My touch screen does not work. Sometimes, and other times I have to reboot. I restored my phone, but it still has the same problem. Any suggestions?
The following information is taken from the HT201406 of the Apple KB article:
If the screen of your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch does not respond to touch
If your touch screen responds slowly, inconsistently, or not responding at all, follow these steps.
Check your touch screen
Make sure your hands are clean and dry, then try the following steps:
- If you have a case or a protective screen on your device, try removing it.
- Clean the screen with a soft, slightly damp, lint cloth.
- Unplug your unit.
- Restart your device. If you are unable to restart it, you can force restart your device.
Adjust your settings for tactile 3D
If you have an iPhone 6s or later that does not properly respond to tactile 3D press, you can adjust the settings:
- Go to settings > general.
- Click Accessibility > Touch 3D.
- Then set the sensitivity of the setting.

My wife's parents bought a Toshiba Qosmio DX730 (model PQQ11A). They have recently upgraded to Windows 8 and the touch screen does not work now.
The problem is lack of drivers (the monitor driver reports as a generic PnP monitor).
I have went on the Toshiba site and selected downloads driver for the appropriate model and installed a number of drivers, including recommended NVidia display drivers. There is no drivers on the site that seem to install support for Toshiba touchscreen.
Are there no drivers available for this model Windows 8? If not, is there another solution? If Yes, where can I find them. Any help very appreciated because they have nice and bought computer Windows 8 so they could use the touch functions.
On the page of the Toshiba UE driver you can find drivers for Win 8.
As far as I know that you will install the Toshiba display driver for the touch function works correctly.

Welcome to the HP support forum. Asus and Chrome are not HP, touch screen works on my machine HP with IE, Firefox and the new browser Windows 10 called Edge. I think that you need to update to Chrome.

Also, I guess the problem described is related to busy BONE.

After searching for and buying touch screen FT200HQL, it does work with my HP Pavilion laptop dv7-5000, Windows 7, 64-bit. I have the USB cable is connected (even if it says that it is optional in user's Guide - not an option if you want the touchscreen to work). I tried it with an Acer, Gateway and an another HP Pavilion laptop (all Win 7), & it works perfectly with them, but not w / mine. All my drivers are up to date. (Although there is not driver site Acer for the FT200HQL for Win 7 & I don't think that what they have listed as a driver for Win 8 is a pilot). A Microsoft Search to ensure the compatibility of the FT200HQL compatible shows and there's nothing I should do. Help, please! I really like the monitor & don't want to send again, but I bought it mainly for the touch screen feature.

- When was the last time that the two have worked?
- Remember to no particular change in the device before the show?
- Since the touch screen does not work, you are able to use the options settings?
The device requires the updated drivers for the volume and the touch screen. I suggest to follow the methods below and check.
Method 1: Run the troubleshooter of material and check if that helps.
a. type in the right edge of the screen, and then click Search.
(If you use a mouse, point to the upper right of the screen, move the pointer of the mouse down and then click find.)
b. enter Troubleshooting in the search box, type or click Troubleshooting, and then press or click on hardware and sound.
c. press or click on hardware and devicesand follow the instructions on the screen. You may be prompted for an administrator password or to confirm your choice.
Method 2: Update the drivers
Step 1: Update the driver through Device Manager
a. press the Windows key + X , and then click Device Manager
b. expand driver Sound
c. make a right click driver, and then click Update driver software
Step 2: Install the Windows updates pending
To check the updates:
Open Windows Update by hitting on any fly in the right edge of the screen (or, if you are using a mouse, pointing to the corner bottom right of the screen, move the mouse upward), tapping or clicking on settings, tapping or clicking change PC settingsand then by typing or clicking on update and recovery.

If updates are found, tap or click install updates.
Read and accept the terms of the license and then press or click Finish if the update requires it.
Restart the computer for the updates to be applied.
Step 3: Visit the website of the manufacturer of the device support and install the latest drivers for the sound and touch to Windows 8 for the same model of aircraft.

I heard there was a reset function in Windows 10 but I really didn't think he would do anything. The touch screen did not work when I originally did a new install of Windows 10 so why would it now? But he did. My touch screen works well and even better, he deleted loads of disk space.
To simply type "reset" in the search and recovery option returns to the update & security. 'Start' this PC with Reset and select this option to remove all. After about an hour or two, my computer was fully functional. The downside was having to reinstall applications and files, but is not a major concern.
Less than two months ago, I upgraded my HP Jet Windows 7 to 10. Over time some questions popped up (random apps that could not be opened, etc.) so I decided to do a full reset, deleting the files from the user. Once the 'install' process is complete he brought me to the initial configuration for Windows 10 screen, asking me my keyboard and language preference. He would not accept any contact entry. I rebooted it and he went to the advanced configuration where I could use the touch screen to do a complete reset. That has not changed anything. I found the info on the HP website and did a reset of the BIOS. That has not changed anything. I got an OTG cable, but was not able to get a keyboard work. I did, however, get a mouse works and has managed to create a new user and login. However, the touchscreen does not work in Windows. I was able to get into the settings and looked at the Device Manager settings. There was only a mouse driver listed under Human Interface. I also noticed a number of question marks in the subtopic of the processor drivers.
I was able to use the OTG cable to try to re - install Windows 10 from a USB key. When a similar initial settings (language, keyboard) screen broke, I couldn't use the touchscreen. Later, I created a USB with Windows 8.1 thinking he might have a better chance. The same problem. He does not touch inputs. And with a key USB installed via the OTG cable, I can't launch a mouse at the same time.

The machine didn't come with a stylus, so I'm not sure if the touchscreen works or not.
When the machine is in tablet mode touch screen is unresponsive to a contact with a finger. I tried a pointing device of a Windows CE handheld that has a touch screen, but it does not work on the touch screen of the R10.
The touchscreen should be enabled or that I have to get a Toshiba stylus?

The display panel works as a touch sensitive digitizer screen.
You need the stylus to use the touch screen in tablet mode.
