  This is a question which would probably respond by HP support, because it isn't really a Windows problem.

  Are you sure that the touchpad is not just turned off? Many laptops have switches, power switch, so you can rest your palm while typing one is not worry by pressing the key.

  Sometimes, there is a button above the key, a key on the Ko, or some have a stain on the pavement you waiting/tap/double tap/etc. to toggle the pad.

  If not, you could try to go on the site of HP and DOWNLOAD/reinstall assistance the SW for the touch pad.

  Hmm, it should always work. However, the priority may have changed. I noticed history sites seem to come up higher than many favorites.

  To make sure that the bookmarks are always enabled for automatic address entry drop-down bar, could check you the Options (whether):

  • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > privacy
  • type or paste Subject: preferences #privacy in the address bar and press enter

  In the section of the bar of address down, please confirm that 'Bookmarks' are always checked.

  I'm fighting a problem for a few weeks now with all the lights on the display starts flashing and the message please turn off the printer and turn it back on.   HP sent me a new printer that does the same thing.  The printer is an Officejet Pro 8600.  My computer is Windows 7.  I use a Belkin 750 db wireless router.  I talked to the service the customer several times with no results.  Did a hard reset of the printer, change the SSID of the router, because I think that one of my neighbors has the same router.  The thing most effective I did was change the channel to 6 which will operate for several hours until the display starts to Flash again.  Channels 1 & 11 starts blinking after a few minutes.  I know there are other people who have had the same problem.  I'm about to throw the thing in the trash.  My last printer brand X was set up the same way with no problems.  On the network, there are 2 iPads, smart TV, and an iPhone.  Need help please!
