  I don't really understand your question. The mass storage controller driver is available from the website of your computer mftr. (if you have a machine of brand OEM like HP, Dell, etc.) and is included in the card mother/chipset drivers OR you would get the driver from site of the card mother mftr. If you have a generic construction machine. You don't want to update these drivers from Microsoft Windows Update in all cases. If you installed Windows 7 and that you have not installed these drivers, this is your next step.

  General information on the drivers:

  Never get the drivers from Windows Update. Bring:

  1. site of the device mftr. ; OR
  2. site of the card mother mftr. If the material is on board; OR
  3. website of the OEM manufacturer for your specific machine if you have a PC OEM (HP, Dell, Sony, etc.).

  Read the installation instructions on the Web site where you get the drivers.

  To find out what hardware is in your computer:

  1. read all documentation that you got when you purchased the computer.
  2. If the computer is OEM, access the site Web of the OEM for your specific model machine and look at the specs (you'll be there to get the drivers anyway)
  3. download, install and run a program of inventory of the free system like Belarc Advisor or System Information for Windows.

  I have a Vaio VGN-FE780G. I recently did an update of the new installation of XP to Win7 Home Premium. He works especially OK except that I had two crashes, blue screen when I tried to install Norton 360 2010. I stopped trying and just downloaded the MS. antivirus program To track down the problem I checked the Device Manager. The only driver with an exclamation point is the mass storage controller. It says there is no driver installed. Where can I get this driver?

  I found the driver, saying he's looking for on my computer. He couldn't find it on the internet. I had to have it start to c:\ since I didn't know where it was kept. But eventually he found. I don't know if it was the cause of the blue screen. But I don't think I'll try to install again. I'll just use the MS. antivirus software

  I aso had this on a P500 when you perform a clean install of Win7.

  Go to the Toshiba website for your area and download the Toshiba Win7 drivers for the driver problem, you... P200 I found here - http://support.toshiba-tie.co.jp/windows7/download/Satellite_P200_32_au.htm

  There is a storage config atch here as well I think solved my problem in a few weeks ago...

  Re-installed Windows XP SP2 laptop respective, but one item in Device Manager is always crying out for drivers - "Mass Storage Controller". I seem to recall seeing the iSCSI initiator when Vista has been loaded, it is the same thing. Where can I get the drivers?

  Check if you have already installed the drivers for this device.

  I guess the mass storage controller is the same as Intel Matrix Storage Manager and it contains the SATA drivers.

  You can find it on the Intel page!

  Simply search on the Intel page and you should find the necessary driver!

  It seems that there is no chipset driver for this motherboard for use with Windows 7.

  If you aren't able to find a working driver for the manufacturer, you may not be able to run this version of Windows on this material.

  you will need an adapter and a player card that plugs USB.

  You can buy a bluetooth dongle in a local store or get one on ebay cheap!

  I have now for the past 5months tried to solve this problem, as I have no money to send the machine to Sony for repair, I tried all the tools Mrfix nothing worked it means removing lower the filter and tried to restart computer, many opportunities, I gave up and bought a portable hard drive and although I need my rear disc first of all it is completely fed workstation and even Device Manager for months and nothing has been able to recover it, only yesterday when I turned it on it gave the message that drivers Matashita BD - CMB UJ-120 has successfully installed and I was able to run the DVD, s and I even burned a cd of music just to see if it works and no problem, however I've turned off the laptop and turned it back and am once again to square so that the drive works however if I only install the drivers which I do not know how to access, there is little to soothing sites you can get rivers however all our full of bull & I know that an optical drive comes with the PC , but any ideas or should I just start the fires off the machine just for a good measure and buy a new CD/DVD-rom for the laptop... only another conclusion is that the son or looted, but I do not understand that as I only had the phone for a little over a year and a half gruff the CD/DVD drive would not break so fast?
