  I install SSD on the main drive Bay. If I don't need the HARD drive storage space, I'll just move to the disk bay secondary school (I assume that my laptop has two bays for HARD drives).

  Your laptop has a 2.5-inch HDD Bay. There is no WSSD slot so you can have a single hard drive, unless you are willing to give up the optical drive, in which case you can use an optical drive for hard drive adapter. If you want to use a SSD put in the slot 2.5 internal and a hard drive in the Bay optical adapter.

  Hey everybody!  I am new to this forum and would like some direction. My hard drive crashed and was replaced. I was able to recover some of the old drive and the technician put my apps on the new drive but they are not operable (error 1) and require reinstallation. For CS6 uninstall programs is found on the disk (they are just aliases"). They installed the new 10.11 OS on my replacement drive.  I have my serial number and installation disks, but can not uninstall the product safely. I tried Adobe Creative tool for cleaning of clouds, but applications are still there. I also tried to reinstall on the existing master CS6 Collection, but it is hindering and freezes. Help, please! I would be so grateful! Thank you!

  Try to delete the files listed below if you want to remove adobe CS6 apps of your machine it should help:

  1-go to: Finder > Applications > utilities > (delete these two files - creative cloud Adobe and Adobe Application Manager, as appropriate)

  2 - right click on the Finder icon, then select the "Go - To" folder.

  3. you will get a text box, type in the following command and then press 'return '. ("Not to be missed ~ symbol")-~ / library (it will open the folder of the user's library.)

  ~/Library > application Support > Adobe (this trash folder)

  ~ / Library > Cache > Trash all Adobe files and folders from here

  ~ / Library > Preferences > trash all Adobe files and folders from here

  4. new > right-click on the icon in the Finder and select "go to" folder option. > you will get a text box, type in the following command, and then click 'Return' key. / Library (it will open the library system folder.)

  / Library > application Support > Adobe (this trash folder)

  / Library > cache > Trash all Adobe files and folders from here

  / Library > Preferences > trash all Adobe files and folders from here

  5 - restart the machine and empty the trash

  6 - Download and reinstall CS6 from here: download Creative Suite 6 applications

  I have a new Toshiba stor.e 1 TB HARD drive and was transfer photos and music to it and all was fine, I ejected it but when I plugged it back I get the message:

  F: is not accessible
  Data error (cyclic recovery control)

  A quick search and it says that run cmd and chkdsk but that simply says:

  The type of the file system is RAW
  CHKDSK is not available for RAW drives

  Please can someone help?

  According to the article in the Microsoft Knowledge base, the data error (cyclic redundancy check) - indicates that the operating system has found a car with bad sectors or some other intermittent problem.

  In my opinion, you should go to disk management and check if the external HARD disk is listed:

  -> Panel-> administration-> computer management tools--> disk management

  If his list, you can change the file RAW to NTFS format
  Then you can perform a chkdsk command.

  But you lose the data, change the file format.

  As far as I know, using the command: + convert DriveLetter: /fs:ntfs + (drive letter + should be replaced with the drive letter of the USB HDD) should not lead to data loss

  Go to computer stores, get an external hard drive of 1 TB capacity. Ask for one that you can just simply copy and paste to transfer files.

  I have a. Digital WD Elements. 1 TB vapacity. It works very well. No action of fancy, complicated to transfer, just copy and paste or drag and drop files.
