Name of scheduled report

Hello

We did a custom report for UCCX8.5, that we wish to plan. This report can show the details of a CSQ, by selecting a filter CSQ. For this reason, we need schedule a new task for each CSQ. Here the question arises: when I look at the overview of scheduled reports, all reports have the same name: the name of the report. It is therefore impossible to see what scheduled report is that. So it will be really difficult to remove or add more later.

Is it possible to change the name of the scheduled report task?

Kind regards

Ruud van Strijp

It is one of the few limitations related to scheduler of the HRC. Another is that the computer running the client must be running and connected actively to the system tray (that is not a windows service)-based Scheduler app to trigger.

My Advisor on this one is upgraded to the latest 9.0 version where you can spend the customer inherited from HRC for the new unified Intelligence Center (cuic) engine of reporting. It is a browser-based USER interface and brought over UCCE so now both products have the same reporting engine. As if by chance, you can name the calendar when you create with cuic:

http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/intelligence_suite/intelligence_suite_902/user/guide/CUIC_BK_R4B100EB_00_reporting-app-user-guide-902_chapter_01000.html

That said, you will have to redo your custom rotational report, an instance of CUIC Premium laboratory (not delivered with CCX) so you can create the report definition. Once you have, you can import it into the Standard CUIC instance integrated on the CCX and be good to go. The stored SQL remains unchanged procedure process.

In case you're inclined to reject this Board, note that the HRC is EoL. 9.0, you can choose one or the other, but it's gone entirely in 10.0. Cuic only. So, it is only a matter of time before you have to cross that bridge anyway.

  • How can I get the file name of a report, I have just stored in the cache

    I would like to be able to get the file name of the report that is stored in the cache directory.

    When a report is created from forms to help

    SET_REPORT_OBJECT_PROPERTY (v_report_id, report_desname, 'fubar.pdf');

    In the cache directory a file is created something like fubarABC123DE.pdf. I guess that part of ABC123DE is the cache key.

    I want to be able to read this file from another process. This process cannot use http, so I can't pass the URL. However, I would still be able to access by using the URL.

    Is all the same to get at the file name?

    The answer is, according to management, you can get the name of the file in the cache, so if you want to access the file you need to store somewhere else.

  • Scheduled reports not working not

    Hello

    I saw this back in an old post a couple of years ago, which was unanswered, but scheduled reports have also stopped working for me.

    Reports are filtered correctly and work very well by operating manually, and all were released in PDF.

    I first noticed this a few months back and I just rebooted the Reporting service and this fixed the problem in time. However, now even if it does not get their displacement.

    I thought that maybe the size object in Control Panel max was to stop them, but it is set to 20000KB and reports are far away that great anyway.

    I had a quick glance at the RB_ITEM, RB_GENERATED_REPORTS and SU_REPORT_SCHEDULE6 and can't really see something obvious that can be stop them... Although I miss something here.

    In addition, there is no server error that seems to be the light.

    We use 9.1.5.

    See you soon

    Ray

    There was a problem with the 9.1.5 engine around the scheduled reports to reporting. If you need a fix, please log a request through the support. Otherwise, wait until you upgrade to 9.2

  • Change the name of the report server?

    I installed Oracle Application Server as_windows_x86_forms_reports_101202 on Windows XP. Any body can tell me:
    1. how to change the name of the report server
    2 configure the path of the application folder that contains the reports.

    Hello
    You want to change the name of your current report server? There is no automatic way of this fact. You will need to manually change the relevant files

    1. stop the opmn.
    $ cd $ORACLE_HOME/opmn/bin
    $ opmnctl stopall

    2. stop the EM console.
    $ cd $ORACLE_HOME/bin
    $ emctl stop iasconsole

    3. change the $ORACLE_HOME/reports/conf/rwservlet.properties file:
    Of
    SERVER =
    TO
    SERVER =

    4. make a backup of $ORACLE_HOME/sysman/emd/targets.xml.

