• myRIO ADC problem: side affacted channel of its previous channel

  I use several channels ADC myRIO now and facing a question about it.

  I use 3-channel ADC Port A: AI0 AI1 and AI2.

  I have connected AI0 in the middle of a potentiometer for voltage accoss it. And connect anything to AI1 and AI2.

  CDA works very well. I can move the potentiometer valtage perfectly AI0.

  However, when I changed the value of the potentiometer, the CDA of AI1 and AI2 results changed also, 0, 1V to 0.8V about. Please note I have nothing plugged in these two ports.

  Is this true? the ADC AI1 and AI2 and AI3 same (PORT A) port are affacted by AI0?

  When I connected AI1 to an Anolog output senser, the result was also affacted by the potentiometer which was connected to the AI0.

  When I connect AI1 in power, he was out of influence.

  Did someone already had such a problem? Can someone help me to solve it?

  Please note the small change you notice when both of your strings are attached can be due to several factors such as the wrong wire shielding, etc and EMC (electromagnetic coupling).

  What is a floating channel terminal, random or variation is normal and due to internal correlated myRIO circuits and should not be a cause for concern.

• Problem in reading the PWM signals in myRIO 1900

  Hi guys,.

  I work with myRIO to generate PWM pulses.

  Here is the block diagram of my circuit.

  

  I connected external to the analog input pin PWM pin. So I can watch the PWM pulse in the waveform table.

  But the waveform is not clear. This is as shown in the screenshot.

  

  

  See that the waveform is not correct. When I'm watching the same PWM pulses in the CRO (cathode ray Oscilloscope, oscilloscope real in the real world), I get exactly the waveform. that is, the PWM pulses are generated correctly. But the analog read is unable to read the PWM pulses.

  I faced the same problem with the pin of analog reading earlier when I read the input voltage. Is not give continuous reading of the voltage input.

  Please guide me how to read these impulses via analog read.

  Please tell me at what frequency range, I can use this myRIO to generate impulses?

  The desired pulse frequency is 10 KHz. My sampling rate must therefore 100 kHz, which is not possible in data acquisition mode. There is another problem with the myRIO. Only AI0, BI0 and CI0 has n-sample mode. The analog input pins is still have no n-sample mode. But in my project, I need 4 pins of I in n-sample mode, which is not possible. In addition, the sampling rate should also be favourable, which does not happen in my case. We can say that this is a disadvantage of myRIO with data acquisition mode.
  The only alternative to solve this problem is to use FPGA in myRIO.

• Display image on vi as myRio problem

  This system supposed to be an easy task, but I don't know why it does not work. I am trying to create a game by myRio 1900 and I'm putting a jpeg image. However, I get an error message or an empty image on the Panel before the myRio Vi (Vi project myRio label) [see photograph below]. On the other hand, if I create the same VI under my computer, the image shows without any problem. What should I do to enlarge a picture on my VI as myRio. I need the image either on this VI because I am creating a program requiring myRio and it may not work properly if it is not under label myRio (I need its integrated sensor). I am attaching a zip file of only the part display image of the commandments and not my whole project easier to visualize.

  It seems that reading JPEG/PNG/BMP screws are not based on targets in real time, as your myRIO. As an alternative, you can get our Vision of shared resources (I think you need to install with Vision Development Module), install Vision RT to the myRIO and use the IMAQ ReadFile VI to open the file on the myRIO.

• Problem on myRIO entered analog sampling broadband 50kS/s

  Hi all

  I have a problem when I want to use the + 10V input analog of myRIO1900 to sample a signal of moving very fast valve (+ 10V analog signal).

  

  I need less 50kS/s sampling frequency (time 20 s segment two examples of data). According to myRIO specifications analog input has a global 500kS/s sample rate, which means it should be fast enough for me.

  I have used a loop in my code and all of the source 1 MHz calendar, timed period 20us (which I need). However, in my LabVIEW code I can get aroud 3ms (333kS/s) time slice (delta t) between two sample data, see file .xls attached, which comes from the function "write to the file of the measurement. I don't know if it is a problem of record data when I use the function "write into the file of the measure", since the time stamp (delta t) of the 'writing on a file of measure' is different from the timestamp (delta t) data that I export waveform graph. But I have to use the function "write into the file of measures" to save the data in real time.

