myDAQ errors on audio channels

I have LabView2012, a myDAQ and the 9.6.2 drivers.  I can't get the DAQ assistant to work with the audio channels.  I get the following error:

Error-201087

Task contains the physical channels on one or more devices requrie lets you specify the sample clock frequency.

The sample clock calendar function/vi to specify a sample clock rate.

channel name / device1/audioinputleft.

This error is meaningless because in the acquisition of data Assistant I can run the task and it acquires the data very well, but when I click on OK, lets build the application and then try to run it will not work and gives this error.

Also, I get the same error when I try to test the task in the mydaqtroubleshooting utility

The fixed 9.7 driver package, DAQ assistant works now.  The defective disorder still audio watch shooter utility, but I ran the equalizer vi and it works.

    Hi all

I use myDAQ for a loop back the audio channels. I do not use the screw exprees since it is a requirement. But the VI gives error 200077 with a statement ' value required is not supported for this property value. The value of the property may be invalid because it is in conflict with another property '. Help, please.

You still haven't answered my question on Error Message - there seems to be no error message number 200077.  I do not have a myDAQ in front of me, so I can't directly your test code and see what the error, but you can...

I understand that you want to learn how to use DAQmx features directly without using the DAQ Assistant.  It is a useful purpose, since you can do a lot more and have a much more direct control, when you control them loops and simply use DAQmx functions you need.  A very powerful tool is the concept of a task, you can create in MAX or the LabVIEW project.

The LabVIEW project offers a framework to wrap around your project.  It may be unwise for a beginner to LabVIEW, which writes a single giant VI (yours is not so big, don't worry) which takes 3-10 screens to see.  But a very important technique that applies to all programming languages is Divide and Conquer, or write the subroutines/functions/sub-sub-screws that do something.  Indeed, all except more trivial LabVIEW can involve tens, hundreds, or even thousands of VI.  How to manage?

Before LabVIEW 8, the answer has been "Letting Windows Do It", which means that place them in folders and subfolders with useful names.  Then you might have a higher overall folder called 'My Big Project', with subfolders 'Interaction with the user', 'Interaction with the material', and ' data ', within which were 'Type Defs', "Utility screws", etc.  On LabVIEW project, it adds the ability to include additional information about the project, such as "as devices DAQmx am I using", 'How I want to build an executable', and "How to manage shared code between two or more targets" (important in real-time and architectures of RIO).

There are some excellent materials tutorial available on the Web.  A starting point is here, advanced programming in DAQmx (here also the main getting started with DAQmx page which will tell you the Advanced page).  On the Advanced page, the first article is useful.

Notice the concept of a task, which can be set in MAX, both in the project.  Define a task manages a large number of details 'disorder' in the DAQmx configuration, because it binds things such as the choice of channels, sampling frequency, type of sample (for example, voltage or temperature or Force), of special scales, etc. in one thing, the task.  With a properly configured task constant, many routines DAQmx will need only a few functions - Start Task, read/write, stop and close task.

Do some reading and thinking.  And find out what is the real Message of the error, please...

  • I do not understand this statement "It is a good idea to keep track that uses a bunch of Audio channels selected in the arrange window, unless you actively play or record on a software Instrument."

It's a good idea to keep track that uses a bunch of Audio channels selected in the arrange window, unless you actively play or record on a software Instrument.

Which no longer applies in Logic Pro X 10.2.3. In old versions of logic, selecting a range with a software instrument automatically would make this instrument in "Live" mode, which means that the instrument has begun to transform any MIDI in sound with a minimum of delay. This direct mode becomes an instrument need CPU power (on a single processor) and peut overload the audio engine. It is a waste of CPU if there is no direct game. Then select an audio track would ensure that No instrument is in direct mode. Now (LPX 10.2.2 or more) in direct mode can be turned on or off on a track, chosen or not - it is the R button on the track header.

  • How to Exchange audio channels in Windows 7 on laptop?

    I have a laptop of Lenovo Y200.
When I connect the Bose headphones to the laptop, the left audio channel detaches the listener right and vice versa.
Bose headphones can be used in reverse.

Is it possible to exchange the audio channels in the software?

I use Windows 7 and any way to replace the audio channels in speaker properties widget is not found.

    Hello

You can't exchange audio channel in windows 7, but you can check if the connection between the headset and the computer is properly connected.

Disconnect and reconnect the cable between the headphone and the port of the computer and see if it plays well.

  • You will need to reverse the left and right audio channels, because I would like to avoid too cables around the living room and the right sound.

You will need to reverse the left and right audio channels, because I would like to avoid too cables around the living room and the right sound.

tried in SOUND > Speakers > CONFIGURE it on by clicking on the right left speaker sound time and vice versa.

    Hey DiegoWO,

There is not currently an option within the OS to achieve.
However, your drivers audio pourrait have a built-in effect that allows you to reverse the stereo sound. If you do not see a separate application to manage your sound, you will need to visit the website of the manufacturer of your sound card and install the latest drivers.
  • Audio channels

Why are both my left and right audio channels on a track?  What does do?  I wouldn't have to deal with each item before I throw it on the time line.  What is anyone else annoyed by this and they plan change to the video editing can be done in the correct way?

You can change the audio format on sequence by sequence:

Or you can select a default value for different types of clips which applies to importation:

  • How to select the right and left a track audio channels in the graphics editor?

