    There is really no answer 'complete '.  Many old card mother "might" have the driver already in Microsoft and could appear in Windows Update.

    In common practice, no, Microsoft does not send the driver.  You need to get yourself

    The computer manufacturer---> motherboard---> card manufacturer manufacturer control motherboard chipset.

    Follow this order, check with:

    (1) the computer manufacturer

    Hello

    I got a L10 for 18 months. Under the guarantee, I got a replacement motherboard mounted. Everything has been ok so far. A USB port will not recognize devices, a port is ok, but randomly turns off a device attached to it and comes up with the message "USB device not recognized". The third port is ok all the time.

    Any solutions or suggestions?

    I guess there is not enough power on the USB ports and external devices may not work correctly. It is not easy to say why this happens, but there may be a problem of welding.

    I recommend you contact the service again as soon as possible.

  • My USB ports do not recognize my external devices

    Hello

    My USB ports are a complete mess. My external drive and my USB is not recognized in one of the ports, my mouse is recognized only in 2 of them, my cam and my mobile are recognized throughout. The external drive, USB key, and mouse already worked in all ports, but stopped working after I sent the PC to the store; Apparently, they did do a very good job.

    Could you help me please? The main problem is that I have everything in my external drive and cannot transmit information of my laptop anywhere.

    Thank you...

    For reference, the link to the Windows Vista Compatibility Center is included below:

    Then, if the external hard drive is not detected in Device Manager, please check if the external drive is detected in the management of the computer:

    You can check this by going to: start then click on computer
    When it is connected and switched on, the drive should appear as a drive letter on the computer (ie: drive E:, F: or another letter.) An Autorun window may also appear if the drive is detected.

    If the external drive does not appear, please check the following:

  • Installed Windows & 32 Bit drivers and USB ports don't DO NOT WORK.

    I bugh a laptop HP Pavillion 14 TS who came to preinstall Windows 8.1 64-bit I hate so wiped the drives and installed Windows 7 32 bit and now I have a big problem.  None of my network drivers work and 2 uSB ports where I plug in my mouse and other devices of SB to do more work.

    I did a back up of the established SW leader who has all the HP dvers for my laptop but will not install the network and video of divers. And when I try to install the drives, I get the error message saying that they are not compatible with this version of Windows.

    I loked on the HP site under my model of laptop that s as above, but HP don't do my notebook drivers for Windows 7 32. And I looked on both the Realteck site for network wireless Realteck and Ethernet Realteck drivers but none of them work or install on my OS. Intel video drivers do not work either. So I'm really stuck one I can not return to 8.1 Windows as if that 32-bit Windows 7 works on my laptop but most of my drivers is not compatible with the operating system and I don't want not to install 64-bit Windows, I like 32-bit.

    Drivers that do not work on Windows 7 32-bit are:

    Realteck RTL8188EE 802 - 11 b/gn witeless lan

    Die Ethernet Realteck and

    Intel High definition graphics driver

    That don't work at all under Windows 7 32 bit because they are the only 64-bit drivers.

    So can you please post me a link network bth and drvers of graphics from Intel that works with my laptop. I tried many different drivers Realteck and raphics for Windows 7, but none of them DOES not work on my system. And none of my USB ports are no longer works. So, how can I fix this?

    Hello:

    Should be no problem to get W7 32 bit to work on this model.

    Just use all the drivers and software from the HP Probook 450 G0 on your model, except the Audio, BIOS and firmware files.

    Your model uses only the Intel HD graphics driver.

    The first pilot, you need to install the Intel chipset installation utility and reboot.

    Audio: Accept the agreement.  Download and install the driver first on the list.

    If some ports work and others do not, it is most likely a hardware problem, not a Windows.

    Remove the Vista updates; two ways to do this:

    1. a System Restore to before the updates:

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > System Restore > restore time/choose your own date > next

    If you use Norton, disable it before using the system restore.

    If it is impossible to enter the Normal Mode, do a Safe Mode system restore:

    Press F8 at the startup/power and the list of startup options, use THE ARROW key to select Safe mode > and then press ENTER.

    System restore steps according to the info above.

    Also:

    2. click on start > right click on computer > properties > Windows updates down the lower left corner > updates installed in the lower left corner in the next window

    > then click the one that you don't want > uninstall will appear at the top > uninstall it.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, on the page where you clicked "Installed updates", click on change settings at the top left corner it
    > Change update settings in the next page of AutoUpdate to "check for updates but let me choose etc" > OK ".
  • USB ports won't recognize new hardware
    Windows 7 Home Premium
    My USB (front and back) ports ceased to recognize new devices, including readers of the pen, much older work OK. Whenever I plug them in, it tries to load a driver, then reports that no driver can be found. This isn't a hardware problem, as all devices work fine under Linux (Ubuntu 10.4) on the same computer. Deviice managed shows also some "unknown devicesE that is"failed to start"or the lack of pilots.
    Similar problems were reported in other threads and I have tried to uninstall all devices of the USC (only prevented my mouse to work!) and looking for the top and bottom of the filters (absent). Any advice?
    Hi Chris - and anyone else who is still looking for a solution to this common problem.
    I found the solution for my system - it was in one of the many similar threads. I moved the C:\windows\system32\DriverStore\infcach.1 file to the desktop. (It would be possible to remove it, but even if I took possession of him and gave myself the full control, I was unable to do so).
    Restart, caused a new file to create, much larger than the original. (There was also a file called OldCache.000 which I vainly tried to rename). I then opened the applet devices and printers in Control Panel and was able to install both my printer/scanner (it took two goes, one for each function) and my USB PCI card. If all goes well...
    I guess there are several causes for this problem, and all the proposed solutions work for someone.
    Thanks for your help - and good luck to everyone is still struggling with the problem.
  • USB ports don't work, help!
    It all started when I followed the advice to uninstall usb ports because I wanted to put back front usb midi or usb keyboard. But Windows 7 64 bit not acknowledged on the back usb port, so I uninstalled usb ports and now system always tells me it can't find the driver for any usb ports 7. Now Win can not install any usb device and the keyboard or the mouse wireless, I also tried another mouse. In the work of bios mouse and keyboard.
    Just don't tell me to install the new copy of Windows.
    I tried really many solutions: remote connection I tried, again uninstall usb and install asus motherboard drivers, no luck.
    He acknowledged I usb controller but always after I connect it will automatically try to install the mouse driver and it says "Unknown device" "device driver software was not properly install.
    Restore point has tried, without success because of the mistake, that he can't go back.
    Recovery Console has tried, all solutions of no repair no chance.
    Watched a lot of solutions on the net, could not find the right answer.
    Tried to delete usbstor and usb recording
    Open gpedit to prevent Windows to automatically search for driver software, no luck.
    I finally got from nearby ps2 mouse then tell me how to fix the usb ports!
    Maybe is something deeper in the Windows system or is it something so simple?
    Help, please.
    Yes, but I think it's good now, I knew it was something simple ridiculous, feeling so stupid now, I almost tried everything.
    Seems I was missing USB.inf in the Windows inf folder, but it was just half task. When I tried again to install the USB drivers in Device Manager that I manually navigate to composite usb and usb root hub driver automatically generated list so before Windows search and found nothing. Everything works now, so happy, tried 24 hours to solve this problem and on the end it's always something simple :)
    Thanks for trying to help, really appreciate it!
