My Windows 7 computer will not find the networks wireless after a system restore.
My Windows 7 computer is not find wireless networks after I did a system restore. It was perfectly good wifi before the system restore and other members of my family have a great connection except me is not a problem with my router. I think I know what the problem is, but I just don't know how to fix it. So there you go. I did my restore system about 2 days after that we moved on the provider of internet/tv "Comcast" to the tv/internet provider "Verizon". what I think has happened, is that I restored my computer to the point when we had no Verizon so that he could not find the network. Now, since we have Comcast it won't identify this network either, so maybe some of you out there could help me. : D

You may encounter network or problems of Internet in Windows for several reasons. Some common problems that can cause these problems are:

before that norton was installed, it worked, but since Norton was installed AND DELETED, Vista will not see XP or its printers.
I have checked the firewall and they took two computers, but still no luck.
Hello
Did you change your computer?
This problem occurs if the (LLTD) link layer topology discovery Responder component is not installed on the Windows XP computer.
Network card in Windows Vista makes network diagrams of connections between network devices that can be used to troubleshoot connectivity issues. Network map uses a discovery protocol called Link-Layer Topology LLTD (Discovery) that queries other devices on the network to determine how the network is organized.
Windows Vista includes the software components that implement the LLTD protocol. For other devices on the network to display on the map, they must activate a discovery protocol that can meet the demands of mapping from the Windows Vista-based computer.
I suggest you to install the update on windows XP.

my windows vista computer will not be validated
I recently installed several security updates, and later my windows vista is not recognized as authentic. I bought it 2 years almost with installed before buying it, so I did not any area recovery CD or windows vista. the sticker on the bottom of my laptop is completely worn out. I downloaded an application key finder and have what seems to be a product key valid, but when I try to run the slui.exe it never ends. I get error 0xC004E003. I also never get an option to activate by phone, I suppose that that option no longer exists. How can I fix? It is the kind of a disadvantage and makes me nervous about using my computer on an unsecured network.
Your error message indicates a "stuck key".
This particular message occur to try to activate a key OEM_SLP - which can be activated by internet or phone-activated, it is based on the BIOS to activate.
Your only real option, as you say that the sticker is now unreadable, is to reinstall Vista using the manufacturer's recovery disks or partition - note that this will erase all your data and programs, so be installed first of all external media!

-----my computer will not install the update of security for Windows XP (KB2481109) can you help me.
Hello
(a) don't you try to install the update manually?
(b) you get any error message?
(c) don't you make changes to the computer until the problem occurred?
(d) what anti-virus software is installed on your computer?
I suggest you try the steps below and check if it helps
Method 1:
If you have installed a security software on the computer, then I suggest you to temporarily disable a software antivirus installed on the computer and check if the same problem occurs
Note: Please make sure that you activate the software of Antivirus\Firewall after the test to keep your computer protected.
Method 2:
I would say as you try to perform the clean boot and then try to install the update and check if it helps, here is the link:

Ran the Scan, the system is secure.
I was able to bypass stubborn files to transfer them to a flash drive and copy them to another folder. I was then able to access. Somehow I messed up the permissions in the previous transfers of old machines and OS.
Thank you for your help and attention.