I put my 2 keyframes for gradual and hit the chart next to the Audio levels. Then in the graph Editor to see the slope of the fade.

I would like to use the Bezier handles to edit bland. But when moving them around it just doesn't move right and left audio channels separately, and I have no idea how to adjust them in unison or at least take the other to the same position as the first.

    Thanks for the help

In General, audio Ae tools are not only versatile, so do not expect to have a hard time with them. your questions - it seems that if you want to manipulate the keyframes for Audio levels in the graph Editor, you will need to adjust the two handles, one at a time.

two workaround solutions: I can think of:

    1. If you want to control the volume, it is better still to use stereo mix effects and not audio levels. It also has 2 values, only this time both are visible in the timeline panel if you can drag the two simultaneously (how you couldn't front with audio levels) and manipulate your chart.

    2. If you still want to control audio levels after reading the 1st work around: you can connect your audio levels to a cursor of expression: Add a cursor of expression to your audio layer alt now (Effects-> expressions-> slider control control) click on sound levels to activate the expressions for this layer and drag the pickwhip expression. This will make the slider to control the sound levels and you'll have only one value in the graph Editor.

  • Configuration of the audio channels in PP 2015.3 v10

    Hello

I noticed that the path of the Audio track has changed to the Configuration of the Audio channels in the settings of export of the latest PP. Unfortunately, this affects the way in which players such as QuickTime read the layout of the audio channel.

For example, I went out a DNxHD MOV video with 24 channels for a customer. I attributed to them in my PP of the project and am ready to the output file. The previous version of PP has allowed you to assign titles in the drop-down menu, the Audio track route which, in turn, allowed to see each audio channel / stem in the movie in QuickTime player Properties menu option.

Unfortunately, in the last version of 2015.3, my final file of DNxHD output has all channels play off the one audio track when opens in QuickTime player. However, I don't see all the audio stems when I reimport the DNxHD PP file so I think that this only affects the software outside Adobe.

I wouldn't mind not so much, but the customer would like to see the audio presentation in QuickTime player, so I'm a little confused as to what is wrong here with the last update PP.

Why this changed in the first place? Any help will be very appreciated!

    Concerning

    Tony

    System specifications:

    Premiere Pro 2015.3

Windows PC 10, 16 GB of RAM

So, I thought about it fortunately! So you have to choose Audio MONO Channel Configuration settings and then add as many channels as you need (for me it would be 24 mono tracks). As long as you properly assigned audio channels of your sequence, then the output file should be fine.

This seems a strange and unnecessary change for me - I don't know Adobe not have their reasons, but that would have saved me some valuable time if we have correctly explained in the update notes!

  • How to expose several audio channels of the MXF file in body CC 2015?

I import MXF (from C300) files that should have two audio channels separated from two different microphones. (When these files are opened in Final Cut you can see two audio channels to separate). Agency CC 2015 it shows me only one audio channel. When I go to "Edit"->"audio" window I see no way in there to expose the second audio channel. How do I do that?

You'll need a parameter like this:

You need to do before you put anything on the timeline.

  • Extract the audio channels to mono files - does not

When I right click a file .wav stereo in the files Viewer, why are the "extract audio channels to mono files -" option grayed out?

It worked for me a few weeks before a hearing CC 8.1.0.162 update.  I resorted to using version CS6 where it always works.

Well, even if I don't use it there, I agree with you - it does not work and is grayed out, and there is no reason that I can see. It still works fine in the Edit menu on the same file, and also you can assign a keyboard shortcut, so you have not really lost all features, even if I would say it was a bug...

I'll connect it with a reference to this thread.

  • How to export 4 mono audio channel tracks separated?

Hello! I need help as soon as possible...

I am trying to export video files that have 4 separate mono (single) audio channels.

I work with red RAW images, and I've synced sound that has four mono channels to separate. A boom, two lavaliers and zoom mic.

Here is my solution up to now...

When you create a new sequence I selects RED R3D 1080 p, then I click on TRACKS > Audio and select multichannel, number of channels - 4. Can I go ahead and synchronize the video and audio. When I go to export I'll AUDIO and select "Uncompressed" audio codec, and in configuring audio I select Mono - 4 channels.

However, after export, I believe that the four channels are identical. I need channels to be separated, as the source (boom, LAV, zoom, etc.).

Please advise on how to do it. I'm doing something wrong?

    Thank you!

A couple of things to watch, make sure that the timeline tracks are top selected outputs correct and are correctly pans.

Some export codecs will allow mono files separated, some don't. This gives you the opportunity:

  • Several Audio channels

I have an audio channel on my main timeline that plays background music. At any time during the game, the player can press a button which activates a cut-in (which is just a MovieClip animation). How I would make the volume of the background music go to zero and then play a different clip (on a different channel with a different soundTransform)? I tried .volume = 0 on the soundTransform and it doesn't seem to work.

I thought about it. The framework itself has music playing and so the drowning on the audio channel. It works now!

I have the mp4 with 4 channel audio file that is not in the audio channel. When I import in the first it shows only 1 channel. In the project window, I try to find other audio channels on option audio channel (Edit-> audio channels) but it shows other channels. How active other audio channels and retrieve audio sound?

When you go to interpret, I chose multichannel, then specified 4 tracks.