    5. change the current process in entrances to report since the replacement of targets.xml file server: former name of report server with the new name of report server

    6. restart opmn.
    $ cd $ORACLE_HOME/opmn/bin
    $ opmnctl startall

    7 restart the EM console.
    $ cd $ORACLE_HOME/bin
    $ emctl start iasconsole

    8 - if the report server works well, you can remove all the files associated with the old name as: old reports name.conf and .../reports/logs/old reports Server server name / *. *

    I have yet to your second question. If you want to make a default path for all your reports to ensure that you have the entry for the entire site of reports in the REPORTS_PATH environment variable.

    a. UNIX, we find this variable in the reports.sh file

    b. in windows, this variable can be found in the registry.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you

  • Set the name of server report dynamically at run time

    Hi guru,.

    I called reports of the forms that I hardcode the name of report server in my code.
    Is there no alternative to set the server name of report dynamically at run time, is how to find the name of the report server and that in through my code as a parameter.

    can you give some examples of codes... Thank you

    One way that we usually followed before was to store the name of the report server in other tables in the database, then choose this name whenever we want to run a report.

    In this way, it is easy even if there is no change in the name of the server.

    Use a mechanism to copy the file where you have, for example the driver printer running cp $filename$ / xxx/yyy

  • When running scheduled report, receive error message "table or view does not exist.

    This is the first time that we play with the planning reports. We can schedule a report to base without problem, BUT when the report begins to call database packages it starts mistake. We found the package is called end but when it's a SQL query he does not know the scope of the table. For example if the code says "select * of per_all_people_f' he doesn't know what per_all_people_f. BUT if I change the code to specify the owner of the table ' select * from hr.per_all_people_f' then it will run successfully."

    In discoverer we have it set up so that a generic user db (DISCO_SCHEDULE) is used when running scheduled reports. I searched metalink and we run scripts of Oracles about this user setting. At this point, we think of creating a group of synonyms for tables of this error, but thought that it had to be a better way.

    Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem? Their a configuration step we missed when setting up the user db DISCO_SCHEDULE?

    Thanks in advance for any assistance received.

    Marty

    Hello

    Your problem is that you call the function hr_general.decode_person_name the DISCO_SCHEDULE user and like most HR packages, the package hr_general is defined with the current_user rights. Therefore, the package will use the privileges of the current user when the package is run.

    You can try to grant privileges to the tables to the DISCO_SCHEDULE user and creating the necessary synonyms, but you will struggle to get this working. HR packages refer to other packages and tables, and ensure that you have all the privileges that are put in place will be virtually impossible.

    Another approach is to create a view owned by APPS that makes calls to the hr_general package. You can also create a wrapper function which is owned by APPS and created with the copyright that calls the package hr_general. You can then call this package instead of using hr_general.

  • Automated for the function name print OR-report

    Hello

    I use NEITHER-report, using the function NIReport_Print, I noticed that I still need to choose my file name.

    I want to put a var lets say:

    reportFileName Char [256];

    in the app, I'll put reportFileName and I want the report to save automatically to a folder using the file name, it is possible using EITHER report?

    I searched a function to do, as we have excellent report but I could not find...

    Hello

    I think you are trying to print to a PDF printer.

    In this case, it's the PDF printer asking for the directory and file name to save the PDF file, no report - NOR.

    NEITHER report could not save the report as a file by itself.

    You must find a PDF printer, which has a kind of automation.

    Personally, I use BullZip PDF Printer that allows you to change the settings via the command line parameters.

    Hope this helps,

  • Scheduled reports in appworld do not seem to work at the moment

    Reports can be created, but they have just the tail and do not complete.

    I made 3 reports... of data groups normally complete within 30 seconds... who have not finished in more than 24 hours.

    I'm in no hurry to get results, I just have to inform RIM that looks like the Scheduler is down.

    I had the same kind of thing, until I just checked now. My blocked reports were generated, and a new was available at the time I was able to click on the link "here" again. Just like old times.
