Yet, new laptop froze and crashed.  This time it does not restart.  Followed the instructions how to access recovery before contacting hp this morning.  No problem would discuss with my record shows laptop is out of warranty.  I contacted hp several months ago and was told something sent receipt copy scanned said said the recording had been updated to reflect the status of the guarantee of good. It's gotta be the worst laptop computer purchase ever, I spend most of my time trying to resolve slow performance issues and options of recovery because of the laptop is freezing or crashing.  Please can a representative competent HP contact me first to confirm the status of the guarantee has been corrected and secondly how do I return via laptop under warranty.

  • Photos turn incorrectly when loading in the widget gallery

It's weird and I can't understand why - but photos turn all different ways when loading in a widget to the gallery.  Some are upside down or sideways, for example.  I opened all preview images before loading, and they are all right to the top as it should.  I can rotate the thumbnails individually but it will take forever, and that still leaves the lightbox images at full size in their State of incorrect rotation.

I'm doing something wrong?  Is there something I can do to fix this or prevent it from happening?  I want to emphasize that it is only THE images, not all.  No real rhyme or reason as far as I can tell.

    Thank you!

This happens often with photos of smartphone or table, if the device is held "incorrect" (= from left to right, right to left).

Just try to re-save the images with an imaging software. There are applications that enable to reset the indicator of orientation within the image file.

  • DBActivateSQL

I have a table that looks like this

    Specification of Test assets Item_number...

    1111                     0

    2222                     1

    3333                     1

    4444                     1

If I run after the opening of the database.

    iTableHandle = DBActivateSQL (iDatabaseHandle, "SELECT * FROM tblTest WHERE active = 1 AND ItemNumber = '5555'");

    DBActivateSQL returns a value same 3 if I replaced with 4444 5555.

Should not DBActivateSQL returns an error because it did not find anything?  I want to fail if the user enters the number of wrong or is inactive.

    Paul,

I don't think that the function should give an error, it's simply not find anything.  It would give an error if the SQL statement is incorrect or if you were trying to access a column that does not exist, but not if your WHERE clause returns no value.   You need set up your DBBinds, then call DBFetchNext.  You might have a logic in your code to display an error if the first call to DBFetchNext does not return 0 (indicating no record not found) and then allow your user to enter a different number.

  • Optical drive internal appearing as a removable device

I recently bought an operation of Dell Latitude E6420 used Windows 7 Ultimate 64 - bit (SP1) and I am also very happy with it. But after I finished installing all the drivers that have been recommended since the Dell Web site, he developed an unusual problem: the optical drive (PLDS DVD +-RW OF THE - 8A3S) appears as removable material, even if it's not, and if I "eject" it, I need to restart the system before it works again.

This did not happen before on this machine and is the first time that I've ever known a problem like that, never. My mother and a friend also bought the same model at the same time - there is a similar problem on my mother (also Win 7 x 64) machine but not on the computer of my friend (8.1 Win x 64).

I figured that maybe that's a problem of driver, but re - install the driver from the optical device and even do a system restore didn't fix it. I also found some information of Microsoft Windows Hardware Dev Center Archive, which States:

    Incorrect configuration of SATA

Incorrect configuration of SATA may appear in the following situations:

    • If the system incorrectly identifies a SATA port internal as external, Windows disables LPM on this port, and therefore can not save on the port. In addition, Windows treats the internal non-removable device that is connected to this port as a removable device. For example, it appears in the device safely remove dialog box in the toolbar State system and in devices and printers.
    • If an external SATA port is not properly configured, it is possible for a device that is connected to the port to be considered non-removable and therefore do not attend the safely remove an instrument dialog box in the toolbar State system and in devices and printers.

If an internal SATA port is incorrectly configured as a port external SATA, a system vendor or administrator can fix without updating the BIOS OF THE system or the Windows software.

To work around this problem, you can disable external SATA support on a per track basis by setting the value of the TreatAsInternalPort registry key to 1, and then restart the system.

If the system has internal and external SATA ports, but a device that is attached to a port internal SATA appears in the dialog box safely remove devices in the system tray or in devices and printers, you should reset the registry key for the port.

I could not find the registry key mentioned and I am reluctant to change the registry without being certain of what it is I'm supposed to do. Someone solved a similar problem and any help please?

    Hi, Fatima.

I think that most portable DVD players are actually removable and should be displayed as such. "Eject" to disable the device, but pulling out and plugging it back in should restore the functionality.

Should I be not increasing the PGA rather than the LMS?

If my select statements are incorrect please let me know

    Concerning

    G.

Understood why Oracle recommends SGA increase

Parsed hard on nodes 1 and 2 were ok, 3.8% and 0.06% respectively

But in node 2, hard analysis is at 12.1%

As a result, the oracle of reason recommended this.

