    Hello

Check the updated drivers for the NETWORK card and WiFi.

Control Panel - network - write down of the brand and the model of the Wifi - double click top - tab of the driver - write
version - click the driver update (cannot do something that MS is far behind the pilots of certification). Then
Right click on the Wifi device and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will refresh the driver stack.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • Desktop computer connected via a cable to a wireless router - can't print on Photosmart Wireless B109n-z

    Hello

I have my desktop (Windows XP) connected via a cable to a LinkSys WRT54GC wireless router and wireless HP Photosmart B109n-z connected wireless. I can 'see' desktop printer if I write the IP address of the printer in the browser, but printing does not work.

I don't know how to set up the printer to print from this desktop computer. What I choose when installing printer drivers (printing via USB or wireless?). I tried manually installing printer but without success. Do I have to set up specific ports?

Printing from laptop (connected wireless to the router) works perfectly.

Thank you in advance for your answer, I'm really lost on this one.

Choose print wireless while installing the software.  Because the printer is connected to your router, you don't need to go through «setup USB wireless»

I'll try to manually add again in this way:

Verify that you can access the web page internal to the printer by its IP address.

    1. click on the 'Start' button--> printers and fax machines.
    2. under print jobs, click on "add a printer".
    3. click on 'Next' on the Add Printer Wizard window.
    4. Select "local printer attached to this computer. Deselect "automatically detect and install my Plug and play printer." Click "next".
5 under, select a Printer Port option, select "Create a new port" and choose "Standard TCP/IP Port" and click "Next".
    6. in the "Welcome to the Add Standard TCP/IP printer port Wizard" make sure that the printer is turned on and connected to the same network that your computer is connected to. click on the button "next".
    7. under "Add Standard TCP/IP Printer Port" enter the IP address of the printer. Click 'Next' and then click 'Finish '.
    8. now select HP in the manufacturers list, select your printer in the list of the models of printers and click the button "next".
    9. If you can't find your printer, you will need to find the installation CD and use the 'Disc' option to select one of the files hp*.ini. You can also select another model of the same type HP printer.
    10. Add the name of print spooler, and then click "next".
    11. click on "next".
    12. click on "Next" and "Finish."

  • How can I connect my Mac to a network server? As in windows yo go to my computer / connection to a network drive, and then you select a letter and write the name of the server that you want to be logged

I'm trying to adapt Windows to my new MacBook Pro with OS El Capitan.

I work remotely for a company and I want to connect my Mac to the server of the company.

My question is how to connect a MAc to a network drive with the permanently available connection.  For example, in my old HP I went to my computer / connection to a network drive. I've selected a letter and note the name of the server that I wanted to be connected to. The connection was then shown with my other drive hard 'sections '; I want to say C:, D: (for recovery), e: (for tools) and then connecting to the external server has been shown with the selected letter.

There is no "letter" under OS X. It's a hangover very old of BACK, devices of mapping and volumes labeled mailbox.

If you are connected to your corporate network, you should see the available network volumes listed in the Finder, in ' my computer > network ", or with the command K to connect to a server.

You can create an alias for the volume and put it in the Dock, or leave on the desktop or put it somewhere else, and the next time you want to connect to this subject, simply double-click on it. You can also add the server address to your "favourites" in the connect to Server dialog box.

  • Time Capsule connected via Ethernet and put in place as an extension to my Airport Extreme Base Station wireless.  'Disc' Time Machine use?

If my Time Capsule is connected by ethernet to my Mac, Time Machine uses this connection or the wireless connection?

It depends on the order of connection of your Mac. If your Mac has been defined first connect using Ethernet if an Ethernet connection is present, then the Mac will save over Ethernet, even if the WiFi is enabled on the Mac.

However, if your Mac has WiFi to connect first and WiFi is on... then the Mac connects using WiFi, even if an Ethernet connection exists.

To see the binding command or service so that your Mac is using...

Open the preferences system (gear on the dock icon)

    Open network

Click on the gear at the bottom of the list of connection icon

    Click the Set Service command

If you want to make sure that your Mac will always connect to Ethernet first, even if WiFi is turned on... then you want to make sure that Ethernet appears at the top of the service order.  If this isn't the case, drag it to the top. Click OK, and then click apply at the bottom right of the window.

Another simple method to ensure that the backups will be produce by Ethernet is simply disable WiFi on Mac and let up to that you unplug the Ethernet cable, date at which you would be back on WiFi

  • HP CP1525nw - connect via the wired network and Wi - Fi ad-hoc?

At my work, we have our range of HP printers 1525nw connected in the printserver network via an ethernet cable.  The printer has its own IP address on the network configuration.