  So, how can I know what exactly sampling rate I get to the data? If this isn't the case, that fast how can I do? Is the unit of time or ms for the entry in the data file?

  Attachments are my project file, writing to measure (.xls) file and the exported data (.xls) file in the waveform table.

  I HERE that very well, if someone can give me some suggestion since I'm a beginner to myRIO and not that familiar with LabVIEW code.

  Since you're using an analog input VI single sample, you are essentially software your acquisition timing (which is timed by your timed loop). It's enough to lower sampling frequencies, but as you try to reach a high sampling rate, you should use the Analog Input Express VI . • Problem of update Windows - IO serial I2C ES controller

  I have an Inspiron 11 3000 Series. Just ran Windows Update today and there was an optional update for 'Intel Corporation - other - Intel (r) Serial I2C IO ARE hardware controller' published on 13/05/2015. After that I installed it via Windows Update the Dell touchpad no longer works correctly. Touchpad becomes slow and unresponsive, and you cannot access the Synaptics settings more. Also, when you look in the Manager of devices it is gone and Serial I2C IO appears with a yellow exclamation point.

  Had to go back to Manager device and the restoration of the driver for Intel IO I2C ES controller Serial (he returned to the 2013 rather than 2015 driver version), but now there is no more problems in Device Manager and the touchpad works fine after reboot.

  What is "Serial IO I2C ES controller Intel" and what's with the last update that Microsoft is trying to push through Windows Update?

  Update: after the upgrade to Windows 10 default system for the 2015 version of the Intel of the series ES I2C IO controller and once again, that it is presented with an error in the Device Manager and Tablet touchscreen Dell did not appear and was not working properly.

  This time there was no option to roll back the driver. I had to click on Update Driver > Browse my computer for driver software > let me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer > I was presented with 3 options which was simply called controller I2C Intel.   I checked the version of the driver that was installed using the method above, and it's the same thing Dell has on its support page.

  If for some reason any Microsoft keeps trying to install an incompatible driver for this device which causes problems.

• frequency corresponding problem with myrio!

  Currently, I am working with myRIO and Labview 2013 to generate sinusoidal PWM signals.
  When I created 'analogue output' tab myRio and connected to the Oscilloscope, oscilloscope waveform could not show me the appropriate frequency combined with a frequency that I gave in labiew. Is there a relationship between the frequency of "the"(myRio tap) of analog input between real-time rate? ". Otherwise, is it certainly possible to calibrate the frequency in labview? • myRIO - problems when using onboard LED

  Hello

  for some reason, I can't not lit on board LED. I try to use a block of myRIO-> default-> LED FPGA personality. Block properties, I chose LED0. Then I create a Boolean constant and the value is FALSE. After that I wire to LED0 port. When I run the application, the LED is not lit. Previously mentioned block is inside a loop timed, who works for sure.

• Code 10 Omni 10 I2C HID Driver failure - is there still a problem?

  Omni 10 my wife is 4 months old, and the pilot HID I2C has code 10 to start to fail.

  He uninstall does not work: refresh and reinstall windows did not work: all updates done or not done - it still does not work.

  I spent a lot of time to work through all the solutions I could find online and all first that it restarts randomly, but now its does not work at any time. The touchscreen keyboard appear not at all either.

  Any ideas before I call technical support?

  Even thought they said that a new unit would be sent, after reading this forum for a few months, I was expecting a refurbished and this is what I got.

  Comes to a refurbished unit was delivered by UPS 25 hours after I got the phone is off yesterday. El Centro, CA in Ontario, Canada the next day is not bad. UPS Bravo!

  I would have a little more confidence in a new unit and my warranty is the same as my original, i.e. only until August. We'll see how it goes.

  I am trying to install a simple VI on a myRIO-1900 to use a digital potentiometer as a variable resistance. I carefully used a SPI dpot successfully, but I have problems during the transition to a controlled i2C dpot.

  

  The rest of the data sheet available here ( http://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/data-sheets/AD5241_5242.pdf ), I made the following connections.

  My assumption was a table 1 d of two elements, the first being the byte of the instruction and the second data byte. However, that's just my guess; If you need more information, I could ask the manufacturers of the AD5242 for more information.

