  You are welcome.

  It seems to be a good match.  However, you're dealing with a 5 year and plu motheboard and a newer processor.  It is not always a good script for success.  The key is to be extremely careful when installing.  Make sure you add enough compound/thermal paste to ensure it will work cool.  If damage you it, needless to say, you cannot return it.

  Apologies that you might not get a quick response. The Q8300 is a CPU (processor) which was sold on many models of system. For me, to help determine what the hardware is compatible with your system, click on my DELL-username and send me a Message private with Dell's Service tag number. The number of Service Dell number is on a sticker at the back of the system. Depending on the age of the motherboard, chipset, etc, an i7 CPU may be a possibility. We'll see when I get the tag.

  Hi guys,.

  So I have this 2011 machine that has caused me a lot of headaches with graphics, because of which the motherboard has been replaced under extended warranty and El Capitan was installed shortly after. Everything was fine for about 3 months and now the machine started crashing from time to time. The last time it crashed I had 1 million tabs open in Firefox and after opening another, distorted sound and it crashed. (This was never a problem before). During reboot, the screen was almost completely black, you can see the progress bar, but really dim. On reboot, it gave me this report. I don't really know how to interpret it, I'd appreciate any help on your part, thank you!

  If you no longer have a Blackberry, rid the MBP of all files of the RIM.  Look at the developers wen site for instructions.

  Delete Firefox and run the MBP without it.   See if the panic stop.  Test and then put it back.  (what is the point of maintaining that a 'million' tabs open).

• Name of the product lost in the BIOS?

  I have a script to look at laptop computer product names, but some have lost their names. Called "Tecra M2" for example, they are now "Portable computer". I tried to restore the factory settings on the BIOS, but it's always the same. I suspect it's to do with the help of the Prodcut recovery CD but I am not some exercise.
  Does anyone know why this happened and how can I solve this problem? I can provide more information if necessary.

  AFAIK when the unit is a new it is the name of the actual product but it is possible that your device has a new motherboard and having traded, there is no entry of old. The restore CD just install OS but it has no effect on the BIOS settings or other entries.

  Can you please tell me why it is so important to you? I'm not sure but I think that this just certified partner can change that.

  My Realtek High definition audio driver needs to be updated.  I get abrormal end of program related to rthdcpl.exe errors. Realtek support page is a joke, and here on the site of hp is older I have one on my machine.  Realtek said to get from the motherboard manufacturer.

  The motherboard is a custom made ASUS LRTP - LA (HP/Compaq name: Goldfish3-GL8E). ASUS does not support this motherboard because it has been prepared for HP HP. provides updates for a limited time only and only if there is a known issue.

  Realtek site is one is the easiest to find the drivers on. Your HP a1010y must use an integrated Realtek ALC880 8-channel High Definition Audio CODEC. Please see "Realtek High Definition Audio Codec drivers" for your operating system installed. You will need to check the 'Accept', click 'Next' and select the appropriate driver. Keep in mind that "rthdcpl.exe" is probably the Realtek Control Panel. Also notice that the download and install an updated driver can not solve your problem.

  Trying to install a HP 1040i drive of DVD (IDE) in a new desktop PC of HPE 250F as second optical drive.

  I bought a converter card that fits 1040i data (converts SATA drive

  SATA to IDE to disk).  Rosewill (New Egg) IDE to SATA host is the name of the product.

  Power supply for mini card connected to the drive of DVD from PC.  Data for the second SATA data on the motherboard connector.

  Another MB SATA data cable goes to original BD/DVD from the optical drive.

  New disk causes Win 7 Pro install driver indicating "HP psc 2210xi USB Device" under disk drives

  OEM BD/DVD drive appears as DVD/CD-R) OM category.

  Second DVD player does not meet all the commands as Eject or play.  She has no power.

  The problem that you are facing is that machines like the one you describe have motherboards tailored to the seller, in this case, HP.  Thus, HP will not release information about these tips because they are, essentially, owners.  In addition, you can not buy one yourself, because they are built specifically for HP.