That support computers XP stops, a copula of computers is cut out / blocked from the network of employment.  A computer is enough where we can make a USB connection to print.  Another lies on another bench.  In addition, who is away from the printer also may not be perfected for a compatible Windows operating system because of the incompatibility with specialized software used to operate the hardware connected to this computer.

Is it possible for this network printer wired to be also configured to print wireless via an ad-hoc connection?  Maybe the idea was that we could install a wireless card on XP teachix computer and print wirelessly via a direct connection to the printer, by not having to connect via cable at all.  But it sounds like it would be not possible.  Looking for a straight answer before you start shopping for a wireless PCI card.

Other messages, I read, I think that the CP1525 can be ethernet or wireless not both at the same time.  Prevent you from establishing an ad hoc network the way you described.

You could try a cheap router with a built in print server connected to the usb port.  then add wireless dongles Wireless USB for XP computers.  Don't forget to make sure that the wireless dongles supports XP. Also for security reasons, you want to let the router disconnected from your network wireless.

If your tecky enough and you don't mind playing a little, you can consult your thrift store local to a router used with a print server.  You don't need to print the fastest available wireless.  Just make sure it's a router b/g (not a single B).

  • VISA can not find the oscilloscope connected via Ethernet (LAN)

    Hello

I'm using Labview 8.5.1 and installed 4.5 VISA. I connected my computer to an oscilloscope Agilent DSO5014A via the ethernet cable. I installed the driver (I even tried the 2 versions found here http://sine.ni.com/apps/utf8/niid_web_display.model_page?p_model_id=10256).

In "Measurement and Automation Explorer" However, after clicking on 'Devices and Interfaces' and then 'new', the device is not automatically found and manual entry of the IP address is not more successful. (I checked that my Ethernet port works and cable as well)

    Any idea?

Well, IP - thing seems to be linked to the AGILENT driver. Sorry, but I have no opportunity to test it, because I don't have one of these scopes. By the way: great synchronization

  • DeskJet 6940 connected via ethernet to the airport cable, do not print

    Hello

I used to run my HP Deskjet 6940 printer using a USB connection. I recently installed an Apple Airport Extreme so I can print wireless. If necessary, the printer is connected to the airport by using an ethernet cable and turned on the light green network. On the advice of a HP rep by phone, I uninstalled all old HP software and reinstalled HP software downloaded from the HP website.

When I try to add the printer to my 'system preferences', it opens a panel that contains the following options:

Protocol: Automatically selects "line printer daemon - LPD.

Address: Empty but allows me to type in the IP address assigned

    Print using: no idea.

More than two things: when I open the HP Device Manager and select "set up a network, information network configuration printer seems in good condition but the Manager does not allow me to 'apply'.  Not sure if this is important but no the printer utilities appear in my folder utlities since the new software download. Thank you.

Looks like you are using a Mac.

First of all, the driver for the Deskjet 6940 is built into Mac OS.  You really didn't need to download additional www.hp.com (sorry for the bad advice) stuff.

Next, we'll check that the printer is on the network.  In Safari, select bookmarks, display all bookmarks.  Select Hello in the left pane, and then check the Deskjet 6940 appears on the list of devices on your network.

Then, follow these instructions to reset the print Mac subsystem: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1341

Now add the printer to the Print & Fax under System Preferences applet by pressing the [+] button.  The Deskjet 6940 should be among the kind Hello from printers.  Select it and press Add.

I think that should do it.

I am trying to run the example project of USRP FPGA on a USRP-2940R connected to a PC windows using Ethernet. I have not made any changes to the FPGA VI or screw host and I'm tryign to run the host Rx in Streaming, VI. This who should I be specifying the address of device in this case. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

LabVIEW FPGA on Ethernet is only available through LabVIEW RT. Behind the scenes of the target is still connected to the well RT via PCIe controller and then the RT controller is connected to the host via Ethernet. There are also some USB LabVIEW FPGA targets (http://www.ni.com/white-paper/14821/en/).

For the RIO USRP, MXIe is currently the only bus taken in charge for LabVIEW FPGA.

  • C4580 on Macbook. Print the test and scans wireless but said network host is busy when you try to print.

I installed everything and print a wireless test page. That works, scanning the wireless work. I can see print ink wireless levels but when I try to print the screen I get

Host "xxx.xxx.x.xxx" network is busy. retrying in 30 seconds...

But she does not ever print. I think it's just a matter of minor adjustment that anyone has any ideas?

The test page does not use the computer (uggh) queue service, so often works with the spooler is hung up.

We will restore the print system:

    -Sys Prefs, Print & Fax
-Right (Ctrl) click the box of the print queue and select Reset Printing System.
-Select the sign + to add again. Search for the printer, select it, and wait until the button 'Add' becomes available. Until it clicks.

If this does not work, you will need to tell me which version of Mac OS X you are using and where you got the HP software.
