My Windows XP keeps trying to load PhotoGallery at startup.

I just finished the construction of a new XP machine to replace my old that had a major outage. This machine had a copy of XP home on it so I had to do a partial installation to make it compatible with my old drive. Now when I do the XP he puts up a dialog window which tell me that he tries load PhotoGallery. If I let him complete the grave maching overload 100% and I can't do anything, so I've been cancel as soon as it appears. I entered the system and removed all the files that
are related, but there is no change in the problem. Has anyone seen this problem?

The Photo Gallery dialog box may be related to
HP Image Zone. Might be interesting to try to use the
disc that came with the HP printer or scanner.

See the following thread:

"Every time I start and with other windows programs
Setup appears and wants to install Photo Gallery! "

  • Windows Installer keeps trying to install msi.status but it will not install

Windows Installer keeps trying to install msi.status but it will not install and I think he got the other updates to the installation.  How difficult or get rid of it?

    Hello
In my view, that it is a software HP printer problem. Please, try the following:

If you have the HP software on your PC support (printers, etc.)
the disc when the pop-up window displays a location '1'. Click Browse
then open the HP disc in the CD drive. A named icon status should
appear. Click on this icon and load. This will get rid of the
    Status.msi loop.

If you do not have the original disc. Uninstall HP Photosmart all-in-One Driver software and HP update program - then only reinstall the HP Photosmart all-in-One Driver software. Do not update, just live with it. The web link for the full features of the software download is provided below.

    Original title: update

Windows Installer keeps trying to install an update for Paint Shop Photo Album, which is no longer available. How he remove without disabling the windows installer? I installed v4.5 installer that allows enabling or disabling updates. Paint Shop appears but the box is not checked, so the installer must ignore, right?

Using msconfig, I can find nothing in startup or services that will completely eliminate the problem, Evin with instaler disabled, Setup window will start to blink during boot computer has been scanned and cleaned with Security Essentials, SuperAntiSpy and Spybot. \

There is a key in registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\ referring to it.

What is no longer available - Paint Shop Photo Album or the update?

If you have uninstalled Paint Shop Photo Album, you might see if running free Revo Uninstaller is able to get rid of leftovers that could cause problems.

  • Windows Update keeps trying to install K2686828 and KB2656369.

Windows Update keeps trying to install K2686828 and KB2656369.  Whenever I tells me the installation succeeds only to ask again to update.  I tried the fix - it solutions, and they have not corrected the problem.  Also, I did a virus scan and found nothing.  All my other updates were installed without problem.

This problem is related to the MSI registration information inconsistancies.  I was able to fix by using a cmd "msiexec /i {C09FB3CD-3D0C-3F2D-899A-6A1D67F2073F} ADDLOCAL = ALL/l * v % temp%\repairLog.txt.  At the end of this process, the two installed normally KB and I have now no critical updates in the meantime.  I noticed that article 917964 described a situation where IE would not work if the repairs were made the xp without removal of IE8 or IE 7 first.  My IE 8 works fine.  By 917964, "before you perform a repair of Windows XP installation, you must uninstall Windows Internet Explorer 7 or Windows Internet Explorer 8 of the Windows XP computer.". If you perform a repair of Windows XP installation, when a later version of Internet Explorer is still installed, Internet Explorer does not once the repair is complete. »

  • All metro UI apps windows does not just keep trying to load

Hi, for the past 2 days, all my windows metro UI apps do not work (messenger, mail, people, bing, etc.). However applications 3rd party like Tweetro works very well. I want to try to uninstall applications, BUT the app store window does not work too. Can I know how to solve the problem? When I click on the apps UI subway windows, all I get is a loading screen which doesn't stop loading. Thank you.

Honestly I've read a lot about this. There are so many messages that MS needs to make some kind of announcement. There are many theories about what is causing the issue, and most of them seem to be centered around the antivirus, firewall and other. I read that Windows 8 has strengthened its security and protection with Windows Defender anti-virus. I had the same questions as everyone else. My metro apps wouldn't work. Click it, you get a splash screen, and then it seems to be load with points of spinning in a circle and that's all I could get. I worked on this for 2 days and with extreme frustration. I took some advice from some other people having the same problem and I completely uninstalled Mcafee Security Suite, rebooted the computer and low and behold, that resolved 'my' problem. As for others, I can't say. I've never once refreshed or borrow. I wish I had done just a couple of days! I hope you make the right decision for yourself. I have now no antivirus 3rd party anything on my system. I'm a careful Internet user when it comes to the internet and I stay away from any type of file-sharing sites. I hope this does not come back and bite me. Good luck!

  • Have no Microsoft Office installed, but Windows update keeps trying to install an "important security fix" for Office KB951944

I recently bought a Dell Inspiron 1545 with Windows Vista Edition Home Premium 64bits. A trial version of office 2007 has been pre-installed, but I removed it. Because something was wrong with deleting automatically I followed the instructions of a Microsoft Office site to manually remove. Although I followed all the steps, I still think that Windows Update sniffs a bit of the program, cause he mind keeps me with the security patch. Anyone an idea how to get rid of it?

    Thank you!

You can 'hide' any updates, but be aware that doing this cannot 'hide' all the new Office updates.

How to hide updates in Vista: click on view available updates (or Select the updates installed). Right-click on the update you want to hide. Click hide update | Confirm the UAC (User Account Control) prompt, as appropriate.

To restore/show updates for Vista: Start | Control Panel | System maintenance and (if you use Classic view, skip this step) | Windows Update | Restore hidden updates: Find and select the update you want to install | Restoration of. You can now select once again it and install through the normal process.

TIP: to avoid the downloading/installation, updates that you do not want to configure the automatic updates option second or third parameter in the Edit settings window. See picture here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/windowsupdate/learn/windowsvista.mspx

I don't know if it just happens to me, but whenever I try to change the current view of my music on the display list, my iTunes (version 12.3.1.23 on a Mac) will not stop loading the library iCloud, which I do not have access because I no longer member of Apple's music (and don't plan to be anytime soon). It remains just try to connect to the music library to iCloud and me without access to my music. The only way I can do this loading screen go away is to exit the application. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Hello

Try to connect to iTunes store, then reconnect. Go to preferences and make sure the music library music Apple and iCloud is disabled.
