My subscription on CC migrating to a new computer

I'm about to upgrade, one of the computers where I installed my suite CC.  How should I proceed to migrate to the new computer?

If you do not need cc program on your old computer, open the cc application and sign out.  You can then uninstall your programs and app.

on your new computer, download the cc app (starting to download one of the programs of cc).  Download and install your cc through the cc app progrmas.

You don't want to think in terms of migration when it comes to Adobe software.  You must install using installation files.  There is no need to have installed CS5 unless you plan to use it.  There is no way to upgrade of CS5 at CC, there is a reduced plan should soon be interrupted.  You get the first annual subscription for almost half of the normal price.

  • Should I update my old computer (Mavericks) before migrating to my new computer (El Capitan)

I need to update my old computer (Mavericks) before migrating to my new computer (El Capitan)?

It is not necessary. Migration wizard will allow you to move your files always your old Mac running OS X Snow Leopard or a later version, if OS X Mavericks is valid. See-> move your content to a new Mac - Apple Support

  • Migrated to the new computer - now Creative Cloud Desktop Application will not work

    Hello

After migrating to a new computer (Mac Book Pro running OS 10.9.4) I can't run any of my creative cloud apps. When I try to start, I get a prompt to download and reinstall the Application Manager. After installation, the creative cloud dropdown tray is completely empty without list of applications or him sign-in fields, and I get the same prompt when you try to start an application.

I tried reinstalling several times, so to delete the opm.db file but still no luck.

I'm completely stuck here, what more I can try?

Problem solved by a very helpful guy on the support chat!

(I'm sorry, but I can't say what was really the cause that it was fixed by remote access)

  • question: How can I open CS5.5 after the migration to the new computer laptop w / Mac OS 10.8.4?

question: How can I open CS5.5 after the migration to the new computer laptop w / Mac OS 10.8.4? I got a dialog box indicating that I had to run Java SE runtime (or something to that effect), when I approved it, then try opening cs5.5 Indesign, the program closed unexpectedly at startup. If I uninstall program & reinstall, my documents will be free, or are they toast? Help!

    Hi rabbit Art,.

Migration from one machine to the other problem most of the time. So I recommend you to reinstall the software. Concern is that none of your documents will be made.

  • Software adobe migrating to a new computer.

I use v5 CS5 and Lightroom. I understand that these are "only licensed" products i.e. for one computer only. I currently use an Apple MacBook Pro laptop and I'm about to buy a new iMac desktop computer. I will plan to use the Migration assistant in Apple to transfer all my files to the new iMac, but I want to know is my Photoshop & Lightroom software correctly transfer under the present? Obviously, given the expenditure in question I don't want to buy these products again.

    Laughing out loud

    1. If you no longer have your adobe programs on your old computer, open them and click Help > deactivate.  (you can uninstall then.)

2 install your programs adobe on your new computer and activate with your serial number.  do not migrate.

  • Address book will not migrate to the new computer

Checked my profile and it shows all of my... .mab files but when I click "Address book" in you bird, there is nothing there. Have you tried exporting/import profile but same problem occurs. Thoughts?

Never mind... solved myself! Thanks anyway... (and BTW, I didn't just "carry on my mail"...) I actually copied my complete profile... have done it before, so I'm not a newbie... it was just a glitch in the newcomputer I solved.)

  • Migrating to a new computer

Previously I stored all my files image on an external Firewire drive, but I am due to receive a new computer today and I would like to move these files to an internal SATA drive. Can I just copy files on the SATA and then re - import the catalog even inside Lightroom? I always saved data to files in the past, so I hope that all the data are in the files.

Do NOT re - import the images!

Copy the catalog and images after I installed LR. LR will show you a question mark on all the issues, that it can not find. Right click on the folder above and that it points to the new location.

  • Migrating to a new computer - PSE library on external drive

    Hi all

I just bought a new computer today and have already downloaded and installed PES 9. My library of items lives on an external drive connected by USB. I have not yet open PSE on the new machine, but I do not have the external drive now hanging on to her.

What should I do to ensure that the PES 'find' my library? It will be obvious once I open the PES? I guess I have to point to the library somehow; can someone tell me which file we need?

    Thank you!

Maybe this isn't a problem, as in the most recent versions of the EPS, the number of real player serianl is what the PSE uses and that has not changed.

If it seemed to be a problem, change your drive letters so that the external drive on the new computer is F.

  • Assistant Migration - copy a folder after a migration to the new computer

    Hi-

Today I created my new MacBook Air. I used Migration Assistant to transfer, wireless, my old MacBook Pro. I didn't have enough room so I disabled my music folder. After the migration is complete, I made little place on my new Air and represented the Migration Assistant. This time, I chose only the music folder. But the problem I have is that, at this stage, I am prompted to overwrite my account or duplicate... I don't want to do either... I want to just copy this folder on my existing account.

Sorry, this should have been posted under El Capitan. Just realized.

  • My CS6 has migrated to a new computer without turning off

I've screwed up. I migrated my CS6 bought my old Mac Pro 1.1 for my new Mac Pro 4.1 without disabling it. The old computer has disappeared.

I noticed that I'm getting now reviews a trial period of creative cloud? I think it's because it detects now that I use more than 2 computers (my laptop, my old Mac Pro and my new Mac Pro.)

Can I go back to disable my CS6 on my old Mac Pro online?

You might have a problem due to migration.  Adobe software must be installed, the transfer does not work.

As far as going deactivation, you will need to contact Adobe support via chat and ask them to reset your activations.

To the link below, click on the still need help? the option in the blue box below and choose the option to chat...

  • CS5.5 Migrating to a new computer

I have an iMac that I migrated CS5.5 premium for my new MacPro. Using the migration wizard, everything seemed to go well. When you try to open any program in the sute it will open and crash or opens any. I tried to reinstall the suite, but it still does the same thing. Any help is appreciated.

    Creative Suite cleanup tool

Run it, reinstall correctly. Also, check your permissions to the user on the Application Support files, preferences, and the library and manually delete the preferences of Adobe. You made a mess by pulling this kind of things from your backup.

  • I'm about to migrate to a new computer. My current installation of Thunderbird has the profile screen choose old allows me to choose an individual mailbox.

I could on my last new install of thunderbird to find instructions on how to recreate the start screen "choose profile" instead of having all the mailboxes are displayed on a screen. Is it still possible?

    Use Profile Manager.
Create a shortcut on the desktop for easy access.
    All the information here:

Select the name of the profile
Make sure that you uncheck the "don't ask at startup".

    Click on "start Thunderbird.

In the future, when you start Thunderbird, it will ask the profile you want to use.

  • Personal folders not visible in Thunderbirds after the migration to the new computer

I moved my computer to a new Thunderbird profile (and edited profiles.ini to point to the saved profile. Now, in Thunderbird on the new machine, I have the records box receipt, feels Local, Trash, but file folders with my registered and categorized mail subfolders is not visible in the left panel. It seems to be intact in the Mail/Local folders/Personal Folders.sbd/Archives.sbd folder, simply not visible when I run Thunderbird.

What should I do to get these folders and their subfolders again.

You store the mail belonging to "a folder for each email account" in the profile?

In other words, have you changed the "Local Directory" setting for these accounts?
