are green.
