My Windows XP is unable to send emails, as it did before. Help, please.

I'm online on Windows XP.  I have my email address * address email is removed from the privacy *, where I always sent and received emails.

I received my emails this time, but my computer does not send my email responses when I click 'send '.  Help, please.

I see. I've never used Hotmail and all 'Live' programs have their own set of forums here.

    Error 0x800CCC0D means that the server is not found. Error 11003 socket is usually a DNS error: the name of the specified server does not exist or cannot be translated into an IP address.     I just tried to telnet your provider, but it does not respond on 587 (as it has been filtered). Tried other ports and they seem good.

    Try to use SSL and port 465 instead of 587 and tls.

    Another thing, even if it is little probable that the real problem. I want to just make sure that you are on the latest version of the program. Go to the file menu and about and make sure you're on Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3528).  It is not likely that having an older version is the real problem, but it's always good from the most recent version to let you know that you have all the bug fixes.

    It is highly unlikely that removing OE and add it again will help it.

    The message "connection refused" says unambiguously that the server aamtaout04 - winn.ispmail.ntl.com does not accept connections on port 465.  So either you have the wrong specified server, you have the wrong port specified or the server actually has a problem, despite what tells you the mail service provider.

    nethop.NET is a really small ISP. You can ask them if they support a SMTP
    nethop.NET no IP address or on 465 SSL or authenticated SMTP on port 587.
    If they are not, your only option is to use your outlook.com/hotmail.com/gmail
    etc account to access your messages through your ISP (and leave them in your Inbox to)
    nethop) and use hotmail, etc. while traveling. You need to set up
    Advanced.
     
    It is very common to see port 25 is blocked outside your own ISP.

    There are three computers in the opffice, 2 have windows 7 and the other is XP. Both with windows 7 suddenly will not send emails on windows live mail. all three are on the same network. I contacted Norton to see if that was the problem and they came to the conclusion that it wasn't Norton but the ISP or Windows Server problem. It receives very well but when you send a message, it will then an error message appears (554 5.7.1 rejected database end user not allowed to relay).

    There is no new software or hardware installed!

    If you have the same e-mail address on your computer and your laptop, what you should expect unless you set your e-mail programs to leave messages on the server of the service provider.  This is because as the prices by default, once you receive your e-mail, it is removed from the server, so when you go to get your email on the other computer, it's is no longer there.

    I spoke with verizon several times, they can't help because if I login to my account lequipetv.fr, I can send and receive very well, but is not

    It's a mistake on end of Verizon server-side no matter what they tell you and it is they who must solve.  Have you read the 'spamfaq' referenced in the error?  It can contain sufficient information to determine what you might have caused the rejection of your message.  This could also help: https://my.verizon.com/central/vzc.portal?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=vzc_help_policies&id=AntiSpamPolicy

    I think that you should check the properties of the e-mail account. Check the data you POP3 and SMTP server.
    I m not an expert in Outlook, but this option should be somewhere in the email account properties.

    The last option would be to remove the e-mail account in outlook, then a new creation of the new account.

If it does not, either make you on Google user forums for help, stop trying to use Gmail with the e-mail, or just stop using Gmail altogether (strongly recommended).

    The mail server can use a form low, obsolete encryption for secure communications with customers. Recent versions of Mac OS X has changed the behavior of Mail and other applications so that they no longer tolerate low security.

    Log on to the e-mail account on the website and see if there is a security setting, you can change. I can't be more specific. Refer to the documentation of the service provider.

    If there is no adjustment, convince the upgrade of server securityserver administrator. He or she must do it anyway. Low security affects all customers, not only Mac users.

    Otherwise, you have all the right options to continue to use Mail with the service. You can disable SSL in the Advanced account settings, but that is very dangerous and may not work at all.

    You might be able to get a more flexible mail client, such as "Thunderbird", to accept the low security, or perhaps you can access the account via webmail.

    Ideally, you should switch to a provider of postal services better. You would not have this problem with a well-run service. The risk of weak SSL are known for a long time, and to competent server administrators have already taken the simple steps are sufficient to avoid these risks.