I still don't understand why the use of the LMS was not maxed out, however.
    I would have thought that:

    Select SNAP_ID, INSTANCE_NUMBER, USED_MB

    FROM (select SNAP_ID, INSTANCE_NUMBER, sum (round(bytes/1024/1024,0)) USED_MB

    of DBA_HIST_SGASTAT

    WHERE USED_MB > (by selecting round ((sum (VALUE) / 1024/1024/100) * 95, 0) in v$ sga)

    /

Would have returned at least one line.
Maybe I need to narrow it down to 90% instead of 95%

In any case I'll add memory on all nodes

  • where he auditioning cc store files peak?

    Hello

I'm under cc hearing under w8.1 pro 64-bit

in the preferences-> audio-> I activated the automatic generation of peak

well may I know where cc stores these files peak?

because I used total Commander and sought .pk and .pkf but nothing, there is no files with the extension in all my hard drives

    Thank you

Both of your statements are incorrect, I'm afraid. On large files, .pkf files can speed up the opening of their considerably, even if you don't notice big difference on a smaller.

MP3 files do not support .pkf files at all. If you think that you found them compared to an open file, it will be because that hearing created one for the decoded MP3 (IE a wav file) that she used - it cannot directly open MP3 files.

  • Problem-solving PC - screen border

KDL-46EX400.  I have my PC connected via an HDMI cable. While the PC is booting, it is clear that the signal fills the screen because of the color to the large black that surrounds the Dell logo.  Once the machine is fully charged, however, the TV shows 'screen select has Changed' self: (graph) and an about 1.5 "black border appears around the screen; That is to say the image is is no longer in the screen.

    I tried solutions:

Changing the resolution.  No matter what resolution, I put the PC, the border is of the same size. Edit: this statement was incorrect, the border size changes, but no resolution fills the screen

Play with the settings of the image on the TV.  Modes of zoom strech all the image beyond the screen size.  It is not a good resolution anyway, because the TV automatically returns the settings whenever the TV is turned on or the resolution is changed.

The Firmware was updated.  Has not changed anything.

I know this is a common problem, but none of the solutions I've read so far have worked for me.  Any ideas?  I can provide more information if necessary.

    Yes they both supported.

I was able to find a solution to the problem.  My video card and TV appearently don't synchronize signals of resolution very well.  I had to put overscan on 0 in the Catylist Control Center application, but for this I had to reduce my 1680 by 1050 resolution so that the option to change the overscan setting was not greyed out (it is grayed out because the CCC assumes that, because the relolution is set to one of the natives of the TV option should not be necessary).  Guess I'd rather have these 4 "(diagonally) as the additional pixels."

  • How to report a bug? is this a bug?

    Hi all

my Oracle 11 g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0 - 64 bit Production database does not allow me to run this command

    ALTER table my_schema. MY_TABLE_1
    Add CONSTRAINT FK_PASSAGGIO_STATO_OUT
    FOREIGN KEY (IDSTATODA, IDSTATOA)
    REFERENCES my_schema. MY_TABLE_2 (ID, ID);

But if I divide it into 2 constraints, it works:

    ALTER table my_schema. MY_TABLE_1
    Add CONSTRAINT FK_PASSAGGIO_STATO_OUT_DA
    FOREIGN KEY (IDSTATODA)
    REFERENCES my_schema. MY_TABLE_2 (ID);

    ALTER table my_schema. MY_TABLE_1
    Add CONSTRAINT FK_PASSAGGIO_STATO_OUT_A
    FOREIGN KEY (IDSTATOA)
    REFERENCES my_schema. MY_TABLE_2 (ID);

someone can tell me if this is a bug and where can I report it?

    Thank you

It seems that you have two columns which both refer to the primary key of another table, independent of the other.
This means that your statement is incorrect on the conceptual level, and you need two constraints.

Thus, it is not a bug and Oracle is right.

  • Adobe Arabic do not call the final form of the Arabic text?

    Hello

I'm creating a journal that is mostly in English, but has an article in Arabic. I use InDesign CS5.5ME and uses Adobe Arabic for the Arabic text 2.006.

I have a situation in which it appears that InDesign reads a diacritical mark in the middle of a Word as an indication that the word has come to an end.

In the screenshot below, you can see that the heh ending at each of these four words is preceded by a dal with one or two diacritics. It seems that the diacritics speaker causes InDesign to assume the word is finished, and it is affecting the heh using its isolated form. What my editor tells me, it's the heh must be set using its final form.

    Screen Shot 2013-07-08 at 4.42.08 PM.png

When I change the police for another font with Arabic characters - say X Davat or Times New Roman - the heh correctly takes its final form.

