  I started getting errors while recording in Windows Media Center, the program hangs and fails to save and I get the error message of signal loss.

  I checked my connections USB, card TV tuner, cable connection, and they are very good.  I use Wintv 7 now and record very well. I have WINTV7.1 for the HAUPPAUGE WINTV HVR - 850 external USB connected to the tv by similar cable card. I searched various sites of Mircrosoft support and not been able to find a solution or explanation satisfatory.

  However I have my search I found possible solutions. These solutions involve Windows Media Center for Windows 7 and I want to know if they will work for VISTA sp2.  The Hauppauge site displays links for Windows 7.

  I believe that Micorsoft hotfix support kb 981130 will solve my problem with loss of signal and gel of the records.   But the solution is designed for windows 7 and there is no information on the page for Windows Vista.

  If so, you can try to run a SFC scan to make sure that the system files are intact: How to use the tool File Checker system to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files on Windows Vista or Windows 7

  The only other option I can think is that the signal is in fact weak and therefore, the signal is lost.

  Assuming that the signal strength is good and the System File Checker was not working, the next step that I have to recommend would be to back up your files on an external and reinstall Windows:

  Install, reinstall, or uninstall Windows

  After much struggling R500 I Dual Boot XP Vista works fine.

  I bought the R500 with Vista, but has found a use not very good for real.

  Microsoft has announced that you can go back to XP if you have licensed professional Vista - but Toshiba will still provide an installation CD.

  I decided to set up a dual boot with another license XPPro rather than do a reinstall. Many of my problems also apply to a straight reinstall XP.

  You must reduce the Vista partitions or data in order to create space for a new primary partition, and then start it from a XP disc to install it in the new partition.

  When you are installing XP, you will get a crash scren blue before arriving to screen the asking where you want to install because the XP CD does not one for hard disk sata driver, unless include you the operating system to include the correct driver, or use F6 to load the drivers you need.

  I don't know exactly what you're asking when you say "the result to file would be about 1 second or so that would include general material time?, ' but what it looks like you're asking, is if the file is written to update all about 1 second. If that's what you mean, then the answer is about Yes.

  In your acquisition process, you need to specify the sampling frequency and the number of samples. so if you use this as an acquisition continues, then each iteration of the loop there will be 1000 samples that will be processed by the average stage, while an average value will be written to your file. This process will be repeated until you stop the task.   (1) the former (working) key - was it preinstalled on the computer by the manufacturer? If so, then it is an OEM key and can not be installed on any machine other than the original
  (2) is it a COA sticker on your current computer? -If Yes, for which version and edition of Windows is valid?

  I made a movie of 30 minutes or more in WMM, some of the videos that I imported I had to convert to wmv, to import into WMM. Once I went to publish the movie, after the publication of about 1%, an error message pops up saying something like "cannot publish to the specified location. I spent hours trying to figure this out and I I still don't know what the problem with it! Help! I've also spent a lot of time to their conversion to avi to see if this helped and the same message appeared again.

  My Photosmart D5160 started printing everything in red. In any document (usually, we print our business letters in black only) red.

  The standard Test page printed from the PROPERTIES tab is completely red, although the Windows logo in the upper right shows a hint of pink and yellow.

  What happened when the cartridges, color and black (genuine HP 344 and 337 respectively) were half full. There is no error message on the D5160 Billboard and the LEVELS of INK display this ink in both.

  There is no configuration setting I see requiring everything to be printed in red.

  I tried a download of the latest driver from HP site... Basic installation failed half way through.

  Then I uninstalled all HP software, removed the printer and tried a reinstall of the base on the site of HP driver (I have more... lost installation CD)... It seemed to work and at the end of the process, it will automatically restart the PC. When Windows came back to the top, it says the installation failed, then he collected information about the problem, sent automatically to Microsoft to see if there is a fix for this problem. He returned and downloaded a fix for the "problem"... Unfortunately, I didn't record what was the known problem. Hotfix installation failed thus leaving me with no printer at all.

  Try to print a self-test of the only printer page. Maybe it's a hardware problem with the printer itself. If you print the test page and you get the same results in RED, while this isn't your software, it has something to do with your cartridge or print head.