• myRIO time restores default of the ignition system after reboot

  I have the following problem.
  I measure the tension on each analogue input. The measurement starts after starting the appliance myRIO, while time system of myRIO device resets the time default system. But the measures are useless without a good timestomp, containing real time (day, month, yearh, hour, minutes, seconds).
  Is there a possibility for the device myRIO start with real time, or that unit myRIO has time while turned off. (perhaps someone knows the external devices which can be connected to the USB myRIO to get real time)

  The myRIO has not shipped for the real time clock battery, so the time will be reset with each power on.

  You can set the date and time on the myRIO using screws on the target System Configuration, so all you need to do is to find somewhere that timestamp and assign once myRIO Boote.

  Here are a few options:

  -If you have a HOST VI connected, send the timestamp for the myRIO from your PC

  -External battery series/I2C/SPI supported RTC chip/module that you can connect to the myRIO. There is an example here.

  -A GPS module provides a very accurate timestamp as part of its NMEA data - could you one until the myRIO e.g. via Serial hook

  -The information of the network timestamp (for example a time server SNTP or by making an HTTP request - the timestamp is usually returned in the header information by the server or you might find a web service that provides information 'current time')

• How to install this update and resolve problems of USB and the touchpad?

  I Equium M50 (59th) and am bitten by an update that pulled my touchpad and keyboard. I did the new installation of XP Home and have all updated drivers and everything goes well. The last update, what I can't understand is for
  Ana _2005_10_24_V1.2 driver is for, Standard Open HCD USB Host Controller... X 2 .........

  The update addresses all kinds of questions like I'm having and is an update recommended driver detective, I use offten.

  The problem is that it says uninstall the drivers for the i have installed already and when I do it it hits off my USB mouse me leaving no able to install the new. When I reboot it installs those I don't want not reinstalled.

  Well, the next time you post, it would be useful to have all the information to start with (what does your system, errors, measures

  you have taken to solve the problem, etc.). This way more people will respond and we can help you more easily.

  By parallel loops, I just run two processes in separate loops at the same time in the same VI (what they do on the link).

  If you think about it logically if this initial process is running one engine, then do the same exact process but that it points to the

  second motor will run the second engine. So, if you include the two pieces of code (exactly the same but different engines references) in the same VI then it can run two engines.

  If you look at the link I have attached before she speaks of two ongoing processes at the same time within the same VI.

  You can then use queues and the authors of the notifications (look in them) to communicate between the two processes you use, allows from Control Panel even before to control them and stop them both at the same time.

  With this, you should be able to all both enforce.

• Palette controls MyRIO appears not

  I recently received a myRIO.  After graduating (relatively) comfortable with LabVIEW, I have connected the RIO for the first time and went through the getting started wizard and draw the graph of the accelerometer.  However, when I tried to move forward to control the LED on the myRIO through a VI, I couldn't find the relevant icons to insert in the tool Palette, as shown in the tutorial.  When I opened the tool palette there is no section "myRIO".  There are some elements of the FPGA and the visionRIO controls, but none of the standard (I guess) LED control etc.

  After some reading, I thought it's probably a problem with the Toolbox myRIO, I had installed LabVIEW and thought I installed the toolkit from the CD provided with the item.  Idecided to erase and reinstall the Toolbox.  With the CD, I uninstalled all myRIO toolkit that I had previously installed and rebooted, then installed the resources on the same CD and rebooted.

  No joy, the License Manager NOR has not shown and myRIO toolkit under toolkits when I checked.

  I am now installing the Toolbox to the web download of the group for the second time.  After reviewing the previous posts on issues that seem to be the same as this, I have tried almost everything, and he seems not to have worked.  When I open LabVIEW screen (where you can create the project/access those pre-existing) says "LabView... myRIO, ' is the LabVIEW installed from the disk of myRIO as far as I can tell.  I don't see why it shouldn't.

  Please help if you can.  Let me know if the necessary information.  I'm on Windows 10 on a HP Pavilion.

  Looks like you had open the VI was under the FPGA myRIOs in the project. Palettes will change according to the context of the VI in order to ensure that the VI is created under the myRIO. You can also view and modify the current context at the bottom left of the VI.
