  I imported into pictures of thousands of old pictures with long, descriptive file names.  The problem is that the metadata for the title remains empty for all the imported photos.  I want set title for each photo to its file name.  I've been going through photos and copy the file name to the title on a basis of photo by photo, but I simply have too many images to pass through them without making my job full time.

  Is it possible to automate the assignment of file name for title in situations where the title is empty?  Is it possible to ask for the title to be considered file during the import process name?  (Apple: if not, why?)  Can I write a script to assign the title of file name?

• Remove an invalid name in Photos

  I accidentally created names truncated faces in my photo library.    In the drop-down menu when I start to type the name "Quinn", I see "Q" and "Qu" when I start typing.   When I go to faces, I don't see anyone named "Qu".    How to make Photos forget that I already tried to give someone the name of "Qu"?

  It is easy to accidentally scroll when I want to select a name drop.

  I use an iMac of 2012 with iLife 11.  Processor Intel Core i5 to 2.7 GHz, 8 GB of memory. OSX 10.8.5

  What version of iPhoto do you have?  What has changed since it worked?  What do you mean by renaming a photo? In iPhoto Photos don't have names--they have titles and descriptions.

• How can I bulk add name of photo file

  I would like to add the name of the image file, so that when people look at the name of the file image is embedded in the image.

  I did some research on this top and have found some mention of the tools that people build to do this and indeed a lot of different things I guess.

  I'm using 10 PSE. Windows 7 Prof  As I understand it, I can't build tools because my version for example of items is not full blown. But if people have to build something for it I can then add it to my software and it works for me.

  Although full, quick or even guided, it seems to be an option under file/automation tools. This seems to be what I need.

  Can anyone tell me where this add on is and how to use, I can't find it and I don't really know if it will work with 10 of PSE. Many References I've seen seem to be for the previous version.

  There may be a simpler way?

  Hello:

  Earlier, I added photos contact to all my BBerry Contacts.  It worked perfectly for quite a while.

  But the last 2 weeks (or more), when I get a call I get no resources and no contact photo.  Just the number, which, if I don't recognize, I'm going to ignore.

  (The reason why I have the names and photos is so I don't have to memorize numbers.  )

  The contact photos are always in my contacts list, so nothing happened to them.  And ss as much as I know I haven't added new applications.  So I'm puzzled as to why they would suddenly stop showing when I get a call.

  Anyone know how I can make them work properly?

  I would recommend to check if you have encryption enabled on the BlackBerry smartphone or press card. Go to the Options-Security Options. If it is enabled, disable it and try again then take out the battery.

• Recognition facial photos seems frozen

  I've been using iOS 10GM on my iPhone 6s and macOS Sierra on my MBA 2012 for 2 weeks now.

  As you know with these 2 new pictures recognizes faces locally so that you can put names on photos.

  My problem is: I have a library of 34647 images, but the two iPhone and Mac photo analysis seems stuck to one some of them analyzed (1693 on iPhone, 1145 on Mac).

  My 34 k photo library contains photos of iOS devices and also my Fuji camera. I use RAW file format for some of them (I'd say 10%), the others being in JPG format).

  Do you see any reason why would freeze the process of face recognition?

  You have not been using OS X 10.12 Sierra for 2 weeks since it just came out yesterday (10/02/2016 - about 31 hours ag) and I expect to have finished K 35 photos in a little more than a day

  My MBA with about 20 K photos is a little more than half done - my iMac which I did not until today is also the approach half-done - IOS X came out for more than a week and my iPad and iPhone ended yesterday

  Bottom line is that Patience is a virtue - follow the rules for power, IOS locking devices with no Photos running on the Mac and him not give time

  If I understand your message that you want to know if you can disable the function of photo that shows now at the top of the Messages to your contacts and how you can import Facebook profile photos to use as your contacts photos.

  The function of photo for contacts in Messages is not a feature that can be adjusted. Regarding photos of Facebook profile for contact photos, Yes, you can, but it's dependent on whether you have e-mail address of the contact and if they share that e-mail address on their profile of social media.

  Titles added in iPhoto are not on when the photo is exported out of iPhoto.  They are only used internally in iPhoto.  Try to name a photo in iPhoto and drag it to your desktop and you will see the added title iPhoto's wrong with her, but rather the original title has added in the finder or by unit photo remains.  In iMovie, you can select the photo and go to file/reveal in Finder and it will take you to the photo in the finder, showing its original title or title that you have added in the finder but not added in iPhoto.

  With 10.10.3 came Photos old 3rd party applications are not compatible with.  With those, you will need to export the picture on the desk and add them to PowerPoint from there.  Or upgrade to MS Office.
