  The elements of the start menu are a few shortcuts to the files on the C: drive you mention.  Done that caused all the elements of Start Menu to disappear?  This is sometimes caused by viruses that hide items on the computer, make sure that the computer is virus free, run a Malwarebytes scan on the machine.  If the machine is free virus that then I suggest that you do a system restore to a point just before the problem started.

• Downloaded attachments are now in as genericlly named ashx instead of their names and native format files. How to get back to normal?

  I'm running Firefox on a MAC with OS X 10.6.8 or when you download the files now come as a generic file 'attachment.ashx' instead of having their original name and the extension. I can change the extension to the original and the file opens but it of a pain to have to rename and change the extension for each download. It just started and I want to know how to get that back to the previous mode of download.

  Right-click on an empty part of the toolbar tab and choose "mode full-screen output.

  If you do not see the toolbar at the top of the page, move the mouse to the top and you will see, it seems.

  I bought a new Walkman - NWZ-E475 a few days ago. It's my third Walkman. I use the devices to download audio books from local libraries. Older devices work fine, but the new system said that the WMA audio books cannot be played on this. I can drag and drop them on the device by using Internet Explorer, but they will not play.

  So I guess that you could not choose an Aero theme? If necessary, this error message has been reported?

  Check that the themes service is running. in "search programs and files" type "services" (without the quotes). In the results of the programs, click Services. The Services window should open. Check that the "Themes" are listed and started (automatic).
