  A bit of history, Apple had this quality control program where all 2011 Macbook pros affected by a defective video card can have their logic boards changed for free by taking it to apple. My macbook was one of them and apple genius guys changed the logic board. Long and behold, after six months the lower slot of Bank ram has stopped working. My question is, can I use the Apple since its only six months, and if I order a new Board of the logic on their part, what are the chances that this will not happen?

  Any past experiences you guys could share to help me would be greatly appreciated.

  You attempt to convert a traditional DAQ MAX configuration programmatically in a configuration DAQmx MAX or something else?  The DAQmx API does not expose the ability to query a SXCI module slot number.  I suggest you take a look at the API of the System Configuration OR (http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/2613/lang/en).  The 'Material' of the System Configuration API class property node contains a number of Slot property that should return the number of appropriate housing.

  Is it possible this admission control would allow a machine virtual can be powered on when there is no available slots?  I don't speak HA initiate a failover, but manually power on a virtual machine of the vSphere client...

  My current settings of the laboratory are:

  -5 x test VMs

  -3 guests x ESXi 5.5 with 2 processors and 4 GB of RAM each.

  -Fixed CPU slot size = 2000 MHZ (yes I know it is huge, but I am doing this to force a slot by ESX host since resources 'hidden' PR of each host ESXi brings only 3800 MHZ)

  -Then, the slot machines, 2 3 total used, 1 failover, with 2 under voltage VM.

  It is my understanding that once you run out of slots, admission control should leave you not MANUALLY power on the new virtual machines. I could do something wrong, but in my case, I am able to power on the other 2 VMS with 0 slots available. I enclose some screenshots for reference.

  Could I be missing?
