• Windows 7, showing all the contents of the sub folder when I go to My Documents. How can I change this?

  When I open my My Documents folder on one of my machines on Win7 and look at the list of files, it shows me each file in My Documents and any subfolder in my documents, all in one huge list.  I can't understand how to do this do and just show me the files in this folder and show me records void folder names as he normally does.

  I tried affecting organize by folder and explodes the files correctly, but they are not sorted.  I have change to organize by name and it sorts them alphabetically but then he returned to show me all the files in any subfolders.  Help please. :)

  Well, I discovered that the problem was the sort by option.  I didn't know there is reorganize by and also sort by.  Arrange by has been properly defined but sort by has been set so far for some reason any.  I changed reorganize by folder and then sort by name, then everything has started to work very well.

  Try these:
  METHOD 1:
  Back up all the files on a USB Flash drive or an external hard drive and re - install Windows on the hard disk of laptop.

  METHOD 2:

  Try partitioning your hard drive and put your files there.

  1. Start menu search: 'drive '.
  2. click on create and format hard disk partitions
  3 right-click the Local Disk (C) and select shrink.
  4. According to the size of the files, we could save, choose the size you want to reduce (1000 MB = 1 GB)
  5. right click on the new "unallocated space" and create the Partition. (Name it BACKUP or something)
  6. place all your important files on the new partition, and then, when you reinstall Windows, select the Local Disk (C)
  DO NOT select the Partition you you saved on files.

  I use Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.

  I went to the Start button. All programs | Accessories | Run, and ran the following command...

Running this command opens the "User accounts" window, on which I unchecked the option for "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer".  Then, I chose a particular user that I had named "Auto-connect" and entered the password of this user so that this user 'AutoLogon' could be connected automatically on every time the PC boots.  This is how I want to just it.

  The "Automatic logon" user has limited privileges, I want my users to be able to and sign out and then sign in as a user with higher privileges.  Currently, when I try to do it by clicking the Start button, and then selecting Shutdown | Logoff, this brings me to the kind of a "Welcome screen" that displays a a separate icon for each user name which I configured on this PC.

  I really prefer if instead of indicating the name of each user configured at this point, that Windows would require the user to type in here a user name valid (rather than just picking from the list).

  If someone can tell me if this is possible (without giving up the ability to automatically connect my 'Automatic login' user), I would really appreciate it.

  Run the policy editor gpedit.msc, then look for the item "Interactive logon". Now, select the item "do not display last user name."

• Windows will not display the programs that are installed in the area Add / Remove programs

  I tried to install firefox, then I change my web page. It reported a script error when loading. The program runs, but not right so I removed and tried again with the same result. It runs in the safe is no no not sure what it is.

  Now I can't run add it / remove programs in the Control Panel, it will be no fill. I can leave this mode and run what seems normal.

  2. you receive an error message when you access Add/Remove programs?

  3. do you still receive error loading Firefox?

• installed elements 14 on new pc using windows 10 and all the menu commands are grayed out.

  I then installed on the same pc 12 elements, and that's OK--that is of the menu commands everything works as expected

  This can happen if you are using the eLive currently.

  If you are in the Organizer, try clicking on the Media tab and if you are in the Photoshop elements Editor, click the Quick tab and see if it helps.

  HELP PLZ!

  We use the file dialog box to open the folder of the disk file network hard. Window XP showed the path UNC path, but when we run our application (developed in vba) on window 7, full unc path has been established instead of only last name of the folder.
  example of... UNC path \\abcd\abb\abfolder in window XP file dialog shows "abfolder" and then if we see in looking in then hierarchical set of path can be seen
  but the file in window 7 dialog box shows all the way "\\abcd\abb\abfolde" as it is...
  Please suggest if some way where we can display in the file dialog box in the window 7 same folder in UNC path that showed before in XP.