This leads me to believe that some police - perhaps connected to the diacritic - statement is incorrect. In InDesign settings appear to be correct (otherwise, the problem would appear in other fonts, too). Can anyone else reproduce this problem? Does anyone know if Adobe Arabic 2007 solves this problem (assuming it's a bug)?

    Thanks for any help.

    Thanks for your help, Miguel.

For anyone who has followed this thread, Miguel helped me discover that InDesign was load an earlier version of the police. While I thought that I had loaded v2.006, I actually had not, so InDesign 'found' a version and that in its place. I'm still trying to understand loading where the old version, but now, when I'm sure I have loaded version 2.006, InDesign built correctly the words using the correct characters.

To find out which version of the police has been actually used in my paper, I opened the find font dialog box and clicked on the button more than information - a feature that I had forgotten in the past, but will rely on a lot from that time.

When I remove the 'where contragentid = 1' seems to do with above query:

  • Question about CUDA and SLI

So, I know that SLI makes no difference in the first, but my question is - does it has harmful effects? For example, if I have two GTX580s SLIed on my system, is it I always get all the benefits a CUDA in the first card or the SLI will reduce somewhat the effect?  Ideally, I would like to have a system with CUDA support and a 3 monitor configuration.  As far as I KNOW, with Nvidia cards, the only way to get three monitors is to have two cards in SLI.

I think that you would break the connection SLI to get first and MPE even work at all.

This statement is incorrect.  I ran two nVidia cards and no identical cards in my system for a demo of three monitor.  They're apparenly should use similar or perhaps even the same driver.

  • Help query MySQL DW

I am fairly new to DW and MySQL. I'm developing what I thought was a simple app search and results, but am apparently having a problem of program logic

I have a form with 2 radio buttons, the code below:

    < name of the form = "card_search" id = "card_search" method = "post" action = "card_search_results.asp" >
    < p >
    < label >
    < input < % if (CStr ((rsCardCatBaseball.Fields.Item("catID").) (Value)) = CStr("1")) then Response.Write ("CHECKED"): Response.Write("") % > type = "radio" name = "RadioGroupCardCat" value = "1" / >
    Baseball < / label >
    < br / >
    < label >
    < input < % if (CStr ((rsCardCatBaseball.Fields.Item("catID").) (Value)) = CStr("2")) then Response.Write ("CHECKED"): Response.Write("") % > type = "radio" name = "RadioGroupCardCat" value = "2" / >
    Football < / label >
    < br / >
    < input name = "submit_card_cat" type = "submit" id = "submit_card_cat" value = "Submit" / >
    < /p >
    < / make >

When testing using the URL GET param. I see that the RadioGroupCardCat var = 1 (baseball) or RadioGroupCardCat = 2 (football) go directly to the page card_search_results.asp. However, I can't understand how to capture the values of RadioGroupCardCat (1 or 2) in my SQL queries. I currently have 2 recordset of applications (rsCardCatBaseball and rsCardCatFootball) below.

    rsCardCatBaseball:

    SELECT tblcard.cardyear, tblcardvend.vendname, tblcard.cardnum
    OF tblcard, tblcardcat, tblcardvend
    WHERE RadioGroupCardCat = 1 AND tblcardvend.vendid = tblcard.vendid AND tblcardcat.catid = tblcard.catid

    rsCardCatFootball:

    SELECT tblcard.cardyear, tblcardvend.vendname, tblcard.cardnum
    OF tblcard, tblcardcat, tblcardvend
    WHERE RadioGroupCardCat = 2 AND tblcardvend.vendid = tblcard.vendid AND tblcardcat.catid = tblcard.catid

"catid" corresponds to the field in MySQL table with a value of 1 (baseball) or 2 (football). I am using ASP/VBScript, so here's how the variable is declared in the variable box DW Recordset.

    FOR rsCardCatBaseball:

    NAME
    RadioGroupCardCat

    DEFAULT VALUE
    1

    RUNNING VALUE
    Request ("CATID")

    For rsCardCatFootball:

    NAME
    RadioGroupCardCat

    DEFAULT VALUE
    2

    RUNNING VALUE
    Request ("CATID")

The problem is that I get the same results for both queries. The rsCardCatFootball query results are identicle to the rsCardCatBaseball query. Don't I just assumed to have 2 recordsets separate in the results page so that it went from a value and other RS Gets the value else? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks for the reply. I finally found the answer to my question at:

    http://www.Adobe.com/support/UltraDev/building/multiple_param_search/multiple_param_search 05.Marco html

The declaration of variable in my SQL and DW statement were incorrect. I highly recommend the tutorial above for everyone new to DW and MySQL. The link above specifically explains how to create a variable to be used in a DW/MySQl app. thank you!
